The inherent vis...A series of novel poly(aryl ether nitrile)s containing phthalazinone moiety were synthesized by the nucleophilic displacement reaction of bisphenol-like monomers (I) with 2,6-difluorobenzonitrile. The inherent viscosities ranged from 0.46 to 1.07 dL g^-1. The glass transition temperatures were in the range of 277-295℃, and the temperatures for 10% weight loss in nitrogen atmosphere were found between 495 and 527 ℃. The structures of these resultant polymers were confirmed by FT-IR and 1^H NMR. Moreover, the properties of poly(aryl ether nitrile)s including solubility and crystallinity were also studied.展开更多

Based on several unsymmetrical, twist, noncoplanar phthalazinone-containing monomers 2a-2e and an active bis(4-fluorophenyl)phenyl phosphine oxide (BFPPO) monomer, a series of novel poly(phthalazinone ether phosp...Based on several unsymmetrical, twist, noncoplanar phthalazinone-containing monomers 2a-2e and an active bis(4-fluorophenyl)phenyl phosphine oxide (BFPPO) monomer, a series of novel poly(phthalazinone ether phosphine oxide)s (PPEPO) was synthesized by anhydrous K2CO3 mediated N-C coupling reaction in DMAc. The polymers exhibited good thermal properties with Tgs ranging from 267℃ to 306℃ and 5% weight loss temperatures in nitrogen higher than 430℃, together with high char yield upon prolonged heating at 800℃ (35%-56%). Moreover, the polymers were readily soluble in common organic solvents, such as N-methyl-2-pyrrolidone, chloroform and m-cresol. These polymers had inherent viscosities in the range of 0.45-0.72 dL/g and could be cast into flexible and colorless films by spin coating or casting approach.展开更多

These reactions were catalyzed by anhydrous aluminum chloride (AlCl). The characteristic of copolymers were studied by means of advanced analytical techniques such as FT-IR,1H-NMR, DSC, TGA and WAXD. The results show glass transition temperature (Tg) in the range of 193-206℃, thermally stable in excess of 434℃ and excellent solubility in polar solvents. Methyl-substituted Poly(aryl ether sulfone ketone)s had higher glass transition temperatures, lower initial decomposition temperatures than the unsubstituted ones.展开更多

PEEKEK was prepared from 4,4'-bis(p-fluorobenzoyl) diphenyl ether (4,4'-FBDE) and hydroquinone along the nucleophilic substitution route. The thermal properties were investigated by using DSC and TGA. The crystallization behavior of PEEKEK under several conditions, i.e., crystallization from the molten state (melt crystallization), crystallization from a quenched sample (cold crystallization) and crystallization induced by exposing glassy sample to methylene chloride (solvent-induced crystallization) has also been investigated. The results show that crystallization of PEEKEK could be induced by the above methods, and no polymorphism was found. The differences in the crystallization of PEEKEK induced by the above methods are seen in their degree of crystallinity.展开更多

