Mobile location-based services(MLBS)refer to services around geographic location data.Mobile terminals use wireless communication networks(or satellite positioning systems)to obtain users’geographic location coordinate information based on spatial databases and integrate with other information to provide users with required location-related services.The development of systems based on MLBS has significance and practical value.In this paper a visualization management information system for personnel in major events based on microservices,namely MEPMIS,is designed and implemented by using MLBS.The system consists of a server and a client app,and it has some functions including map search and query,personnel positioning and scheduling,location management,messaging,and location service.Managers of the events can quickly search and locate the staff on the specific area of the map in real-time,and make broadcasting messages to the staff,and manage the staff.The client app is developed on the Android system,by which staff users can send the positions information to the server timely.The client users can search fuzzily near their peers and list their locations,and also call near peers through sending messages or query the history record of staff locations.In the design of the system,several new proposed techniques,including visual annotation method for overlapping locations,correcting trajectory drift algorithm,microservices-based overall system architecture methodology and other new techniques,which are applied to the implementation of the system.Also,HTML5,JQuery,MLBS APIs(Application Program Interfaces)related programming techniques have been used and combined with loading Ajax asynchronously and Json data encapsulation,map marker optimization techniques,that can improve the positioning accuracy and the performance of the system.The developed system with practical functions can enhance the efficiencies of the organization and management of major events. 展开更多

Personnel Management in the Slovak Building Industry: Analysis of Small, Medium-Sized, and Big Building Companies

This paper summarizes the results of the authors' research conducted in November 2013 with the aim to analyze the organization and standards of the personnel management in the Slovak building industry. The research was based on the presumption that optimal mastering of the personnel management is a precondition of the success of each building company that wishes to be a continuously prosperous, competitive, and respected economic and social entity. Altogether, 76 small (less than 50 employees), 77 medium-sized (50-249 employees), and 21 big (250 and more employees) building companies operating in the territory of the Slovak Republic took part in the research. The results of the research showed that the concept of the personnel management in big building companies (in particular in comparison to most small companies but some medium-sized companies) was more strategic and systematic which is natural given the high numbers of employees of various professions who carry out manifold building works in a huge set of working conditions. However, from the point of view of the current economic development, all building companies have to develop their adaptability to the building market and their capability to master various building works. It is just the personnel management that is used to make it all up provided it is implemented efficiently in a purposeful way in order to keep the stable operation of the building company and satisfaction of various needs of stakeholders including but not limited to employees and clients. 展开更多

Objective:To introduce the emergency management of nursing human resources and supplies of a large general hospital when facing the outbreak of coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19).Method:The Nursing Department of the hospital fully executed its functional authority to establish a three-level echelon of sustainable support,allocate human recourses dynamically,organize pre-service training,supervise the key working steps,formulate positive incentive methods,and deploy medical supplies scientifically.Result:By taking these strategies,the hospital effectively improved the coping capacity of the nursing team and played a positive role in the prevention and treatment of COVID-19.Conclusion:The emergency management of nursing human resources and material resources for COVID-19 of the hospital is successful.But several deficiencies were identified as well,which indicated that the hospital needs to establish an efficient emergency management system,and pay attention to the practice of nursing emergency plans to enhance coping capacities in public health emergencies. 展开更多

HRM takes over the responsibilities of PM. HRM cur... Personnel HRM is the combination of personnel management (PM) and human resource management (HRM). PM continues to be used in firms as an administrative function. HRM takes over the responsibilities of PM. HRM currently implements HRM practices in organizations. They are, for example, training, compensation, recruitment, careers, and others. There are two kinds of responsibilities of HRM departments in organizations: employee affairs and HR-related activities. Employee affairs are related with administrative functions. HRM has the mission of performance, both individual and fu'm. Wright and McMahan (1992) articulated that HRM is the relation between HRM practices and firm performance. On the other hand, Boston Consulting Group (2010) specified that the future of HRM might be talent management. Therefore, fh-ms may apply personnel HRM in their structure, which is related with the application of PM and HRM together. Firms might have specialists (experts) for administrative functions, and experts for HRM-related practices. Therefore, personnel HRM is: Personnel HRM = PM + HRM or P-HRM = Administrative function + HRM practices. Firms have specific task person for these roles above. 展开更多
