In the algorithm, the assignment is made according to the priority, which is calculated according to the efficiency principle and the equity principle. The efficiency principle is concerned with the post-transplantation immunity spending caused by the possible post-operation immunity rejection and patient’s mental depression due to the HLA mismatch. The equity principle is concerned with three other factors, namely the treatment spending incurred starting from the day of registering with the kidney assignment network, the post-operation immunity spending and the negative effects of waiting for kidney resources on the clinical efficiency. The competitive analysis conducted through computer simulation indicates that the efficiency competitive ratio is between 6.29 and 10.43 and the equity competitive ratio is between 1.31 and 5.21, demonstrating that the online algorithm is of great significance in application.展开更多

It is a noteworthy discussion to effectively distribute the limited account resources among concurrent services. An account-sharing algorithm is proposed for multi-services,which introduces resource reclamation and redistribution processes based on the resource reservation of standard specifications and dynamically adjusts them according to the changes of Quality of Service (QoS). Three performance indexes are investigated in the simulation experiments, which are average number of accommodated sessions, average number of completed ses- sions, and average number of iterations per accommodated session. The results show that in the normal QoS level, the three indexes of the proposed algorithm averagely increase by 18.7%, 5.4%, and 3.1% compared with the Prepaid Credit Distribution (PCD) algorithm, and by 2.1%, 1.0%, and 1.8% compared with the Prepaid Credit Reclaim (PCR) algorithm. In the poor QoS level, the performance advantages are greater, which averagely increase by 29.1%, 7.1%, and 2.8% compared with PCD, and by 9.4%, 4.1%, and 3.6% compared with PCR.展开更多

Refering to studies in psychology and financial economics, we employ season, temperature and weather as mood proxies, and control the variables related to the quality of the loan to study credit approval behavior under different mood conditions. The results suggest that the efficiency of credit approval by individual credit officers is significantly correlated with their mood--a positive mood improves efficiency, while a negative mood reduces it. Specifically, loans examined under better mood conditions (e.g., during spring, comfortable temperatures, and sunny days) have a significantly higher probability of approval, but a lower probability of default if approved; and those examined under poorer mood conditions show a lower probability of approval and a higher probability of default if approved. This effect of mood is even stronger when a loan application is more complex, atypical, or unusual to evaluate. Moreover, investor sentiment, denoted by closed-end fund premiums, has the same effect on credit approval as well.展开更多
