Similar to free-standing pile groups, piled raft foundations are conventionally designed in which the piles carry the total load of structure and the raft bearing capacity is not taken into account. Numerous studies indicated that this method is too conservative. Only when the pile cap is elevated from the ground level,the raft bearing contribution can be neglected. In a piled raft foundation, pileesoileraft interaction is complicated. Although several numerical studies have been carried out to analyze the behaviors of piled raft foundations, very few experimental studies are reported in the literature. The available laboratory studies mainly focused on steel piles. The present study aims to compare the behaviors of piled raft foundations with free-standing pile groups in sand, using laboratory physical models. Cast-in-place concrete piles and concrete raft are used for the tests. The tests are conducted on single pile, single pile in pile group, unpiled raft, free-standing pile group and piled raft foundation. We examine the effects of the number of piles, the pile installation method and the interaction between different components of foundation. The results indicate that the ultimate bearing capacity of the piled raft foundation is considerably higher than that of the free-standing pile group with the same number of piles. With installation of the single pile in the group, the pile bearing capacity and stiffness increase. Installation of the piles beneath the raft decreases the bearing capacity of the raft. When the raft bearing capacity is not included in the design process, the allowable bearing capacity of the piled raft is underestimated by more than 200%. This deviation intensifies with increasing spacing of the piles. 展开更多

A concrete gravity base structure may not be suitable for offshore weak soil because of its heavy weight. Therefore, a conceptual model for a concrete offshore wind turbine structure suitable for weak soils is proposed. The proposed model is composed of a prestressed concrete(PSC) supported by a pile foundation. For a three-dimensional analysis of the large concrete structure, wave pressures based on the diffraction wave theory are developed using a three-dimensional solid finite element method. Static and dynamic analyses were performed to achieve the conceptual model of a PSC structure subjected to ocean environmental loads and a 5-MW turbine load on southwest coast in Korea. From the analysis, the maximum displacement and stresses of the proposed model did not exceed the allowable values from design standard, and the first mode of natural frequency of the structure was in a safe range to avoid resonance. The proposed model has enough structural stability to withstand external loads, and it is expected to be used in locations suitable for concrete gravity structures. 展开更多

The compositions, technical principles and construction equipments of a new piling method used for ground improvement plastic tube cast-in-place concrete pile were introduced. The results from static load tests on single piles with different forms of pile shoes and on their composite foundations were analyzed. The distribution patterns of axial force, shaft friction and toe resistance were studied based on the measurements taken from buried strain gauges. From the point of engineering application, the pile has merits in convenient quality control, high bearing capacity and reliable quality, showing higher reasonability, advancement and suitability than other ground improvement methods. The pile can be adopted properly to take place of ordinary ground improvement method, achieving greater economical and social benefits. 展开更多

According to the method, a computer program is developed. In this program nonlinear constitutive relationships and strength criteria of concrete and steel bars are included, and the progressive cracking and crushing of the concrete are taken into account. Based on the stress distribution obtained by the nonlinear finite element analysis, the amount of reinforcement in the control sections can be computed and adjusted automatically by the program to satisfy the requirement of the design. The amount of reinforcement required in the control sections, which are obtained with the nonlinear finite element analysis, is agreeable to that obtained in the experiment. This shows that the design method of R. C. offshore platform with the nonlinear finite element method proposed by the authors is reliable for practical use. 展开更多

The bearing capacity of pile foundations is affected by the temperature of the frozen soil around pile foundations.The construction process and the hydration heat of cast-in-place(CIP)pile foundations affect the thermal stability of permafrost.In this paper,temperature data from inside multiple CIP piles,borehole observations of ground thermal status adjacent to the foundations and local weather stations were monitored in warm permafrost regions to study the thermal influence process of CIP pile foundations.The following conclusions are drawn from the field observation data.(1)The early temperature change process of different CIP piles is different,and the differences gradually diminish over time.(2)The initial concrete temperature is linearly related with the air temperature,net radiation and wind speed within 1 h before the completion of concrete pouring;the contributions of the air temperature,net radiation,and wind speed to the initial concrete temperature are 51.9%,20.3%and 27.9%,respectively.(3)The outer boundary of the thermal disturbance annulus is approximately 2 m away from the pile center.It took more than 224 days for the soil around the CIP piles to return to the natural permafrost temperature at the study site. 展开更多

