The blends showed two glass transition temperatures and a depression of melting temperature of PHB with compositions in phase diagram, which indicated that the blend was partially miscible. The morphology observation supported this result. It was found that the PHB and PES can crystallize simultaneously or upon stepwise depending on the crystallization temperatures and compositions. The spherulite growth rate of PHB increased with increasing of PES content. The influence of compositions on the spherulitic growth rate for the partially miscible polymer blends was discussed.展开更多
Poly(4-methyl-1-pentene)hollow fiber membranes(PMP HFMs)are commonly used in gas separation membrane and artificial lung membrane in extracorporeal membrane oxygenation(ECMO),and its porous structure and mechanical pr...Poly(4-methyl-1-pentene)hollow fiber membranes(PMP HFMs)are commonly used in gas separation membrane and artificial lung membrane in extracorporeal membrane oxygenation(ECMO),and its porous structure and mechanical properties have a significant impact on the performance of the membrane material.In our work,PMP HFMs were prepared by thermally induced phase separation method.Subsequently,through characterization analysis of powder X-ray diffraction,universal tensile machine,scanning electron microscope and other instruments,the effects of PMP concentration,diluent ratio,quenching temperature,air gap distance and winding speed on the membrane performance were systematically investigated to obtain optimal preparation conditions for PMP HFMs.The results showed that the PMP HFMs prepared under optimal conditions possessed good gas permeability with a nitrogen flux of 10.5 ml·MPa^(-1)·cm^(-2)·min^(-1),a surface dense layer,and a good tensile strength of 9.33 MPa.We believed that this work could provide useful references for the application of PMP membranes in the medical field.展开更多

Exfoliation of bulk graphitic carbon nitride(g‐C3N4)into two‐dimensional(2D)nanosheets is one of the effective strategies to improve its photocatalytic properties so that the 2D g‐C3N4 nanosheets(CN)have larger spe...Exfoliation of bulk graphitic carbon nitride(g‐C3N4)into two‐dimensional(2D)nanosheets is one of the effective strategies to improve its photocatalytic properties so that the 2D g‐C3N4 nanosheets(CN)have larger specific surface areas and more reaction sites.In addition,poly‐o‐phenylenediamine(PoPD)can improve the electrical conductivity and photocatalytic activity of semiconductor materials.Here,the novel efficient composite PoPD/AgCl/g‐C3N4 nanosheets was first synthesized by a precipitation reaction and the photoinitiated polymerization approach.The obtained photocatalysts have larger specific surface areas and could achieve better visible‐light response.However,silver chloride(AgCl)is susceptible to agglomeration and photocorrosion.The PoPD/AgCl/CN composite exhibits an extremely high photocurrent density,which is three times that of CN.Obviously enhanced photocatalytic activities of PoPD/AgCl/g‐C3N4 are revealed through the photodegradation of tetracycline.The stability of PoPD/AgCl/CN is demonstrated based on four cycles of experiments that reveal that the degradation rate only decreases slightly.Furthermore,.O2^-and h+are the main active species,which are confirmed through a trapping experiment and ESR spin‐trap technique.Therefore,the prepared PoPD/AgCl/CN can be considered as a stable photocatalyst,in which PoPD is added as a charge carrier and acts a photosensitive protective layer on the surface of the AgCl particles.This provides a new technology for preparing highly stable composite photocatalysts that can effectively deal with environmental issues.展开更多

The initiator 1,1-diphenylethylene (DPE) capped 2-chloro-2,4,4-trimethylpentane (TMPCl) was formed in situ in conjunction with titanium tetrachloride (TiCl(4)). The Lewis acidity of TiCl(4) was decreased by the addition of titanium(IV) isopropoxide (Ti(OiPr)(4)) to accomplish living polymerization of TBDMES. Hydrolysis of poly(TBDMES) in the presence of tetra-butylammonium fluoride yielded poly[4-(2-hydroxyethyl)styrene] (poly(HOES)). FT-IR, NMR and DSC demonstrated the hydrolysis was complete.展开更多

