A series of novel poly(aryl ether nitrile)s containing phthalazinone moiety were synthesized by the nucleophilic displacement reaction of bisphenol-like monomers (I) with 2,6-difluorobenzonitrile. The inherent vis...A series of novel poly(aryl ether nitrile)s containing phthalazinone moiety were synthesized by the nucleophilic displacement reaction of bisphenol-like monomers (I) with 2,6-difluorobenzonitrile. The inherent viscosities ranged from 0.46 to 1.07 dL g^-1. The glass transition temperatures were in the range of 277-295℃, and the temperatures for 10% weight loss in nitrogen atmosphere were found between 495 and 527 ℃. The structures of these resultant polymers were confirmed by FT-IR and 1^H NMR. Moreover, the properties of poly(aryl ether nitrile)s including solubility and crystallinity were also studied.展开更多
Chloromethylated poly(phthalazinone ether sulfone ketone) (CMPPESK) was prepared from poly(phthalazinone ether sulfone ketone) (PPESK) using chloromethyl octyl ethers (CMOE) with lower toxicity as chlorometh...Chloromethylated poly(phthalazinone ether sulfone ketone) (CMPPESK) was prepared from poly(phthalazinone ether sulfone ketone) (PPESK) using chloromethyl octyl ethers (CMOE) with lower toxicity as chloromethylated regent. CMPPESK was soluble in N-methyl-2-pyrrolidone (NMP), N,N-dimethylacetamide (DMAc) and chloroform. Quaternized poly(phthalazinone ether sulfone ketone) (QAPPESK) was prepared from CMPPESK by quaternization. QAPPESK had excellent solvent resistance, which was only partly soluble in sulfuric acid (98%) and swollen in N,N-dimethylformamide (DMF). The vanadium redox flow battery (V-RFB) using QAPPESK anion-exchange membrane had better performance with 88.3% of overall energy efficiency.展开更多

The glass transition temperatures (Tg) and 5% decomposition temperatures were ranged in 253-269 ℃ and 488-500 ℃, respectively, The structures of these copolymers were confirmed by FT-IR and ^1H NMR. A novel diacid chloride, 2-(4-chlorocarboxyphenyl)-4-[3,5-dimethyl-4-(4-chlorocarbo-xylphenoxy)phenyl]-2,3-phthalazin-l-one 2, was synthesized and used for the preparation of polyarylates with inherent viscosities...A novel diacid chloride, 2-(4-chlorocarboxyphenyl)-4-[3,5-dimethyl-4-(4-chlorocarbo-xylphenoxy)phenyl]-2,3-phthalazin-l-one 2, was synthesized and used for the preparation of polyarylates with inherent viscosities of 0.25-0.37 dL·g^-1. The glass transition temperatures of polyarylates were in the range of 217-272℃. The temperatures at 10% weight loss of polyarylates were found to be in the range of 434-464℃ in nitrogen atmosphere and their structure was confirmed by FTIR and IH NMR. The amorphous polyarylates exhibited excellent solubility in a variety of solvents such as NMP, DMAc, DMF and chloroform.展开更多

A group of poly (phthalazinone ether sulfone ketone)/potassium-titanate-whisker (PPSEK/whisker) composites was prepared by coprecipitation from solution. The whisker surface was modified using titanate coupling agent ...A group of poly (phthalazinone ether sulfone ketone)/potassium-titanate-whisker (PPSEK/whisker) composites was prepared by coprecipitation from solution. The whisker surface was modified using titanate coupling agent prior to blending. The tensile, impact, morphology and thermal properties of the moulded composites were investigated. The measurements showed that the tensile strength and impact strength of the composites increased with increasing whiskers content up to 10 to 20 phr, thereafter they showed a decrease in the whiskers content reached 40 phr. At the same time, the modulus of the composites increased with increasing whiskers content. Scanning electron microscopy studies revealed that the whiskers within the composites were dispersed uniformly by treated with coupling agent. Finally, thermogravimetric analysis showed that the heat resistance of the composites tended to increase with increasing whisker content. The results were analysed and discussed in terms of established models of the behaviour of short-fiber reinforced composites.展开更多

