To overcome the explosion of complexity problem in traditional backstepping design, the dynamic surface control(DSC) method is firstly used to deal with the problem of tracking control for the nonlinear non-minimum phase systems. The proposed outputfeedback DSC controller not only forces the system output to asymptotically track the desired trajectory, but also drives the unstable internal dynamics to follow its corresponding bounded and causal ideal internal dynamics, which is solved via stable system center method. Simulation results illustrate the validity of the proposed output-feedback DSC controller.展开更多

ATPS experiments were carried out changing the molar average mass of PEG(1500–6000 Da), p H(4.0–7.0), percentage of PEG(10.0–20.0 w/w), percentage of MgSO_4(8.0–16.0 w/w), percentage of the cell homogenate(10.0–20.0 w/w) and the percentage of MnSO_4(0–5.0 w/w) added as cosolute. The network evaluation was carried out comparing the partition coefficients obtained from the hybrid GMDH neural network with the experimental data using different statistical metrics. The hybrid GMDH neural network model showed better fitting(AARD = 32.752%) as well as good generalization capacity of the partition coefficients of the ATPS than the original GMDH network approach and a BPANN model. Therefore hybrid GMDH neural network model appears as a powerful tool for predicting partition coefficients during downstream processing of biomolecules.展开更多

Two different glass beads from 450 to 1250 μm were tested. The effect of solid particles on reaction selectivity with multiple impellers at different feed points has been investigated. It was confirmed that glass beads as a second phase were suitable for the study. The segregation index has changed significantly only for the medium-sized particles at relatively high solid holdups. The cloud formation was clearly observed for the medium-sized particles at a concentration of 12.12 wt. %. When feeding into the clear liquid above the cloud, the value of the segregation index increased significantly. However, in the presence of particles of 1-1.25 mm, the influence on the selectivity was negligible when the agitation speed was increased.展开更多

The ionic liquid (1-tetradecyl-3-methylimidazolium bromide)/anion surfactant (sodium dodecyl sulfate)/NaCl two-phase systems (ATPSs) is presented as a simple, rapid and effective sample pretreatment technique coupled with ultraviolet spectrometry for analysis rhodamine B in soft drink. The effects of parameters on the ATPSs extraction of rhodamine B such as amount of surfactant, ionic liquid and salt, pH, temperature, stabilization and centrifugal time have been studied in details. Under the optimized conditions, the linear range of calibration curve for rhodamine B was 0.05 - 7.0 μg·mL-1 and the detection limit was 3.2 ng·mL-1. The phase equilibrium and the mechanism of phase separation for ATPSs have been discussed. This method has been applied to the determination of rhodamine B in soft drink.展开更多

The objective of the current study is to investigate the importance of entropy generation and thermal radiation on the patterns of velocity,isentropic lines,and temperature contours within a thermal energy storage dev...The objective of the current study is to investigate the importance of entropy generation and thermal radiation on the patterns of velocity,isentropic lines,and temperature contours within a thermal energy storage device filled with magnetic nanoencapsulated phase change materials(NEPCMs).The versatile finite element method(FEM)is implemented to numerically solve the governing equations.The effects of various parameters,including the viscosity parameter,ranging from 1 to 3,the thermal conductivity parameter,ranging from 1 to 3,the Rayleigh parameter,ranging from 102 to 3×10^(2),the radiation number,ranging from 0.1 to 0.5,the fusion temperature,ranging from 1.0 to 1.2,the volume fraction of NEPCMs,ranging from 2%to 6%,the Stefan number,ranging from 1 to 5,the magnetic number,ranging from 0.1 to 0.5,and the irreversibility parameter,ranging from 0.1 to 0.5,are examined in detail on the temperature contours,isentropic lines,heat capacity ratio,and velocity fields.Furthermore,the heat transfer rates at both the cold and hot walls are analyzed,and the findings are presented graphically.The results indicate that the time taken by the NEPCMs to transition from solid to liquid is prolonged inside the chamber region as the fusion temperatureθf increases.Additionally,the contours of the heat capacity ratio Cr decrease with the increase in the Stefan number Ste.展开更多

Park’s transformation provides accurate control over reactive and active (real) power. This enhances the overall efficiency of the system by enabling operators to control reactive power compensation and optimize energy flow. In dynamic settings, this guarantees greater system stability and faster response times. The current paper aims to improve the grid system by utilizing the dq0 controller. The current work focuses on the analysis based on simulations and theory, where the state space equation serves as the basis for dq-axis current decoupling. A MATLAB platform was used to simulate the complete system. TDH values of 2.45%, or less than 5%, in the given results are acceptable. The suggested controller was hence appropriate for grid system applications.展开更多

This enhances the overall efficiency of the system by enabling operators to control reactive power compensation and optimize energy flow. In dynamic settings, this guarantees greater system stability and faster response times. The current paper aims to improve the grid system by utilizing the dq0 controller. The current work focuses on the analysis based on simulations and theory, where the state space equation serves as the basis for dq-axis current decoupling. A MATLAB platform was used to simulate the complete system. TDH values of 2.45%, or less than 5%, in the given results are acceptable. The suggested controller was hence appropriate for grid system applications.