Micron-sized polymer particles from single poly(4-butyltriphenylamine) (PBTPA) homopolymer, binary polymer blend [PBTPA/poly(methyl methacrylate) (PMMA)], and ternary polymer blend (PBTPA/PBTPA-b-PMMA/PMMA) via a solv...Micron-sized polymer particles from single poly(4-butyltriphenylamine) (PBTPA) homopolymer, binary polymer blend [PBTPA/poly(methyl methacrylate) (PMMA)], and ternary polymer blend (PBTPA/PBTPA-b-PMMA/PMMA) via a solvent evaporation method, and the surface morphologies and inside structure of resulting particles were investigated. Spherical homopolymer particles with smooth surface were resulted from PBTPA with low molecular weight. In the case of binary blends (PBTPA/PMMA = 1/1), Janus (low molecular weight) and dumbbell (high molecular weight) type morphologies were observed. The particles based on ternary blends containing PBTPA-b-PMMA showed core-shell type morphologies (PMMA;core, PBTPA;shell). Degree of engulfment of PMMArich domain increased with the content of the block copolymer. The decrease of domain size was not observed although the block copolymer had a suitable structure as a compatibilizer for the blend. It was also found that the initial concentration of polymer solution had an effect on the final morphology.展开更多
Pheniramine maleate (PA), an antihistamine, was determined by Differential Pulse Stripping voltammetry using nano polypyrrole (Ppy) and nano poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene) (PEDOT) modified glassy carbon electrodes. ...Pheniramine maleate (PA), an antihistamine, was determined by Differential Pulse Stripping voltammetry using nano polypyrrole (Ppy) and nano poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene) (PEDOT) modified glassy carbon electrodes. The cyclic voltammetric behavior of pheniramine was studied in aqueous acidic, neutral and alkaline conditions. One well-defined oxidation peak was observed in the cyclic voltammograms at all pHs. The influence of pH, scan rate and concentration revealed irreversible electron transfer and the oxidation was diffusion controlled adsorption. The SEM analysis confirmed good accumulation of PA on the electrode surface. A systematic study of influence of various experimental parameters that affect the stripping voltammetric response was carried out and the maximum peak current conditions were arrived at. Calibration was made under maximum peak current conditions. The range of study was 0.05 to 0.4 μg/mL on Ppy/GCE and 0.025 to 0.4μg/mL on PEDOT/GCE and the lower limit of determination were 0.035μg/mL on Ppy/GCE and 0.016μg/mL on PEDOT/GCE. The suitability of the method for the determination of PA in pharmaceutical preparations and urine samples was also ascertained.展开更多

The effect of the concentration of P4-VP/dimethylforma...Poly(4-vinylpyridine)(P4-VP) nanofiber and fluoresent poly(4-vinylpyridine)/porphyrin(P4-VP/TPPA) nanofiber were respectively prepared by electrospinning. The effect of the concentration of P4-VP/dimethylformamide (DMF) electrospinning solutions on the morphology of P4-VP nanofiber was investigated and it was found that the average diameter of the nanofiber of P4-VP/DMF increased with the increase of the concentration of the spinning solution. After the addition of TPPA to the P4-VP/DMF spinning solution, the diameter of P4-VP/TPPA nanofiber became even due to the increase of the conductivity of the P4-VP/DMF-TPPA solution. The photoluminescent(PL) spectral analysis indicates that the emission peak position of P4-VP/TPPA nanofiber is almost the same as that of pure TPPA at about 650 nm without peak shift, and when it was stored for 20 days, the emission peak of P4-VP/TPPA nanofiber is also at 650 nm, indicating that the fluorescent property of P4-VP/TPPA nanofiber is stable. Fourier-transform iufrared(FTIR) spectrum confirms the chemical composition of the resulting P4-VP/TPPA composite nanofiber.展开更多
The oxidative polycondensation reaction conditions of 4-[(4-hydroxybenzylidene) amino] phenol (4-HBAP) were studied with H2O2, air oxygen and NaOCl in an aqueous alkaline medium between 50 and 90℃. The structures...The oxidative polycondensation reaction conditions of 4-[(4-hydroxybenzylidene) amino] phenol (4-HBAP) were studied with H2O2, air oxygen and NaOCl in an aqueous alkaline medium between 50 and 90℃. The structures of the obtained monomer and polymer were confirmed by FT-IR, UV-Vis, 1H- and 13C-NMR and elemental analysis. The characterization was made by TG-DTA, size exclusion chromatography (SEC) and solubility tests. At the optimum reaction conditions, the yield of poly[4-(4-hydroxybenzylidene amino) phenol] (P-4-HBAP) was found to be 48.3% (for H2O2 oxidant), 80.5% (for air O2 oxidant) and 86.4% (for NaOCl oxidant). According to the SEC analysis, the number-average molecular weight (Mn), weight-average molecular weight (Mw) and polydispersity index (PDI) values of P-4-HBAP was found to be 8950, 10970 g tool^-1 and 1.225, respectively, using H202; and l l610, 15190 g tool^-1 and 1.308 respectively, using air 02 and 7900, 9610 g mol^-1 and 1.216, respectively, using NaOC1. According to TG-DTA analyses, P-4-HBAP was more stable than 4-HBAP against thermal decomposition. The weight loss of P-4-HBAP was found to be 49.27% at 1000℃. The highest occupied molecular orbital (HOMO) and the lowest unoccupied molecular orbital (LUMO) values calculated from electrochemical measurement. Electrochemical energy gaps (Eg') of 4-HBAP and P-4-HBAP were found to be -5.46, -5.28; -2.26, -2.67; 3.20 and 2.61 eV, respectively. According to UV-Vis measurements, optical band gap (Eg) of 4-HBAP and P-4-HBAP were found to be 3.34 and 3.01 eV, respectively. Also, antimicrobial activities of 4-HBAP and P-4-HBAP were examined against selected some bacteria. The electrical conductivity of the polymer was measured after doping with iodine.展开更多

