The crystal belongs to orthorhombic, space group Pbca with a = 0.74040(15), b = 0.74960(15), c = 4.2620(9) nm, V = 2.3654(8) nm^3, Mr = 346.24, Dc = 1.945 g/cm^3, Z = 8, F(000) = 1376, μ(MoKa) = 4.005mm^-1, GOOF = 1.021, R = 0.0471 and wR = 0.0872. In the crystal, the potassium ion is typically eight-coordinated, surrounded by eight O atoms from six (E)-2-(5-bromo-2-hydroxy-benzyli-deneamino)ethanesulfonate anions. The neighboring potassium ions are bridged by sulfonate groups into a two-dimensional layer structure, above and below which the 5-bromo-2-hydroxy-benzene rings are protruded. The activity against acetaminophen-induced hepatotoxicity of this complex was also studied, and found it can protect liver from hepatotoxicity induced by acetaminophen (AAP) to some extent.展开更多

The complex is a centrosymmetric plane in which nickel(Ⅱ) is coordinated in a regular octahedron to the ligand phenytoin through the nitrogen atoms of ethylenediamine, imine and amine. The complex was valued for its antimicrobial activity against bacterial strands using the agar diffusion method, and found to be active against the four test bacterial organisms. Preliminary screening for antimicrobial activities showed that the title complex is quite active against standard strains of Salmonella species, Staphylococcus aureus, Bacillus pumilus and Eschierichia coli.展开更多

In each unit of the complex, two Cu2+ ions coordinated with two triazole ligands to form a dimeric [5,6,5] tricyclic structure. The central Cu atom is five-coordinated, and each copper atom shows a square pyramidal geometry. The crystal structure is stabilized by the inversion-related O-H…O hydrogen bond and C-H…O hydrogen bonding interactions to form a layer structure. Fluorescent spectra show an obvious quenching of fluorescence compared with free 1,2,3-triazole ligand. The results of agarose gel electrophoresis indicate that this complex can cleave the plasmid supercoiled DNA within shorter time in the 50-folds excess of ascorbate under physiological conditions, providing a new example in the research for artificial metal nucleic acid enzyme.展开更多

They were characterized by IR and single-crystal X-ray diffraction. Green block crystals of both ligand and its complex were grown at room temperature. The ligand, which consists of two individual fragments, crystalizes in the P1 space group (a = 5.6268(5), b = 10.6892(11) and c = 19.4869(18) A). The complex crystalizes in the P21 space group (a -- 21.4076(18), b = 9.4792(8) and c = 25.287(2) A), which consists of a nickel six-coordinated compound. Every fragment is a distorted octahedron with four oxygen and two nitrogen atoms. The Schiff base ligand (HL) and its complex have been tested in vitro to evaluate their antibacterial activity against bacteria Escherichia Coli and Bacillus subtilis. It is found that the complex has higher activity than the corresponding free Schiff base ligand (HL) against the same bacterial.展开更多

The complex crystallizes in orthorhombic s...[Zn(L)(CH3OH)3](H2L = N-(1-phenyl-3-methyl-4-propenylidene-5-pyrazolone)-salicylidene hydrazide) has been synthesized by the reaction of zinc nitrate and ligand H2 L. The complex crystallizes in orthorhombic system, space group Pbca with a = 5.888(15), b = 14.564(14), c = 22.20(2) , V = 5137(8) 3, Z = 8 and F(000) = 2184. The ligand serves as a negative bivalent tridentate chelating agent to coordinate with the central zinc(II) atom. DNA-binding was studied by UV-Vis spectral analysis and ethidium bromide(EB) displacement experiments. The results showed that the DNA-binding constant of the complex is 5.1×104 M–1. Antitumor activity of [Zn(L)(CH3OH)3] and the ligand have been investigated by MTT assay, which indicated that the complex has better cytotoxicity to Eca-109 and He La than free ligand.展开更多