A novel unsymmetrical fluorinated diamine monomer with kink non-coplanar heterocyclic structures, 1,2-dihydro- 2-(4-amino-2-trifluoromethyophenyo)-4-[4-(4-amino-2-trifluoromethyophenoxy)phenyo](2H)phthaoazin-1-o...A novel unsymmetrical fluorinated diamine monomer with kink non-coplanar heterocyclic structures, 1,2-dihydro- 2-(4-amino-2-trifluoromethyophenyo)-4-[4-(4-amino-2-trifluoromethyophenoxy)phenyo](2H)phthaoazin-1-oneo was prepared through the nucleophilic substitution reaction of 1-trifluromethyl-2-chloro-5-nitrobenzene with 1,2-dihydro-4-(4- hydroxyphenyl)(2H)phthalazin-l-one in the presence of potassium carbonate, followed by catalytic reduction with hydrazine and Pd-C. A series of new fluorinated polyarnides were synthesized by the phosphorylation polyamidation of the fluorinated diamine with various dicarboxylic acids. The prepared polymers were obtained in quantitative yields with moderately and high inherent viscosities (0.47-0.87 dL/g). They were all amorphous and readily soluble in various polar aprotic solvents such as N-methyl-2-pyrrolidone (NMP), N,N-dimethylformamide (DMF), N,N-dimethylacctamide (DMAc), pyridine (Py) and m-cresol at room temperature. These fluorinated polyamides have excellent thermal properties. The glass transition temperatures were all above 300℃. The 5% and 10% weight loss temperatures were in the range of 437-466℃ and 482-525℃ in nitrogen atmosphere, respectively.展开更多
Based on several unsymmetrical, twist, noncoplanar phthalazinone-containing monomers 2a-2e and an active bis(4-fluorophenyl)phenyl phosphine oxide (BFPPO) monomer, a series of novel poly(phthalazinone ether phosp...Based on several unsymmetrical, twist, noncoplanar phthalazinone-containing monomers 2a-2e and an active bis(4-fluorophenyl)phenyl phosphine oxide (BFPPO) monomer, a series of novel poly(phthalazinone ether phosphine oxide)s (PPEPO) was synthesized by anhydrous K2CO3 mediated N-C coupling reaction in DMAc. The polymers exhibited good thermal properties with Tgs ranging from 267℃ to 306℃ and 5% weight loss temperatures in nitrogen higher than 430℃, together with high char yield upon prolonged heating at 800℃ (35%-56%). Moreover, the polymers were readily soluble in common organic solvents, such as N-methyl-2-pyrrolidone, chloroform and m-cresol. These polymers had inherent viscosities in the range of 0.45-0.72 dL/g and could be cast into flexible and colorless films by spin coating or casting approach.展开更多

At the same time, the modulus of the composites increased with increasing whiskers content. Scanning electron microscopy studies revealed that the whiskers within the composites were dispersed uniformly by treated with coupling agent. Finally, thermogravimetric analysis showed that the heat resistance of the composites tended to increase with increasing whisker content. The results were analysed and discussed in terms of established models of the behaviour of short-fiber reinforced composites.
文摘A novel poly(ether imide)s containing phthalazinone and isopropyl moieties derived from 2-(4-aminophenyl)-4-[4-(4-aminophenoxy)phenyl]-phthalazin-1-one and bisphenol-A diphthalic anhydride was synthesized by one-step solution condensation polymerization in nr-cresol. The polymer was characterized by FTIR, NMR, molecular weights, glass transition temperature, thermal degradation temperature and WAXD.

文摘A novel unsymmetrical fluorinated diamine monomer with kink non-coplanar heterocyclic structures, 1,2-dihydro- 2-(4-amino-2-trifluoromethyophenyo)-4-[4-(4-amino-2-trifluoromethyophenoxy)phenyo](2H)phthaoazin-1-oneo was prepared through the nucleophilic substitution reaction of 1-trifluromethyl-2-chloro-5-nitrobenzene with 1,2-dihydro-4-(4- hydroxyphenyl)(2H)phthalazin-l-one in the presence of potassium carbonate, followed by catalytic reduction with hydrazine and Pd-C. A series of new fluorinated polyarnides were synthesized by the phosphorylation polyamidation of the fluorinated diamine with various dicarboxylic acids. The prepared polymers were obtained in quantitative yields with moderately and high inherent viscosities (0.47-0.87 dL/g). They were all amorphous and readily soluble in various polar aprotic solvents such as N-methyl-2-pyrrolidone (NMP), N,N-dimethylformamide (DMF), N,N-dimethylacctamide (DMAc), pyridine (Py) and m-cresol at room temperature. These fluorinated polyamides have excellent thermal properties. The glass transition temperatures were all above 300℃. The 5% and 10% weight loss temperatures were in the range of 437-466℃ and 482-525℃ in nitrogen atmosphere, respectively.

文摘Based on several unsymmetrical, twist, noncoplanar phthalazinone-containing monomers 2a-2e and an active bis(4-fluorophenyl)phenyl phosphine oxide (BFPPO) monomer, a series of novel poly(phthalazinone ether phosphine oxide)s (PPEPO) was synthesized by anhydrous K2CO3 mediated N-C coupling reaction in DMAc. The polymers exhibited good thermal properties with Tgs ranging from 267℃ to 306℃ and 5% weight loss temperatures in nitrogen higher than 430℃, together with high char yield upon prolonged heating at 800℃ (35%-56%). Moreover, the polymers were readily soluble in common organic solvents, such as N-methyl-2-pyrrolidone, chloroform and m-cresol. These polymers had inherent viscosities in the range of 0.45-0.72 dL/g and could be cast into flexible and colorless films by spin coating or casting approach.
