基于WebofScience数据库的检索结果,利用Histcite、Bibexcel和Netdraw分析工具对国际茶多酚类研究文献进行计量分析。结果表明:1958篇相关文献刊载在713种期刊上,平均载文2.75篇;共分50个研究方向;6233人次作者(第一作者1454位)... 基于WebofScience数据库的检索结果,利用Histcite、Bibexcel和Netdraw分析工具对国际茶多酚类研究文献进行计量分析。结果表明:1958篇相关文献刊载在713种期刊上,平均载文2.75篇;共分50个研究方向;6233人次作者(第一作者1454位),66个国家或地区,l539个组织参与:国际合作发文327篇,占16.7%,其中中美合作频次最高,达61次。分析还表明:1993~2003年的近10年是国际茶多酚类研究的重要发展时期,尤其是1997年:国际茶多酚类研究热点主要集中在茶多酚类的主要组成成分的相关研究和茶多酚类物质的生理活性研究方面。 展开更多

目的从文献计量学角度分析2000-2009年我国血吸虫病研究领域的发展。方法以美国IslwebofScience的ScienceCitationIndexExpanded(SCIE)引文数据库为检索对象,检索2000-2009年间SCIE收录的有关我国血吸虫病和血吸虫学方面的文献,分... 目的从文献计量学角度分析2000-2009年我国血吸虫病研究领域的发展。方法以美国IslwebofScience的ScienceCitationIndexExpanded(SCIE)引文数据库为检索对象,检索2000-2009年间SCIE收录的有关我国血吸虫病和血吸虫学方面的文献,分别对不同机构、著者的发文量、被引频次,文献来源期刊及论文学科分布、h指数等进行统计分析。结果2000~009年间我国发表血吸虫病和血吸虫相关文献527篇,分布于100种期刊;各年发表的文献数量总体上呈上升趋势;主要学科分布为寄生虫学,热带医学,公共、环境和职业卫生学.免疫学及生物化学与分子生物学。2000-2009年我国血吸虫病研究领域的论文数量、被引频次等取得了较大发展,但与美国、澳大利亚等发达国家相比,无论是国家、机构、作者发文量,还是被引频次及h指数,仍然存在差距。结论近年来,我国在血吸虫病领域研究发展较快,但与发达国家相比仍有较大差距。中国血防工作者需进一步提高血防科研水平和论文质量。 展开更多

A new approach to assessing the science and technology competitiveness of China's provincial academies of sciences

Purpose: This study aims to establish a new framework for evaluating science and technology (S&T) competitiveness that is appropriate to meet the needs of provincial academies of sciences (PASs) in China.Design/... Purpose: This study aims to establish a new framework for evaluating science and technology (S&T) competitiveness that is appropriate to meet the needs of provincial academies of sciences (PASs) in China.Design/methodology/approaches: An evaluation index, including such assessing indicators as research strength, research impact, research development and trends, and regional contributions, is developed for China's PASs. Taking the Jiangxi Academy of Sciences (JXAS) as an example, we first explain how to apply this framework to analyze the strengths and weaknesses of PASs in China. Then, we compare the results of all 17 PASs in order to get a comprehensive understanding of their competitiveness.Findings: Our results show the development path, current status, innovation advantages, and weaknesses of JXAS very clearly. Based on our comparative analysis, we ranked the 17 PASs from the perspective of different dimensions, by which their competitiveness strengths and weaknesses can be highlighted for improvement.Research limitations: In this analysis, we did not take S&T policies, S&T systems, or historical factors into consideration. Thus, we may have ignored the influence of the soft individual differences of different PASs in China..Practical implications: The evaluation index developed in this paper provides a useful insight into an analytical method that can be used by PASs or other provincial research institutions (PRIs) to assess their competitiveness.Originality/value: Compared with existing evaluation frameworks, our method has two main characteristics: First, we added three new dimensions, including the PASs' applicable research outputs, regional contributions, and comparative advantages; second, we conducted a comparative analysis of local research institutes in their different advantaged industrial areas, which makes our analytical method more comprehensive for local research institutions. 展开更多

A new service model of document and information sharing among consortium members: The collaborative innovation practice of the NSLC and PASs

Purpose: This paper documents an exploration of an innovative approach to the sharing of documents and information among the members of the National Alliance of Academies of Sciences (NAAS) in China, based on the practice initiated by the National Science Library of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (NSLC).Design/methodology/approach: Through interviews and user surveys, we analyzed the general information demands of users from provincial academies of sciences (PASs) and problems of their document and information service teams. Based on our findings, we designed targeted services to help Alliance members support their document resources, information services for science and technology (S&T) decisions, and their knowledge transfer achievements. Furthermore, we offered training courses for provincial service teams, researchers, and administrators, to improve their information skills. These activities represent a new collaborative model for professional library consortia.Findings: To date, our service has been extended to all Alliance members, covering 19 provinces in China, and the NSLC service covers all aspects of knowledge services of Alliance members, from basic document delivery services to subject information analyses.Research limitations: Different PASs have different understandings of the role of the document and information services in the process of scientific research. These differences limit information service sharing of the NSLC with the PASs, and affect the service performance. For the sake of convenience, the original survey was conducted in only three provinces, which may not fully reflect the information needs of users in each Alliance institution. In addition, quantitative and qualitative analyses have been limited by the coverage of the sample.Practical implications: Document and information sharing has not only taken advantage of the NSLC knowledge service system and cooperation model, it has also enhanced the range of services of the NAAS in China.Originality/value: Based on knowledge service enhancements, the NAAS in China has formed a new kind of library consortium, which has broken the traditional library alliance model that was based mainly on the sharing of resources and services. 展开更多

Dr. Xie's research interests include canard phenome-na in multiple-scale dynamical systems and singular perturbation theory. He has published more than 30 research papers in prestigious journals such as SI-AM Journal on Aplied Dynamical Systems ,Journal of Nonl inear Science ,Jour-nal of Diferential Equations ,and Asymptotic Analysis. 目的分析国内外电子健康档案的研究现状和发展动态,把握电子健康档案的发展趋势,以期为我国的电子健康档案发展和相关研究指明方向。方法利用Web of Science引文数据库和文献计量方法,通过检索相关文献,对其进行年代、语种、国家/地区... 目的分析国内外电子健康档案的研究现状和发展动态,把握电子健康档案的发展趋势,以期为我国的电子健康档案发展和相关研究指明方向。方法利用Web of Science引文数据库和文献计量方法,通过检索相关文献,对其进行年代、语种、国家/地区、机构、作者等方面的分析。结果共检索出符合纳入标准的文献1 262篇。电子健康档案发表的文献量从1995年的2篇上升到2012年的218篇。其中,美国发表763篇文献居首,占60.46%。在发表机构中,哈佛大学发表135篇文献居首,占10.70%。而在期刊中,以《Journal of the American Medical Informatics Association》刊文达106篇居首,占8.40%。在研究者中,Bates David发表45篇文献居首,占3.57%。研究学科类别主要集中在健康保健服务、医学信息等学科。结论当今电子健康档案研究已成为全球关注的热点,电子健康档案文献的计量研究将有助于我们及时准确把握其发展动态和主要研究方向。 展开更多