A series of novel poly(aryl ether amide)s containing the phthalazinone moiety with inherent viscosities of 1.16–1.67 dL/g were prepared by the direct polymerization of the novel diamines and aromatic dicarboxylic acids using triphenyl phosphite and pyridine as condensing agents. The polymers were readily soluble in a variety of solvents such as N,N -dimethylformamide (DMF), N,N-dimethylacetamide (DMAc), dimethylsulfoxide ( DMSO ), N-methyl-2-pyrrolidinone (NMP), and pyridine. Sulfonated poly(ether ketone)s containing 3,5-dimethyl phthalazinone moieties (SPPEK-DMs) with different degrees of sulfonation (DS) were synthesized via direct polycondensation from 4-(3,5-dimethyl-4-hydroxyph...Sulfonated poly(ether ketone)s containing 3,5-dimethyl phthalazinone moieties (SPPEK-DMs) with different degrees of sulfonation (DS) were synthesized via direct polycondensation from 4-(3,5-dimethyl-4-hydroxyphenyl)-2,3- phthalazinone, 4,4'-difluorobenzophenone and 3,3'-disulfonate-4,4'-difluorobenzophenone. The chemical structure of SPPEK-DMs was characterized by FTIR and 1H-NMR. Thermal stability of SPPEK-DMs was characterized by the thermogravimetric analysis. The membranes prepared from SPPEK-DMs exhibited ion exchange capacities (IEC) ranging from 0.93 mmol.g-1 to 1.86 mmol.g-1. Water uptake, swelling, oxidative stability and methanol permeability of SPPEK- DMs membranes were investigated. SPPEK-DMs membranes exhibited high oxidative stability. The methanol permeability values of SPPEK-DMs membranes were in the range 5.15× 10^-8-6.61×10^-7 cm^2.s-1, which was much lower than those of Nafion117. The proton conductivity of SPPEK-DM40 membranes was 1.1 ×10^-2 S.cm^-1 at 70℃.展开更多
A series ofpoly(aryl ether sulfone ketone)s containing phthalazinone and biphenyl moieties were synthesized by aromatic nucleophilic displacement polycondensation of 4-(4-hydroxylphenyl)(2H)-phthalazin-l-one (D...A series ofpoly(aryl ether sulfone ketone)s containing phthalazinone and biphenyl moieties were synthesized by aromatic nucleophilic displacement polycondensation of 4-(4-hydroxylphenyl)(2H)-phthalazin-l-one (DHPZ), 4,4'- dichlorobenzophenone (DCB), 4,4'-dichlorodiphenyl sulfone (DCS) and 4,4'-biphenol (BP) in different molar ratios. The obtained copolymers were characterized by different instrumental techniques (FTIR, TGA, DSC, WAXD, etc.). The inherent viscosities of these polymers were in the range of 0.43-0.56 dL g^-1. They were amorphous and had good solubility in polar aprotic organic solvents. The copolymers exhibited high glass transition temperatures (TgS) between 225℃ and 256℃and excellent thermal stability up to 517-526℃ (thermal decomposition temperatures for 5% weight loss, Td, 5%) in nitrogen. The tensile strength and elongation at break of the polymers ranged from 63 MPa to 71 MPa and from 18% to 21%, respectively. The processability of the material was effectively improved by the introduction of biphenyl group into polymer backbone.展开更多

Through varying n bridge length from monofluorene to bifluorene and end-cappers from hydrogen to carbazole and diphenylamine, the emission color of the resulting polymers covers from deep blue to greenish blue, and their HOMO and LUMO levels can be modulated to facilitate charge injection to improve the device performance. Polymer light- emitting diodes (PLEDs) are fabricated with the device structure of ITO/poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene):poly(styrene sulfonic acid) (PEDOT:PSS) (50 nm)/polymer (80 nm)/Ca (10 nm)/Al (200 nm). Among these polymers, P2Cz5F-Py with bifluorene bridge and carbazole end-capper shows excellent trade-off between the efficiency and emission wavelength, having a peak luminous efficiency as high as 1.26 cd/A and Commission Internationale de L'Eclairage (CIE) coordinates of (0.17,0.17).展开更多
In order to effectively improve the properties of anion exchange membrane(AEM)materials,a series of novel poly(aryl ether nitrile)s with flexible side-chain-type quaternary phosphonium cations(PAEN-TPP-x)were designed...In order to effectively improve the properties of anion exchange membrane(AEM)materials,a series of novel poly(aryl ether nitrile)s with flexible side-chain-type quaternary phosphonium cations(PAEN-TPP-x)were designed and prepared on the basis of considering the influences of polymer backbone,cationic group species and the connection way between the cations and polymer chains.The synthetic method,structure and ion-exchange capacity,water absorption,swelling,hydroxide conductivity and alkaline stability of the obtained AEMs were studied.A comparative study with other reported AEMs was also performed for further exploration of the relationship between the structure and properties.These AEMs with flexible side-chain-type quaternary phosphonium cations displayed good comprehensive properties.Their water uptakes and swelling ratios were in the range of 11.6%–22.7%and 4.4%–7.8%at 60℃,respectively.They had hydroxide conductivity in the range of 28.6–45.8 mS cm^-1 at 60℃.Moreover,these AEMs also exhibited improved alkaline stability,and the hydroxide conductivity for PAEN-TPP-0.35 could remain 82.1%and 80.6%of its initial value at 60 and 90℃in 2 mol L^-1 NaOH solution for480 h,respectively.展开更多

