The presented study deals with the investigation of nonlinear Bogoyavlenskii equations with conformable time-derivative which has great importance in plasma physics and non-inspectoral scattering problems.Travelling w...The presented study deals with the investigation of nonlinear Bogoyavlenskii equations with conformable time-derivative which has great importance in plasma physics and non-inspectoral scattering problems.Travelling wave solutions of this nonlinear conformable model are constructed by utilizing two powerful analytical approaches,namely,the modified auxiliary equation method and the Sardar sub-equation method.Many novel soliton solutions are extracted using these methods.Furthermore,3D surface graphs,contour plots and parametric graphs are drawn to show dynamical behavior of some obtained solutions with the aid of symbolic software such as Mathematica.The constructed solutions will help to understand the dynamical framework of nonlinear Bogoyavlenskii equations in the related physical phenomena.展开更多
In today’s digital world,the most inevitable challenge is the protection of digital information.Due to the weak confidentiality preserving techniques,the existing world is facing several digital information breaches.T...In today’s digital world,the most inevitable challenge is the protection of digital information.Due to the weak confidentiality preserving techniques,the existing world is facing several digital information breaches.To make our digital data indecipherable to the unauthorized person,a technique forfinding a crypto-graphically strong Substitution box(S-box)have presented.An S-box with sound cryptographic assets such as nonlinearity(NL),strict avalanche criterion(SAC),bit independence criteria(BIC),bit independence criteria of nonlinearity(BIC-NL),Bit independence criteria of Strict avalanche criteria(BIC-SAC),and Input/output XOR is considered as the robust S-box.The Decision-Making Trial and Evaluation Laboratory(DEMATEL)approach of multi-criteria decision making(MCDM)is proposed forfinding the interrelation among cryptographic properties.A combination of two MCDM methods namely Entropy and multi-objective optimization based on ratio analysis(MOORA)is applied for the best S-box selection.A robust substitution box is selected for secure communications in cryptography by using the combination of DEMETAL selection criteria,entro-py weight assigning,and MOORA ranking scheme.The combination of these three methods provides a fast selection procedure for the secure confusion com-ponent.The offered selection method can also be utilized for the choice of the best cryptosystem with highly secure properties and resistive against all possible linear and differential attacks in the cryptanalysis.展开更多
Magnetically coupled rodless cylinders are widely used in the coordinate positioning of mechanical arms,electro-static paintings,and other industrial applications.However,they exhibit strong nonlinear characteristics,...Magnetically coupled rodless cylinders are widely used in the coordinate positioning of mechanical arms,electro-static paintings,and other industrial applications.However,they exhibit strong nonlinear characteristics,which lead to low servo control accuracy.In this study,a mass-flow equation through the valve port was derived to improve the control performance,considering the characteristics of the dynamics and throttle-hole flow.Subsequently,a fric-tion model combining static,viscous,and Coulomb friction with a zero-velocity interval was proposed.In addition,energy and dynamic models were set for the experimental investigation of the magnetically coupled rodless cylin-der.A nonlinear mathematical model for the position of the magnetically coupled rodless cylinder was proposed.An incremental PID controller was designed for the magnetically coupled rodless cylinder to control this system,and the PID parameters were adjusted online using RBF neural network.The response results of the PID parameters based on the RBF neural network were compared with those of the traditional incremental PID control,which proved the superiority of the optimization control algorithm of the incremental PID parameters based on the RBF neural network servo control system.The experimental results of this model were compared with the simulation results.The average error between the established model and the actual system was 0.005175054(m),which was approximately 2.588%of the total travel length,demonstrating the accuracy of the theoretical model.展开更多

