Thebiochemicalandvirologicalefficaciesofrecombinantalpha-2bin-terferon(rINFα-2b)wereobservedon30patientswithpostransfusionhepatitisC.Theresultsshowedthatupto3monthsaftertheendoftherapytheALTnormalizationratewas72%andHCV-RNAdisappearanceratewas53.3%.Theresponsepredictoranal-ysisrevealedthatpatients′sex,ageandthedurationbetweenclinicalonsetandbegin-ningofIFNtherapywerenotmeaningfulfactors,whiletheinitialtiterofHCV-RNAandthedurationbetwenblodtransfusionandclinicalonsetbothafectedtheefficacysignificantly.HCVgenotypingshowedthat30patientswerealinfectedwithHCVgenotypeⅡ,indicatingthattheresponsetoIFNcouldbeinconsistentevenamongpa-tientswhoinfectedwithsamegenotypeofHCV.ItwasalsofoundthatthediscrepancybetwenbiochemicalandvirologicalresponsestoINFexistedandthatanti-HCVdetect-edbythesecondgenerationkitwasoflitlevalueinevaluatingtheeficacyofINFtherapy. 展开更多
