In this paper, based on mine dynamic analysis, the index function model of mine different development stage is built up,applying dynamic programming method to find the solution of system’s optimum value,which makes the optimized result of mine dynamic design parameter more comprehensive, sysematical and reasonable. A preliminary design method of tapered SJ is proposed in the paper, which could help designers obtain accurate design data. After a further sensitive analysis is carried out, the related parameters choice and control methods are recommended in the engineering practice. By taking the extreme environment conditions into consideration, the effects of bending stress reduction and curve control are analyzed, and the 3-D FE models are established by ABQOUS for numerical evaluation to verify the correctness of design results. At last, dynamic analysis and fatigue analysis, based on actual project, are carried out with designed stress joint. The analysis results prove the feasibility and guidance of this method in the practical engineering applications.展开更多

Oscillating body systems are a major class of WECs, which typically have one...Ocean wave energy converters(WECs) are obtaining more and more attentions in the world. So far, many types of converters have been invented. Oscillating body systems are a major class of WECs, which typically have one degree of freedom(DOF), and the power absorption efficiency is not quite satisfactory. In this paper, a 3-DOF WEC is proposed and a simplified frequency-domain dynamic model of the WEC depending on the linear potential theory is conducted. The performances of three geometries of the oscillating body including the cone, the cylinder and the hemisphere have been compared, and the results show that the hemisphere is more suitable for the 3-DOF WEC.Subsequently, the relationship among the parameters of the hemisphere is established based on the equal natural frequencies of the heave and pitch(or roll) motions, and the results show that lowering the center of gravity leads to the better power absorption in the pitch(or roll) motion. In the end, the power matrixes of different sizes of the hemispheres under different irregular waves are obtained, which can give a size design reference for engineers.展开更多

In this paper, we focus on how to investigate the micro-motion dynamic characteristics of the ballistic targets from the signals based on infrared (IR) detection, which is mainly achieved by analyzing the periodic fluctuation characteristics of the target IR irradiance intensity signatures. Simulation experiments demonstrate that the periodic characteristics of IR signatures can be used to distinguish different micro motion types and estimate related parameters. Consequently, this is possible to determine the micro-motion dynamics of ballistic targets based on IR detection.展开更多

In this paper, it is adopted to evaluate the effect of each technology parameter on final grain size of AISI H13 hot work tool steel during multistage deformation. It has been verified that the technology scheme for refining the final grain size can be determined rapidly and efficiently with the aid of the uniform design. The results show that the deformation parameters and the intermission time after deformation of the first stage affect the final grain size remarkably. For AISI H13 hot work tool steel, the final grain size can be refined notably when deformation parameters for the first stage are set as follows: a deformation temperature range of 1?025 1?085 ℃; a true strain of above 0.26 and the interpass time between the first and the second stage of deformation less than 10 s.展开更多
To reveal nonlinear dynamic rules of low viscosity fluid-lubricated tilting-pad journal bearings(TPJBs),the effects of design parameters on journal center orbits and dynamic minimum film thicknesses of water-lubricate...To reveal nonlinear dynamic rules of low viscosity fluid-lubricated tilting-pad journal bearings(TPJBs),the effects of design parameters on journal center orbits and dynamic minimum film thicknesses of water-lubricated TPJBs with and without static loads are investigated.The hydrodynamic bearing force used in the nonlinear dynamic analysis is an approximate analytical solution including the turbulence effect.The results reveal the methods for vibration suppression and load capacity improvement and give an optimal pivot offset and clearance ratio that can maximize the minimum film thickness.The results also show that four-pad TPJBs with loads between pads are preferred due to good dynamic performance and load capacity.This study would provide some guidance for nonlinear design of low viscosity fluid-lubricated TPJBs under dynamic loads.展开更多
A surrogate-model-based aerodynamic optimization design method for cycloidal propeller in hover was proposed,in order to improve its aerodynamic efficiency,and analyze the basic criteria for its aerodynamic optimizati...A surrogate-model-based aerodynamic optimization design method for cycloidal propeller in hover was proposed,in order to improve its aerodynamic efficiency,and analyze the basic criteria for its aerodynamic optimization design.The reliability and applicability of overset mesh method were verified.An optimization method based on Kriging surrogate model was proposed to optimize the geometric parameters for cycloidal propeller in hover with the use of genetic algorithm.The optimization results showed that the thrust coefficient was increased by 3.56%,the torque coefficient reduced by 12.05%,and the figure of merit(FM)increased by 19.93%.The optimization results verified the feasibility of this design idea.Although the optimization was only carried out at a single rotation speed,the aerodynamic efficiency was also significantly improved over a wide range of rotation speeds.The optimal configuration characteristics for micro and small-sized cycloidal propeller were:solidity of 0.2-0.22,maximum pitch angle of 25°-35°,pitch axis locating at 35%-45% of the blade chord length.展开更多