The nickel(Ⅱ ) atom in the compound is four-coordinated with two nitrogen atoms from amide and two oxygen atoms from keto group. The crystal structure determination (monoclinic, P 2t/n, a = 12.2095(8) A, b = 11.3263(8) A, c = 14.0552(7) A, fl = 101.032(3)~, Z = 2) shows the presence of C4S42 - ions with almost undistorted D4h symmetry having C-C bond lengths of 1.442(10) A and 1.478(8) A and C-S bond lengths of 1.651(8) A and 1.664(7) A. Since the K+ ions are shielded in a half-spherical way by the crown ether ligands, the crystal structures is built of centrosymmetric molecular entities [(18-crown-6)K(C4S4)K(18-crown-6)]. The crystal belongs to orthorhombic, space group P212121 with a = 11.395(2), b = 19.395(4), c = 30.675(6) A^°, Mr = 1513.05, V= 6779(2) A^°^3, Dc= 1.482 g/cm^3, F(000) = 3120, μ = 0.873 mm^-1, Z= 4, the final R = 0.0439 and wR = 0.119 for 13421 observed reflections with I〉 2σ(I). The structure of the compound presents a 3-D framework containing Co-bipy 1-D chain and 2-D bilayer motifs and carboxylate spacers, and the connection of 1-D chain and 2-D bilayer motifs by carboxylate ligand results in the final open framework with twofold interpenetration net. A probe reaction of the oxidation of benzaldehyde with H2O2 using the title compound as catalyst was carded out in a liquid-solid system, showing that the compound has high oxidative catalytic activity to the reaction.展开更多

文摘A novel potassium complex KC9H9NO4SBr has been synthesized and characterized by IR spectra and single-crystal X-ray diffraction method. The crystal belongs to orthorhombic, space group Pbca with a = 0.74040(15), b = 0.74960(15), c = 4.2620(9) nm, V = 2.3654(8) nm^3, Mr = 346.24, Dc = 1.945 g/cm^3, Z = 8, F(000) = 1376, μ(MoKa) = 4.005mm^-1, GOOF = 1.021, R = 0.0471 and wR = 0.0872. In the crystal, the potassium ion is typically eight-coordinated, surrounded by eight O atoms from six (E)-2-(5-bromo-2-hydroxy-benzyli-deneamino)ethanesulfonate anions. The neighboring potassium ions are bridged by sulfonate groups into a two-dimensional layer structure, above and below which the 5-bromo-2-hydroxy-benzene rings are protruded. The activity against acetaminophen-induced hepatotoxicity of this complex was also studied, and found it can protect liver from hepatotoxicity induced by acetaminophen (AAP) to some extent.

文摘A new nickel(Ⅱ) complex, C34H38N8NiO4, has been prepared and characterized by X-ray diffraction analysis. It crystallizes in the monoclinic system, space group P21/c with a = 11.715(5), b = 12.328(5), c =11.113(5)A, β= 92.589(5)°, Z = 2, Dc = 1.411 g/cm^3,μ = 0.658 mml, the final R = 0.0427 and wR = 0.1099 for 2229 observed reflections with I 〉 2σ(I). The complex is a centrosymmetric plane in which nickel(Ⅱ) is coordinated in a regular octahedron to the ligand phenytoin through the nitrogen atoms of ethylenediamine, imine and amine. The complex was valued for its antimicrobial activity against bacterial strands using the agar diffusion method, and found to be active against the four test bacterial organisms. Preliminary screening for antimicrobial activities showed that the title complex is quite active against standard strains of Salmonella species, Staphylococcus aureus, Bacillus pumilus and Eschierichia coli.

In the molecular structure of 1, the Ni^Ⅱ atoms are six-coordinated by two N and two O atoms from two Schiff base ligands (LI) and two N atoms from two pyridine solvent molecules to form a distorted octahedral geometry. The cytotoxic activities of complex 1 have been experimentally studied against a human HeLa cell in vitro.