Cosserat discovered a new nonlinear group theoretical approach to elasticity (EL), with the only experimental need to measure the EL constants. In a modern framework, they used the nonlinear Spencer sequence instead of the nonlinear Janet sequence for the Lie groupoid defining the group of rigid motions of space. Following H. Weyl, our purpose is to compute for the first time the linear and nonlinear Spencer sequences for the Lie groupoid defining the conformal group of space-time in order to provide the mathematical foundations of both electromagnetism (EM) and gravitation (GR), with the only experimental need to measure the EM and GR constants. With a manifold of dimension n ≥ 3, the difficulty is to deal with the n nonlinear transformations that have been called “elations” by E. Cartan in 1922. Using the fact that dimension n = 4 has very specific properties for the computation of the Spencer cohomology, we also prove that there is no conceptual difference between the (nonlinear) Cosserat EL field or induction equations and the (linear) Maxwell EM field or induction equations. As for gravitation, the dimension n = 4 also allows to have a conformal factor defined everywhere but at the central attractive mass because the inversion law of the isotropy subgroupoid made by second order jets transforms attraction into repulsion. A two-dimensional ring model was used to represent the pipeline a...In order to study buckling propagation mechanism in deep sea pipelines, the contact between pipeline's inner walls in buckling process was studied. A two-dimensional ring model was used to represent the pipeline and a nonlinear spring model was adopted to simulate the contact between inner walls. Based on the elastoplastic constitutive relationship and the principle of virtual work theory, the coupling effect of pipeline's nonlinear large deformation and wall contact was included in the theoretical analysis with the aid of MATLAB, and the application scope of the theoretical model was also discussed. The calculated results show that during the loading process, the change in external pressure is closely related to the distribution of section stress, and once the walls are contacting each other, the external pressure increases and then remains stable after it reaches a specific value. Without fracture, the pipeline section will stop showing deformation. The results of theoretical calculations agree well with those of numerical simulations. Finally, in order to ensure reliability and accuracy of the theoretical results, the collapse pressure and propagation pressure were both verified by numerical simulations and experiments. Therefore, the theoretical model can be used to analyze pipeline's buckling deformation and contact between pipeline's inner walls, which forms the basis for further research on three-dimensional buckling propagation.展开更多
Beam halo-chaos in high-current accelerators has become a key concerned issue because it can cause excessive radioactivity from the accelerators therefore significantly limits their applications in industry,medicine,a...Beam halo-chaos in high-current accelerators has become a key concerned issue because it can cause excessive radioactivity from the accelerators therefore significantly limits their applications in industry,medicine,and national defense.Some general engineering methods for chaos control have been developed in recent years,but they generally are unsuccessful for beam halo-chaos suppression due to many technical constraints.Beam halo-chaos is essentially a spatiotemporal chaotic motion within a high power proton accelerator.In this paper,some efficient nonlinear control methods,including wavelet function feedback control as a special nonlinear control method,are proposed for controlling beam halo-chaos under five kinds of the initial proton beam distributions (i.e.,Kapchinsky-Vladimirsky,full Gauss,3-sigma Gauss,water-bag,and parabola distributions) respectively.Particles-in-cell simulations show that after control of beam halo-chaos,the beam halo strength factor is reduced to zero,and other statistical physical quantities of beam halo-chaos are doubly reduced.The methods we developed is very effective for suppression of proton beam halo-chaos in a periodic focusing channel of accelerator.Some potential application of the beam halo-chaos control in experiments is finally pointed out.展开更多

Based on the theory of the state-dependent Riccati equation(SDRE), a finite time nonlinear control law is developed for the nonlinear dynamics involved in formation flying. Then, a compensative internal mode(IM) control law is added to eliminate disturbances.These two control laws compose a finite time nonlinear tracking controller with disturbances rejection. Moreover, taking safety requirements into account, the repulsive control law is incorporated in the composite controller to perform collision avoidance manoeuvres. A numerical simulation is presented to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed method.Compared to the conventional control method, the proposed method provides better performance in the presence of the obstacles and external disturbances.展开更多

As a result, the original DNCOP is approximately transformed into several static bi-objective optimization problems. Third, a new multiobjective evolutionary algorithm is proposed based on a new selection operator and an improved nonuniformity mutation operator. In detail, by using operator based robust right coprime factorization approach, the control system design structures including feedforward and feedback controllers for both SISO and MIMO nonlinear uncertain systems are given, respectively.In which, the controller design includes the information of PI hysteresis and its inverse, and some sufficient conditions for the controllers in both SISO and MIMO systems should be satisfied are also derived respectively. Based on the proposed conditions, influence from hysteresis is rejected, the systems are robustly stable and output tracking performance can be realized.Finally, the effectiveness of the proposed method is confirmed by numerical simulations.展开更多

Based on the centre manifold reduction technique, nonlinear consensus protocols are presented. We prove that a group of agents can reach a β-consensus, the value of which is the group decision value varying from the minimum and the maximum values of the initial states of the agents. Moreover, we derive the conditions to guarantee that all the agents reach a β-consensus on a desired group decision value. Finally, a simulation study concerning the vertical alignment manoeuvere of a team of unmanned air vehicles is performed. Simulation results show that the nonlinear consensus protocols proposed are more effective than the linear protocols for the formation control of the agents and they are an improvement over existing protocols.展开更多

SMA possesses large hysteresis, low bandwidth, slow response, and non-linear behavior, which make them difficult to control. The fast response of the SMA actuator mostly depends upon, (1) type of controller, (2) rate of addition and removal of heat, and (3) shape or form of the actuator. Though linear controllers are more desirable than nonlinear ones, the review of literature shows that the results obtained using nonlinear controllers were far better than the former one. Therefore, more emphasis is made on the nonlinear control technologies taking into account the intelligent controllers. Various forms of SMA actuator along with different heating and cooling methods are presented in this review, followed by the nonlinear control methods and the control problems encountered by the researchers.展开更多