The influence of various reaction parameters including monomer concentration, dehydration time, polymerization temperature and duration, IL's cations and anions nature, upon PAEKs molecular weight was investigated. In addition, the peculiarities of hydrogen-bonding ability of ILs were investigated. The interaction of 2,2-bis(4-hydroxyphenyl) propane (bisphenol A) with ILs has a strong influence on PAEKs synthesis. Various moderate molecular weight PAEKs have been obtained in high yields with molecular weights ranging from 10000 to 18000g mol-1.展开更多

文摘In this paper, the synthesis and crystallization behavior of poly(ether ether ketone ether ketone) (PEEKEK) are reported. PEEKEK was prepared from 4,4'-bis(p-fluorobenzoyl) diphenyl ether (4,4'-FBDE) and hydroquinone along the nucleophilic substitution route. The thermal properties were investigated by using DSC and TGA. The crystallization behavior of PEEKEK under several conditions, i.e., crystallization from the molten state (melt crystallization), crystallization from a quenched sample (cold crystallization) and crystallization induced by exposing glassy sample to methylene chloride (solvent-induced crystallization) has also been investigated. The results show that crystallization of PEEKEK could be induced by the above methods, and no polymorphism was found. The differences in the crystallization of PEEKEK induced by the above methods are seen in their degree of crystallinity.

文摘Two novel heterocylic diamine monomers: l,2-dihydro-2-(4-aminophenyl)-4-4-(4-aminophenoxy) phenyl]-(2H)-phthalazin-l-one and 1,2-Dihydro-2-( 4-aminophenyl )-4-[4-(4-aminophenoxy-3, 5-dimethylphenyl]-(2H)-phthalazin-1-one were successfully synthesized using readily available heterocyclic bisphenol-like monomers through two steps in high yield. A series of novel poly(aryl ether amide)s containing the phthalazinone moiety with inherent viscosities of 1.16–1.67 dL/g were prepared by the direct polymerization of the novel diamines and aromatic dicarboxylic acids using triphenyl phosphite and pyridine as condensing agents. The polymers were readily soluble in a variety of solvents such as N,N -dimethylformamide (DMF), N,N-dimethylacetamide (DMAc), dimethylsulfoxide ( DMSO ), N-methyl-2-pyrrolidinone (NMP), and pyridine. The polymers had high glass transition temperatures ( Tg) in the 291–329°C range.

文摘Sulfonated poly(ether ketone)s containing 3,5-dimethyl phthalazinone moieties (SPPEK-DMs) with different degrees of sulfonation (DS) were synthesized via direct polycondensation from 4-(3,5-dimethyl-4-hydroxyphenyl)-2,3- phthalazinone, 4,4'-difluorobenzophenone and 3,3'-disulfonate-4,4'-difluorobenzophenone. The chemical structure of SPPEK-DMs was characterized by FTIR and 1H-NMR. Thermal stability of SPPEK-DMs was characterized by the thermogravimetric analysis. The membranes prepared from SPPEK-DMs exhibited ion exchange capacities (IEC) ranging from 0.93 mmol.g-1 to 1.86 mmol.g-1. Water uptake, swelling, oxidative stability and methanol permeability of SPPEK- DMs membranes were investigated. SPPEK-DMs membranes exhibited high oxidative stability. The methanol permeability values of SPPEK-DMs membranes were in the range 5.15× 10^-8-6.61×10^-7 cm^2.s-1, which was much lower than those of Nafion117. The proton conductivity of SPPEK-DM40 membranes was 1.1 ×10^-2 S.cm^-1 at 70℃.