The compound crystallizes in triclinic system, space group P1 with a = 9.591, b = 10.508, c = 15.515A,β = 75.11°, V= 1446.2 A3, Z= 2, Mr = 683.62, Dc = 1.570 g/cm3, μ = 1.531 mm^-1, F(000) = 700, the final R = 0.0404 and wR = 0.1130 for 5327 observed reflections with I 〉 2σ(I). In each unit of the complex, two Cu2+ ions coordinated with two triazole ligands to form a dimeric [5,6,5] tricyclic structure. The central Cu atom is five-coordinated, and each copper atom shows a square pyramidal geometry. The crystal structure is stabilized by the inversion-related O-H…O hydrogen bond and C-H…O hydrogen bonding interactions to form a layer structure. Fluorescent spectra show an obvious quenching of fluorescence compared with free 1,2,3-triazole ligand. The results of agarose gel electrophoresis indicate that this complex can cleave the plasmid supercoiled DNA within shorter time in the 50-folds excess of ascorbate under physiological conditions, providing a new example in the research for artificial metal nucleic acid enzyme.

Trypan blue dye exclusion method was used in experiment. X-ray single-crystal analysis has revealed that compound 1 (C32H32Cu2O10) crystallizes in the monoclinic system, space group C2/c, Mr = 703.66, a = 47.340(5), b = 6.6613(4), c = 22.028(2)A,β = 113.284(4)°, V = 6380.6(10) A^3, Z = 8, Dc= 1.465 g/cm^3, F(000) = 2896,μ = 1.388 mm^-11, the final R = 0.0515 and wR = 0.1172 for 5712 observed reflections with I 〉 2σ(I). X-ray crystal structure analysis suggests that compound [CH2(C7H5O2)4(C2H6O)2] has a binuclear structure with two Cu(II) atoms coordinated by four benzoate groups and two ethanol molecules. The crystal packing is stabilized by intermolecular O-H...O hydrogen bonds. The compound inhibits the proliferation of K562 cells (chronic myeloid leukemic cells) significantly and dose-dependently in 48 h, and IC50 of K562 is 17.3μg/mL by trypan blue dye exclusion method.

Complex 2 crystallizes in monoclinic, space group P2_1/c with a = 11.8790(8), b = 14.3038(10), c = 15.9905(11) ?, β = 101.291(2)°, V = 2664.4(3) ?3, Z = 4, D_c = 1.722 Mg/m^3, μ = 3.913 mm^(-1), F(000) = 1352, the final R = 0.0682 and wR = 0.1914 for 15113 observed reflections(I > 2σ(I)), R(all data) = 0.0970, w R(all data) = 0.2115, completeness to theta of 25.00 is 100.0% and GOOF = 1.035. Influenced by the electron-withdrawing bromo groups, the Pd-PEPPSI complex(2) showed high catalytic activity for the Suzuki-Miyaura cross-coupling reactions of aryl chlorides and arylboronic acids with a low catalyst loading(0.05 mol%) at room temperature in air.

文摘A hydrazone compound 3-chloro-N'-(3,5-dichloro-2-hydroxybenzylidene)benzo-hydrazide(H2L) derived from the condensation of 3,5-dichlorosalicylaldehyde with 3-chloro-benzohydrazide and its oxovanadium(V) complex [VOL(CH3OH)(OCH3)] have been successfully prepared and characterized by physico-chemical methods and single-crystal X-ray diffraction.The hydrazone ligand coordinates to the V atom through the phenolate O,imine N,and enolic O atoms.The V atom is hexa-coordinated in a distorted octahedral geometry.The antimicrobial activities(MIC) of the hydrazone ligand and the oxovanadium(V) complex have been evaluated against the bacteria Staphylococcus aureus,Baccilus subtilis,Pseudomonas aeruginosa,and Escherichia coli.