In comparison with the existing controller based on "classical" adaptive backstepping, this method does not follow the classical certaintyequivalence principle in the design of adaptive control law. We introduce this approach, for the first time, to power systems and present a novel parameter estimator and dynamic feedback controller for a single machine infinite bus (SMIB) system with steam valve control. This system contains unknown parameters such as reactance of transmission lines. Besides preserving useful nonlinearities and the real-time estimation of uncertain parameters, the proposed approach possesses better performances with respect to the response of the system and the speed of adaptation. The simulation results demonstrate that the proposed approach is better than the design based on "classical" adaptive backstepping in terms of properties of stability and parameter estimation, and recovers the performance of the "full-information" controller. Hence, the proposed method provides an alternative for engineers in applications.展开更多

Then, with the Floquet mode method, an impulsive controller is developed to keep the Chief on the desired Halo orbit. Finally, a nonlinear adaptive control scheme based on Nonzero set- point LQR and neural network is proposed to achieve high precision formation maneuver and keeping. The simulation results indicate that the proposed nonlinear control strategy is reasonable as it considers not only the orbit keeping of the Chief, but also the formation modeling inaccuracy. Therefore, the theoretical model can be used to analyze pipeline's buckling deformation and contact between pipeline's inner walls, which forms the basis for further research on three-dimensional buckling propagation.
文摘Beam halo-chaos in high-current accelerators has become a key concerned issue because it can cause excessive radioactivity from the accelerators therefore significantly limits their applications in industry,medicine,and national defense.Some general engineering methods for chaos control have been developed in recent years,but they generally are unsuccessful for beam halo-chaos suppression due to many technical constraints.Beam halo-chaos is essentially a spatiotemporal chaotic motion within a high power proton accelerator.In this paper,some efficient nonlinear control methods,including wavelet function feedback control as a special nonlinear control method,are proposed for controlling beam halo-chaos under five kinds of the initial proton beam distributions (i.e.,Kapchinsky-Vladimirsky,full Gauss,3-sigma Gauss,water-bag,and parabola distributions) respectively.Particles-in-cell simulations show that after control of beam halo-chaos,the beam halo strength factor is reduced to zero,and other statistical physical quantities of beam halo-chaos are doubly reduced.The methods we developed is very effective for suppression of proton beam halo-chaos in a periodic focusing channel of accelerator.Some potential application of the beam halo-chaos control in experiments is finally pointed out.

文摘A nonlinear controller for disturbances rejection and collision avoidance is proposed for spacecraft formation flying.The formation flying is described by a nonlinear model with the J2 perturbation and atmospheric drag. Based on the theory of the state-dependent Riccati equation(SDRE), a finite time nonlinear control law is developed for the nonlinear dynamics involved in formation flying. Then, a compensative internal mode(IM) control law is added to eliminate disturbances.These two control laws compose a finite time nonlinear tracking controller with disturbances rejection. Moreover, taking safety requirements into account, the repulsive control law is incorporated in the composite controller to perform collision avoidance manoeuvres. A numerical simulation is presented to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed method.Compared to the conventional control method, the proposed method provides better performance in the presence of the obstacles and external disturbances.

文摘A new method to solve dynamic nonlinear constrained optimization problems (DNCOP) is proposed. First, the time (environment) variable period of DNCOP is divided into several equal subperiods. In each subperiod, the DNCOP is approximated by a static nonlinear constrained optimization problem (SNCOP). Second, for each SNCOP, inspired by the idea of multiobjective optimization, it is transformed into a static bi-objective optimization problem. As a result, the original DNCOP is approximately transformed into several static bi-objective optimization problems. Third, a new multiobjective evolutionary algorithm is proposed based on a new selection operator and an improved nonuniformity mutation operator. The simulation results indicate that the proposed algorithm is effective for DNCOP.

文摘In this paper, operator based robust nonlinear control for single-input single-output(SISO) and multi-input multi-output(MIMO) nonlinear uncertain systems preceded by generalized Prandtl-Ishlinskii(PI) hysteresis is considered respectively. In detail, by using operator based robust right coprime factorization approach, the control system design structures including feedforward and feedback controllers for both SISO and MIMO nonlinear uncertain systems are given, respectively.In which, the controller design includes the information of PI hysteresis and its inverse, and some sufficient conditions for the controllers in both SISO and MIMO systems should be satisfied are also derived respectively. Based on the proposed conditions, influence from hysteresis is rejected, the systems are robustly stable and output tracking performance can be realized.Finally, the effectiveness of the proposed method is confirmed by numerical simulations.