A series of small-scale 1g X-section cast-in-place concrete(XCC)pile-penetration model tests were conducted to study the effects of soil density and pile geometry on the lateral responses of an existing pile and the variations in surrounding soil stress.The results showed that the bending patterns of existing XCC piles varied with penetration depth.The lateral response of the existing pile was sensitive to the change in relative density and pile geometry.For example,the bending moment of the existing pile increased along with these parameters.The development of the radial stressσ′r/σ′v0 of the soil around an existing pile showed different trends at various depths during the penetration of the adjacent pile.Moreover,the change in radial stress during the penetration of the XCC pile did not exhibit the“h/R effect”that was observed in the free-field soil,due to the shielding effect of the existing piles.The peak value of radial stressσ′r_max/σ′v0 decreased exponentially as the radial distance r/R increased.The attenuation ofσ′r_max/σ′v0 with r/R in the loose sand was faster than in the medium-dense or dense sands.Theσ′r_max/σ′v0 at the same soil location increased with the cross-section geometry parameter. 展开更多

By using ABAQUS/Explicit, the dynamic process of an offshore wind turbine(OWT) stricken by a ship of 5000DWT in the front direction is simulated. The OWT is located on a large-scale prestressing bucket foundation constructed by an integrated installation technique. According to the simulation results, under the ship collision, a certain range of plastic zone appears within a local area of arc transition structure of the bucket foundation, and the concrete plastic zone is seriously damaged. As the stress level of OWT tower is relatively low, the OWT tower is less affected. A great inertial force is generated at the top of the OWT tower as the mass of nacelle and blades is up to 400 t. The displacement of the tower is in the opposite direction of the ship collision at the end of 1 s under the action of inertial force. There is only a minor damage in the ship bow. Most of the kinetic energy is transformed into the plastic dissipation and absorbed by the arc transition structure of bucket foundation. 展开更多

近海盐渍地区大体积混凝土耐久特性研究

近海盐渍地区湿度大、腐蚀多元化,亟需提高混凝土抗腐蚀等耐久性。结合连云港某热电厂工程腐蚀环境,解决大体积混凝土的内外温差应力开裂风险和防腐耐久性问题,进行了配置混凝土的抗压强度、绝热温升、体积稳定性、抗氯离子侵蚀和抗硫... 近海盐渍地区湿度大、腐蚀多元化,亟需提高混凝土抗腐蚀等耐久性。结合连云港某热电厂工程腐蚀环境,解决大体积混凝土的内外温差应力开裂风险和防腐耐久性问题,进行了配置混凝土的抗压强度、绝热温升、体积稳定性、抗氯离子侵蚀和抗硫酸盐侵蚀特性研究。结果表明近海盐渍地区大体积混凝土宜采用S95级矿粉和粉煤灰等防腐混合材,其中矿粉掺量30%~35%,粉煤灰+早强激发剂掺量20%~25%。基于新型地聚合物碱激发原理制备的激发剂能够有效避免大掺量混合材对混凝土早期强度的不良影响,从而避免其遭受腐蚀破坏的风险。大掺量掺合料的合理使用可以提高混凝土的工作性能和耐腐蚀性能,降低水泥用量,满足盐渍地区抗侵蚀及耐久性要求。研究可为近海盐渍地区抗腐蚀低收缩高性能混凝土的制备提供借鉴。 展开更多

钢渣激发剂对近海混凝土力学性能和耐久性的影响

为提高近海混凝土的耐久性和钢渣粉在混凝土中的利用率,通过测试掺钢渣混凝土的流动度、凝结时间、力学性能、碳化深度和氯离子电通量,研究了硫酸钠、脱硫石膏、脱硫灰这3种激发剂以单掺或复掺方式对钢渣活性和混凝土抗氯离子能力和抗... 为提高近海混凝土的耐久性和钢渣粉在混凝土中的利用率,通过测试掺钢渣混凝土的流动度、凝结时间、力学性能、碳化深度和氯离子电通量,研究了硫酸钠、脱硫石膏、脱硫灰这3种激发剂以单掺或复掺方式对钢渣活性和混凝土抗氯离子能力和抗碳化性能的影响。结果表明:钢渣使水泥净浆的流动度下降,凝结时间延长,Na_(2)SO_(4)作激发剂可略微缩短凝结时间,矿粉和钢渣粉可一定程度减少混凝土坍落度的经时损失,但加入一定量的激发剂后会减弱这种效果;脱硫灰、Na_(2)SO_(4)、脱硫石膏这3种激发剂对混凝土的抗折强度有显著提升,特别是3%Na_(2)SO_(4)对抗折强度的贡献较大;Na_(2)SO_(4)与脱硫石膏复合激发剂对混凝土抗折强度的提升作用大于Na_(2)SO_(4)-脱硫灰复合激发剂和单掺激发剂;3种激发剂单掺对钢渣-矿粉混凝土7 d抗压强度略有改善效果,对后期抗压强度的改善效果不明显,但复合激发剂对混凝土抗压强度的提升较为显著,特别是3%Na_(2)SO_(4)和4%脱硫石膏复合激发剂对力学性能的提升效果较为显著;Na_(2)SO_(4)使混凝土的抗碳化性能和抗氯离子渗透性能分别提高了23.9%和43.7%,Na_(2)SO_(4)和脱硫石膏复合激发剂对耐久性的提升效果优于单一激发剂。脱硫灰、脱硫石膏、Na_(2)SO_(4)激发剂提高了钢渣的活性,进一步改善了混凝土的微结构,使得混凝土的力学性能和耐久性能提升。 展开更多