It crystallizes in triclinic, space group Pī with α = 8.5707(9), b = 10.5083(12), c = 11.4878(13) A, α = 76.197(2), β = 88.271(2), γ = 87.855(2)o, V = 1003.81(19) A3, Z = 1, F(000) = 478, Dc = 1.544 Mg/m3, Mr = 933.60, μ = 1.383 mm^-1, the final R = 0.0669 and wR = 0.1486 for 3675 observed reflections with I 〉 2σ(I). Its catechol oxidase mimic activity was studied spectroscopically by using 3,5-di-tert-butylcatechol (3,5-DTBC) as the substrate. The results showed that the kinetics of catechol catalyzed by the complex accorded with the Michaelis-Mentent equation, and the catechol oxidase catalytic activity of the complex increased with increasing the pH values.

文摘Two new mononuclear complexes, namely [Co(L)2](1) and [Mn(L)2](2)(HL = N-(3-methylsalicylidene)tryptamine), have been synthesized by the reactions of the ligand with cobalt acetate or manganese acetate in anhydrous ethanol. The crystal structures of the complexes were characterized by IR spectrum, elemental analysis, PXRD and single-crystal X-ray diffraction analysis. Complex 1 crystallizes in monoclinic, space group C2/c, with a = 23.146(2), b = 9.4864(10), c = 13.9261(15)A, β = 102.898(2)°, V = 2980.6(5) ?3, Z = 4, Dc = 1.367 g/cm3, F(000) = 1284 and μ = 0.616 mm^-1. Complex 2 crystallizes in monoclinic, space group P21/n, with a = 14.807(11), b = 13.118(10), c = 16.663(13) A, β = 111.237(14)°, V = 3017(4) A^3, Z = 4, Dc = 1.342 g/cm^3, F(000) = 1276 and μ = 0.477 mm-1. The units of complex 1 are linked by intermolecular N–H…π hydrogen bonds into infinite 1D chains, which are further extended into a 3D supramolecular structure by a series of π···π stacking interactions. The units of complex 2 are linked by intermolecular N–H…π hydrogen bonds and C–H…π hydrogen bonds into an infinite 3D supramolecular structure. Meanwhile, the antibacterial activities of the ligand and its complexes have been tested against four kinds of bacteria. The results show that the three compounds all have excellent antibacterial activities and that 1 and 2 possess stronger inhibiting effects against the bacteria than the Schiff base.
文摘A complex [NIL2] was synthesized, in which L, or to be exact, a Schiff base ligand (HL), was derived from the condensation of 1-phenyl-3-methyl-4-phenylacetyl-5-pyrazolone (PMPAP) with L-phenylalanine methyl ester. They were characterized by IR and single-crystal X-ray diffraction. Green block crystals of both ligand and its complex were grown at room temperature. The ligand, which consists of two individual fragments, crystalizes in the P1 space group (a = 5.6268(5), b = 10.6892(11) and c = 19.4869(18) A). The complex crystalizes in the P21 space group (a -- 21.4076(18), b = 9.4792(8) and c = 25.287(2) A), which consists of a nickel six-coordinated compound. Every fragment is a distorted octahedron with four oxygen and two nitrogen atoms. The Schiff base ligand (HL) and its complex have been tested in vitro to evaluate their antibacterial activity against bacteria Escherichia Coli and Bacillus subtilis. It is found that the complex has higher activity than the corresponding free Schiff base ligand (HL) against the same bacterial.
文摘Two new zinc(Ⅱ) complexes, [Zn2L2Ch].2[ZnL(CH3OH)Cl2] 1 and [ZnL2(NO3)2] 2, were synthesized by reacting ZnX2.nH2O (X = Cl^-, NO3^-) and a Schiff base ligand 2-[(4-methylphenylimino)methyl]-6-methoxyphenol (C15HIsNO2, L) which was obtained by the condensation of o-vanillin (2-hydroxy-3-methoxybenzaldehyde) with p-toluidine. Both 1 and 2 were characterized by single-crystal X-ray diffraction technique, elemental analysis, molar conductance, FT-IR, UV-Vis, IH-NMR spectra and thermogravimetrie analysis. The Schiff base ligand and its zinc(Ⅱ) complexes have been tested in vitro to evaluate their antibacterial activity against bacteria, viz., Escherichia Coli, Staphylococcus aureus and Bacillus Subtilis. The results show that these complexes have higher activity than the corresponding free Schiff base ligand against the same bacteria.

