The F2 design was used in construction of the pig resource population, and 14 economic important traits of 119 F2 offspring were measured. The polymorphisms of heart fatty acid binding protein gene (H-FABP) were detected by PCR-RFLP. The effects of different H-FABP genotypes were analyzed by a fixed model. The results showed that, the carcass composition traits were affected by H-FABP gene significantly, backfat thickness alive, carcass backfat thickness between 6th - 7th rib, and average carcass backfat thickness, of different H-FABP genotypes were significantly different (P<0. 05). The dominant effects on the traits demonstrated that the gene affected the carcass composition traits overdominantly. The results also showed that H-FABP gene affected the growth traits and meat quality traits, and the pH, of different H-FABP genotypes was significantly different. 展开更多

A resource population constructed by F2 design with Landrace and Chinese indigenous Lantangpigs was used in this study. Seven microsatellite DNA markers on chromosome 6 and USDA2.6 piggenetic linkage map were used for interval QTL mapping. The results revealed that at theposition of 38-41 cM there was a chromosome-wide highly significant QTL affecting carcassbackfat A thickness (P < 0.01), which was closely linked with MN007 and the ratio of QTL addi-tive variance to F2 phenotypic variance was 5.90%. At the position of 60-70 cM there were twochromosome-wide significant QTLs affecting carcass lean percentage (P < 0.01) and skin and fatpercentage (P < 0.05), which were closely linked with MN003 and the ratio of QTL additivevariance to F2 phenotypic variance were 18.44 and 3.75%, respectively. At the same position,there was a single-point QTL also closely linked with MN003 and highly significantly (P < 0.01)affecting carcass lean. In addition, there were two chromosome-wide highly significant (P < 0.01)QTLs affecting meat color and marbling, which were closely linked with MN13 at the positionof 70-75 cM and the ratio of QTL additive variance to F2 phenotypic variance were 14.05and 1.77%, respectively. 展开更多

Assessment of the Water Resources Carrying Capacity in the Great Dunhuang Region 被引量:2

Water resources carrying capacity(WRCC) is an important index for assessing the coordinated development relationship between population and water resources. The quantitative evaluation of WRCC can provide an important... Water resources carrying capacity(WRCC) is an important index for assessing the coordinated development relationship between population and water resources. The quantitative evaluation of WRCC can provide an important basis for water resource regulation and sustainable economic and social development. Based on the statistical data of cities and counties in the Great Dunhuang Region(GDR), and taking counties as the basic units,this study quantitatively analyzed the WRCC and carrying status of the GDR under different water inflow conditions and policy constraints from 2010 to 2017. The study revealed three main trends.(1) From 2010 to 2017, the WRCC of the GDR increased year by year, from 343700, 315900 and 291100 people to 458700, 415400 and 375600people in normal, dry and extremely dry years, respectively.(2) Under policy constraints, the WRCC of the GDR increased year by year from 309400 people in 2010 to 412400 people in 2017. Based on future estimates, the WRCC of the GDR are expected to be 326600 people in 2020 and 341200 people in 2030.(3) From 2010 to 2017,the water resources carrying index of the GDR was decreasing, and it decreased from 1.05, 1.14 and 1.24 to 0.80,0.88 and 0.97 in normal, dry and extremely dry years, respectively. The carrying status changed from critical overload to balanced. Although the WRCC and the carrying status of the GDR had significantly improved by 2017, the overall upper limit of the carrying capacity is not high. Therefore, efforts should be made to improve the utilization efficiency of water resources in order to maintain the sustainable utilization of water resources in the GDR. 展开更多