文摘A series ofpoly(aryl ether sulfone ketone)s containing phthalazinone and biphenyl moieties were synthesized by aromatic nucleophilic displacement polycondensation of 4-(4-hydroxylphenyl)(2H)-phthalazin-l-one (DHPZ), 4,4'- dichlorobenzophenone (DCB), 4,4'-dichlorodiphenyl sulfone (DCS) and 4,4'-biphenol (BP) in different molar ratios. The obtained copolymers were characterized by different instrumental techniques (FTIR, TGA, DSC, WAXD, etc.). The inherent viscosities of these polymers were in the range of 0.43-0.56 dL g^-1. They were amorphous and had good solubility in polar aprotic organic solvents. The copolymers exhibited high glass transition temperatures (TgS) between 225℃ and 256℃and excellent thermal stability up to 517-526℃ (thermal decomposition temperatures for 5% weight loss, Td, 5%) in nitrogen. The tensile strength and elongation at break of the polymers ranged from 63 MPa to 71 MPa and from 18% to 21%, respectively. The processability of the material was effectively improved by the introduction of biphenyl group into polymer backbone.

文摘Novel blue light-emitting poly(aryl ether)s comprising of bipolar oligofluorene pendants as chromophores have been designed and synthesized, in which pyrimidine and arylamine moieties are utilized as the electron acceptor and electron donor, respectively. Through varying n bridge length from monofluorene to bifluorene and end-cappers from hydrogen to carbazole and diphenylamine, the emission color of the resulting polymers covers from deep blue to greenish blue, and their HOMO and LUMO levels can be modulated to facilitate charge injection to improve the device performance. Polymer light- emitting diodes (PLEDs) are fabricated with the device structure of ITO/poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene):poly(styrene sulfonic acid) (PEDOT:PSS) (50 nm)/polymer (80 nm)/Ca (10 nm)/Al (200 nm). Among these polymers, P2Cz5F-Py with bifluorene bridge and carbazole end-capper shows excellent trade-off between the efficiency and emission wavelength, having a peak luminous efficiency as high as 1.26 cd/A and Commission Internationale de L'Eclairage (CIE) coordinates of (0.17,0.17).

文摘In order to effectively improve the properties of anion exchange membrane(AEM)materials,a series of novel poly(aryl ether nitrile)s with flexible side-chain-type quaternary phosphonium cations(PAEN-TPP-x)were designed and prepared on the basis of considering the influences of polymer backbone,cationic group species and the connection way between the cations and polymer chains.The synthetic method,structure and ion-exchange capacity,water absorption,swelling,hydroxide conductivity and alkaline stability of the obtained AEMs were studied.A comparative study with other reported AEMs was also performed for further exploration of the relationship between the structure and properties.These AEMs with flexible side-chain-type quaternary phosphonium cations displayed good comprehensive properties.Their water uptakes and swelling ratios were in the range of 11.6%–22.7%and 4.4%–7.8%at 60℃,respectively.They had hydroxide conductivity in the range of 28.6–45.8 mS cm^-1 at 60℃.Moreover,these AEMs also exhibited improved alkaline stability,and the hydroxide conductivity for PAEN-TPP-0.35 could remain 82.1%and 80.6%of its initial value at 60 and 90℃in 2 mol L^-1 NaOH solution for480 h,respectively.

文摘Poly(aryl ether ketone)s (PAEKs) were successfully synthesized via nucleophilic aromatic substitution (SNAR) mechanism, using ionic liquids as green reaction media. The influence of various reaction parameters including monomer concentration, dehydration time, polymerization temperature and duration, IL's cations and anions nature, upon PAEKs molecular weight was investigated. In addition, the peculiarities of hydrogen-bonding ability of ILs were investigated. The interaction of 2,2-bis(4-hydroxyphenyl) propane (bisphenol A) with ILs has a strong influence on PAEKs synthesis. Various moderate molecular weight PAEKs have been obtained in high yields with molecular weights ranging from 10000 to 18000g mol-1.

文摘A phthalazinone monomer with an allyl group, i.e. 4-(3-allyl-4-hydroxyphenyl)phthalazin-1(2H)-one, was synthesized and then copolymerized with 4-(4-hydroxylphenyl)(2H)-phthalazin-1-one and 2,6- diflurobenzonitrile by means of aromatic nucleophilic polycondensation to provide a series of crosslinkable poly(aryl ether nitrile)s. The virgin copolymers exhibited good solubility in polar organic solvents with relative high molecular weights (Mw: 45,130-58,403, inherent viscosities: 0.58-0.75 dL/ g). After cross-linking, the thermal stability and solvent resistance of the polymer increased.