Degree of engulfment of PMMArich domain increased with the content of the block copolymer. The decrease of domain size was not observed although the block copolymer had a suitable structure as a compatibilizer for the blend. It was also found that the initial concentration of polymer solution had an effect on the final morphology.
文摘Pheniramine maleate (PA), an antihistamine, was determined by Differential Pulse Stripping voltammetry using nano polypyrrole (Ppy) and nano poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene) (PEDOT) modified glassy carbon electrodes. The cyclic voltammetric behavior of pheniramine was studied in aqueous acidic, neutral and alkaline conditions. One well-defined oxidation peak was observed in the cyclic voltammograms at all pHs. The influence of pH, scan rate and concentration revealed irreversible electron transfer and the oxidation was diffusion controlled adsorption. The SEM analysis confirmed good accumulation of PA on the electrode surface. A systematic study of influence of various experimental parameters that affect the stripping voltammetric response was carried out and the maximum peak current conditions were arrived at. Calibration was made under maximum peak current conditions. The range of study was 0.05 to 0.4 μg/mL on Ppy/GCE and 0.025 to 0.4μg/mL on PEDOT/GCE and the lower limit of determination were 0.035μg/mL on Ppy/GCE and 0.016μg/mL on PEDOT/GCE. The suitability of the method for the determination of PA in pharmaceutical preparations and urine samples was also ascertained.

文摘Poly(4-vinylpyridine)(P4-VP) nanofiber and fluoresent poly(4-vinylpyridine)/porphyrin(P4-VP/TPPA) nanofiber were respectively prepared by electrospinning. The effect of the concentration of P4-VP/dimethylformamide (DMF) electrospinning solutions on the morphology of P4-VP nanofiber was investigated and it was found that the average diameter of the nanofiber of P4-VP/DMF increased with the increase of the concentration of the spinning solution. After the addition of TPPA to the P4-VP/DMF spinning solution, the diameter of P4-VP/TPPA nanofiber became even due to the increase of the conductivity of the P4-VP/DMF-TPPA solution. The photoluminescent(PL) spectral analysis indicates that the emission peak position of P4-VP/TPPA nanofiber is almost the same as that of pure TPPA at about 650 nm without peak shift, and when it was stored for 20 days, the emission peak of P4-VP/TPPA nanofiber is also at 650 nm, indicating that the fluorescent property of P4-VP/TPPA nanofiber is stable. Fourier-transform iufrared(FTIR) spectrum confirms the chemical composition of the resulting P4-VP/TPPA composite nanofiber.

文摘The oxidative polycondensation reaction conditions of 4-[(4-hydroxybenzylidene) amino] phenol (4-HBAP) were studied with H2O2, air oxygen and NaOCl in an aqueous alkaline medium between 50 and 90℃. The structures of the obtained monomer and polymer were confirmed by FT-IR, UV-Vis, 1H- and 13C-NMR and elemental analysis. The characterization was made by TG-DTA, size exclusion chromatography (SEC) and solubility tests. At the optimum reaction conditions, the yield of poly[4-(4-hydroxybenzylidene amino) phenol] (P-4-HBAP) was found to be 48.3% (for H2O2 oxidant), 80.5% (for air O2 oxidant) and 86.4% (for NaOCl oxidant). According to the SEC analysis, the number-average molecular weight (Mn), weight-average molecular weight (Mw) and polydispersity index (PDI) values of P-4-HBAP was found to be 8950, 10970 g tool^-1 and 1.225, respectively, using H202; and l l610, 15190 g tool^-1 and 1.308 respectively, using air 02 and 7900, 9610 g mol^-1 and 1.216, respectively, using NaOC1. According to TG-DTA analyses, P-4-HBAP was more stable than 4-HBAP against thermal decomposition. The weight loss of P-4-HBAP was found to be 49.27% at 1000℃. The highest occupied molecular orbital (HOMO) and the lowest unoccupied molecular orbital (LUMO) values calculated from electrochemical measurement. Electrochemical energy gaps (Eg') of 4-HBAP and P-4-HBAP were found to be -5.46, -5.28; -2.26, -2.67; 3.20 and 2.61 eV, respectively. According to UV-Vis measurements, optical band gap (Eg) of 4-HBAP and P-4-HBAP were found to be 3.34 and 3.01 eV, respectively. Also, antimicrobial activities of 4-HBAP and P-4-HBAP were examined against selected some bacteria. The electrical conductivity of the polymer was measured after doping with iodine.

文摘A novel kind of copolymer with ABA-type block structure was synthesized by anionic ring-opening polymerization of beta-butyrolactone (beta-BL) in the presence of a PEG-based dicarboxylates as macroinitiators which were prepared by the esterification of aliphatic cyclic anhydride and poly(ethylene glycol) (PEG) oligomers (M-n = 2000, 4000 and 6000) and conversion of potassium dicarboxylates. The resultant copolymers as well as the intermediates were characterized by IR, H-1-NMR and GPC.