我国是一个海洋资源十分丰富的国家,随着经济的发展和技术水平的提高,海工构筑物的建设量也越来越多。海水是一种腐蚀性很强的天然电解质,海工构筑物在海水中长期浸泡会有很大的腐蚀破坏风险。目前海工构筑物的腐蚀问题仍然较为严重,特... 我国是一个海洋资源十分丰富的国家,随着经济的发展和技术水平的提高,海工构筑物的建设量也越来越多。海水是一种腐蚀性很强的天然电解质,海工构筑物在海水中长期浸泡会有很大的腐蚀破坏风险。目前海工构筑物的腐蚀问题仍然较为严重,特别是安全级别高的核电厂,在海水环境下服役的砼结构常存在钢筋锈蚀、开裂、脱离、粉化、空鼓等情况,需要采取有效的防护措施,保证构筑物的耐久性。针对海洋腐蚀问题,目前主要采取防腐涂料、表面处理、电化学保护(主要为外加电流和牺牲阳极)、添加阻锈剂、硅烷浸渍剂、材料改性等防护措施,其中防腐涂料应用最为广泛,电化学保护由于其技术要求较高,目前应用较少,但电化学保护也是非常有效果的。相对于传统的修复保护手段,海工构筑物牺牲阳极保护适用于各种类型的钢筋混凝土结构,具有保护效果好、寿命长、维护简单等优点。本文旨在研究探讨钢筋混凝土牺牲阳极保护的相关问题,包括其原理、类型、设计、对结构影响等,以期为华龙一号等相关领域的研究和后期应用提供参考。 展开更多

海砂的资源化开采和应用不仅能解决沿海地区建筑用砂紧缺的难题,而且对环境、资源保护有重大意义。本文回顾了已有的钢筋海砂混凝土结构应用,钢筋锈蚀带来的建筑质量问题十分严峻,虽然可以用严格的海砂淡化方法避免,但是需要消耗大量的... 海砂的资源化开采和应用不仅能解决沿海地区建筑用砂紧缺的难题,而且对环境、资源保护有重大意义。本文回顾了已有的钢筋海砂混凝土结构应用,钢筋锈蚀带来的建筑质量问题十分严峻,虽然可以用严格的海砂淡化方法避免,但是需要消耗大量的淡水资源,使用受限且综合效益低。而FRP耐氯盐腐蚀,性能优异,海砂混凝土与其组合应用可从根本上避免锈蚀问题,目前已有了一系列应用形式,而且未来发展前景广阔。本文介绍了已有的相关研究,并针对我国海洋开发的重大需求提出了一种面向海洋的新型FRP海砂混凝土组合结构,为海砂混凝土与FRP在工程建设中的应用提供了新的思路。 展开更多

采用综合测试手段,对香港粉煤灰的理化特性、粒度分布、表面结构进行了较为系统的研究.结果表明:该粉煤灰以铝硅玻璃体(高铝)为主,其晶相为莫来石和少量石英,含碳量较低,平均粒度为11.6μm,明显小于香港水泥颗粒的平均粒... 采用综合测试手段,对香港粉煤灰的理化特性、粒度分布、表面结构进行了较为系统的研究.结果表明:该粉煤灰以铝硅玻璃体(高铝)为主,其晶相为莫来石和少量石英,含碳量较低,平均粒度为11.6μm,明显小于香港水泥颗粒的平均粒度19.6μm.N2吸附比表面积测定表明:香港粉煤灰具有较大的比表面积,约为水泥的2.3倍.表面结构以球形为主且大部分球体具有明显的气孔与内部空腔相连,从而导致了较强的离子吸附效应.1a的对比实验表明:在混凝土中掺入质量分数为25%的粉煤灰不但能显著降低Cl-渗透系数,而且也减少了SO2-4引起的破坏,因而可大幅度延长沿岸混凝土工程的使用寿命. 展开更多