文摘[Zn(L)(CH3OH)3](H2L = N-(1-phenyl-3-methyl-4-propenylidene-5-pyrazolone)-salicylidene hydrazide) has been synthesized by the reaction of zinc nitrate and ligand H2 L. The complex crystallizes in orthorhombic system, space group Pbca with a = 5.888(15), b = 14.564(14), c = 22.20(2) , V = 5137(8) 3, Z = 8 and F(000) = 2184. The ligand serves as a negative bivalent tridentate chelating agent to coordinate with the central zinc(II) atom. DNA-binding was studied by UV-Vis spectral analysis and ethidium bromide(EB) displacement experiments. The results showed that the DNA-binding constant of the complex is 5.1×104 M–1. Antitumor activity of [Zn(L)(CH3OH)3] and the ligand have been investigated by MTT assay, which indicated that the complex has better cytotoxicity to Eca-109 and He La than free ligand.

文摘Two hydrazone ligands (E)-N'-(2-hydroxy-5-methoxybenzylidene)-2-hydroxybenzo- hydrazide (HLa) and (E)-N'-(3,5-dichloro-2- hydroxybenzylidene)-4-methoxybenzohydrazide (HLb) were prepared and characterized by IR, UV-Vis and 1H NMR spectra. Based on the hydrazone ligands, two new structurally similar vanadium(V) complexes, [VOLaL].CH3OH (1) and [vOLbL] (2), where L is the monoanionic form of benzohydroxamic acid (HL), were prepared and characterized by IR and UV-Vis spectra, and single-crystal X-ray diffraction. Complex 1 crystallizes as the monoclinic space group P21/n, with a = 7.5208(10), b = 15.490(2), c = 20.8929(18) A, β = 96.373(2)°, V = 2418.9(5) A3, Z = 4, R = 0.0831, wR = 0.2607 and GOOF = 1.061. Complex 2 crystallizes as the monoclinic space group P21/c, with a = 11.8577(18), b = 16.468(2), c = 12.2288(18) A, β = 106.064(2)°, V= 2294.7(6) A3, Z = 4, R= 0.0741, wR= 0.1745 and GOOF= 1.014. X-ray analysis indicates that the complexes are mononuclear vanadium (V) species, with the V atoms located in the octahedral coordination. The hydrazone ligands and the complexes were evaluated for their antibacterial (Bacillus subtilis, Staphylococcus aureus, Escherichia coli, and Pseudomonas fluorescence) and antifungal (Candida albicans and Aspergillus niger) activities by MTT (3-(4,5-dimethylthiazol-2-yl)-2,5-diphenyl tetrazolium bromide) method.

文摘An unsymmetrical macrocyclic dinuclear Zn(II) complex, [Zn2(H0.5L)(OAc)](ClO4)1.5(1, H2 L is the condensation product between 2, 6-diformyl-4-methylphenol and diethylenetriamine), was obtained and characterized by IR spectrum, elemental analysis and X-ray single-crystal diffraction. The complex crystallizes in monoclinic, space group P21/c with a = 16.784(2), b = 19.474(3), c = 10.3364(13)A, β = 92.923(2)°, V = 3374.1(7) A3, Z = 4, Dc = 1.672 g/cm^3, F(000) = 1740, μ = 1.651 mm^-1, the R = 0.0609 and wR = 0.1696 for 4745 observed reflections(I 〉 2σ(I)). The interactions of the complex with DNA have been measured by electrochemical studies, UV spectroscopy and viscosity experiment. The interactions of the complex with calf thymus DNA were studied by UV-vis spectra and the binding constant is 1.58 × 10^4 mol·L^-1. The phosphate hydrolysis catalyzed by the complex was investigated using 4-nitrophenyl phosphate(NPP) as the substrate; the observed first order rate constant value is 3.0 × 10^–4 s^-1.