文摘Nonlinear consensus protocols for dynamic directed networks of multi-agent systems with fixed and switching topologies are investigated separately in this paper. Based on the centre manifold reduction technique, nonlinear consensus protocols are presented. We prove that a group of agents can reach a β-consensus, the value of which is the group decision value varying from the minimum and the maximum values of the initial states of the agents. Moreover, we derive the conditions to guarantee that all the agents reach a β-consensus on a desired group decision value. Finally, a simulation study concerning the vertical alignment manoeuvere of a team of unmanned air vehicles is performed. Simulation results show that the nonlinear consensus protocols proposed are more effective than the linear protocols for the formation control of the agents and they are an improvement over existing protocols.
文摘This paper reviews recent developments in nonlinear control technologies for shape memory alloy (SMA) actuators in robotics and their related applications. SMA possesses large hysteresis, low bandwidth, slow response, and non-linear behavior, which make them difficult to control. The fast response of the SMA actuator mostly depends upon, (1) type of controller, (2) rate of addition and removal of heat, and (3) shape or form of the actuator. Though linear controllers are more desirable than nonlinear ones, the review of literature shows that the results obtained using nonlinear controllers were far better than the former one. Therefore, more emphasis is made on the nonlinear control technologies taking into account the intelligent controllers. Various forms of SMA actuator along with different heating and cooling methods are presented in this review, followed by the nonlinear control methods and the control problems encountered by the researchers.

The conditions of transformability are given for both single input and multiple input cases. Besides, by an algebraic approach the procedure for constructing the state transformation is established. This paper is formulated in the framework of calculus rather than differential geometry approach.

A few sufficient conditions of absolute stability of these systems were obtained by means of classical analysis and the analogue of the variation of constants formula of nonlinear systems. Moreover, they gave some sufficient conditions of absolute stability in Hurwitz angle for these systems.

文摘A new approach for nonlinear adaptive control of turbine main steam valve is developed. In comparison with the existing controller based on "classical" adaptive backstepping, this method does not follow the classical certaintyequivalence principle in the design of adaptive control law. We introduce this approach, for the first time, to power systems and present a novel parameter estimator and dynamic feedback controller for a single machine infinite bus (SMIB) system with steam valve control. This system contains unknown parameters such as reactance of transmission lines. Besides preserving useful nonlinearities and the real-time estimation of uncertain parameters, the proposed approach possesses better performances with respect to the response of the system and the speed of adaptation. The simulation results demonstrate that the proposed approach is better than the design based on "classical" adaptive backstepping in terms of properties of stability and parameter estimation, and recovers the performance of the "full-information" controller. Hence, the proposed method provides an alternative for engineers in applications.
文摘In this paper, a nonlinear control scheme of two identical hyperchaotic Chert systems is developed to realize their modified projective synchronization. We achieve modified projective synchronization between the two identical hyperchaotic systems by directing the scaling factor onto the desired value. With symbolic computation system Maple and Lyapunov stability theory, numerical simulations are given to perform the process of the synchronization.
文摘Remarks on a benchmark nonlinear constrained optimization problem are made. Due to a citation error, two absolutely different results for the benchmark problem are obtained by independent researchers. Parallel simulated annealing using simplex method is employed in our study to solve the benchmark nonlinear constrained problem with mistaken formula and the best-known solution is obtained, whose optimality is testified by the Kuhn Tucker conditions.
文摘This paper aims to provide further study on the nonlinear modeling and controller design of formation flying spacecraft in deep space missions. First, in the Sun-Earth system, the nonlinear formation dynamics for the circular restricted three-body problem (CRTBP) and elliptic restricted three-body problem (ERTBP) are presented. Then, with the Floquet mode method, an impulsive controller is developed to keep the Chief on the desired Halo orbit. Finally, a nonlinear adaptive control scheme based on Nonzero set- point LQR and neural network is proposed to achieve high precision formation maneuver and keeping. The simulation results indicate that the proposed nonlinear control strategy is reasonable as it considers not only the orbit keeping of the Chief, but also the formation modeling inaccuracy. Moreover, the nonlinear adaptive control scheme is effective to improve the control accuracy of the formation keeping.

文摘This paper presents a discrete-time design of robust compositenonlinear controller to achieve fast and accurate set-pointtracking for motor servo systems subject to actuator saturationand disturbances.The basic idea here is to use a combination oflinear and nonlinear control,together with a disturbancerejection mechanism based on extended state observer.The linearcontrol part is designed to yield a fast response,and thenonlinear part serves to reduce the overshoot,while the extendedstate observer estimates simultaneously the state vector and theunknown disturbance for control and compensation.The closed-loopstability is analyzed using the Lyapunov theory.Practicalapplication in a permanent magnet synchronous motor position servosystem is given to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposedcontrol scheme.