Both 1 and 2 are four-coordinated complexes, with a square-planar geometry of copper(Ⅱ) in 1 and a slightly distorted tetrahedral geometry of zinc(Ⅱ) in 2. An asymmetric unit consists of only one half of a Cu ion and one L ligand in 1, while an asymmetric unit is composed of one Zn ion, two L ligands and three water molecules in 2. Non-classical C-H···O and C-H F hydrogen bonds play important roles in the formation of a 1D chain of 1, but O-H O and O-H N hydrogen bonds play dominant roles in the self-assembly of a 3D network of 2. The antibacterial activities of 1 and 2 against B. subtilis, S. aureus, S. faecalis, P. aeruginosa, E. coli and E. cloacae have been evaluated by MTT method.

文摘In the ethanol solvent, a nickel(Ⅱ) complex Ni(C12H10N2O2S)2 upon reaction of 2'-(2-thienylidene)-hydroxybenzoylhydrazide with nickel acetate was synthesized, and its structure was characterized by IR, UV, elemental analysis and X-ray diffraction analysis. The crystal belongs to monoclinic system, space group C2/c with a = 22.052(3), b = 5.9681(6), c = 18.522(2)A , β = 110.679(4)°, V = 2280.6(4)A^3, Z = 4, Mr = 551.27, μ = 1.606 mm^-1, Dc = 1.075 g/cm^3, F(000) = 1136 and Rint = 0.0556. The nickel(Ⅱ ) atom in the compound is four-coordinated with two nitrogen atoms from amide and two oxygen atoms from keto group. The biological activities have been measured, show- ing the compound exhibits better anti-bacterial activity than the ligand.
文摘Slow diffusion of diethylether into a concentrated solution of K2C454.H20 and two equivalents of 18-crown-6 in pyridine affords dark orange crystals of bis(potassium{18-crown-6})(3-cyclobutene-1,2-dithione-3,4-dithiolate) [K(C12H2406)]2(CnS4). The crystal structure determination (monoclinic, P 2t/n, a = 12.2095(8) A, b = 11.3263(8) A, c = 14.0552(7) A, fl = 101.032(3)~, Z = 2) shows the presence of C4S42 - ions with almost undistorted D4h symmetry having C-C bond lengths of 1.442(10) A and 1.478(8) A and C-S bond lengths of 1.651(8) A and 1.664(7) A. Since the K+ ions are shielded in a half-spherical way by the crown ether ligands, the crystal structures is built of centrosymmetric molecular entities [(18-crown-6)K(C4S4)K(18-crown-6)]. The K+ ions have eight of coordination number, C4S42- acts as a chelating and bridging ligand towards two K+ with K-S distances of 3.434(2) A and 3.380(2) A.

文摘A novel organic-inorganic hybrid compound constructed from mixed ligands, Co3(SIP)2(bipy)4(H2O)6·6.5H2O (H3SIP = 5-sulfoisophthalic acid, bipy = 4,4′-bipyridyl), has been hydrothermally synthesized and characterized by IR, TGA and single-crystal X-ray diffraction. The crystal belongs to orthorhombic, space group P212121 with a = 11.395(2), b = 19.395(4), c = 30.675(6) A^°, Mr = 1513.05, V= 6779(2) A^°^3, Dc= 1.482 g/cm^3, F(000) = 3120, μ = 0.873 mm^-1, Z= 4, the final R = 0.0439 and wR = 0.119 for 13421 observed reflections with I〉 2σ(I). The structure of the compound presents a 3-D framework containing Co-bipy 1-D chain and 2-D bilayer motifs and carboxylate spacers, and the connection of 1-D chain and 2-D bilayer motifs by carboxylate ligand results in the final open framework with twofold interpenetration net. A probe reaction of the oxidation of benzaldehyde with H2O2 using the title compound as catalyst was carded out in a liquid-solid system, showing that the compound has high oxidative catalytic activity to the reaction.
