The optimized approach is given in the parameters design for passive filter. In contemporary power grids or microgrids,harmonic distortion has emerged as one of the critical power quality issues for utility power grids,which has escalated especially due to the high penetration of power-electronic-converter-interfaced distributed generation(DG).This paper first illustrates the prevalent dispute revolving around the harmonic power sharing and distortion restraint,and subsequently proposes a consensusbased framework that facilitates an accurate sharing of harmonics among multi-DGs connected in parallel,with an effective suppression of the output voltage distortion.Compared with the majority of existing studies addressing the issue of voltage harmonics at the point of common coupling(PCC),our method primarily emphasizes on the output voltage distortion since the power quality requirement for certain local critical loads is often known to be high.With the help of adaptive regulation,the overall distortion produced at the output terminals of DGs can be retained within an acceptable range.The working principle of the proposed control method,which is not only easy to implement but also independent of model parameters,is further described in detail.Employing the small-signal dynamic model,the system stability and robustness are analyzed.The hardware-in-the-loop(HIL)simulations aid in determining the outcome of the proposed strategy in microgrid control. 展开更多

This paper discusses a number of ways in which wind power installations can impact the harmonic levels in the power system.Wind turbines are an additional source of harmonic emission,especially when it concerns"non-characteristic harmonics."Parallel resonances can amplify the emission from individual turbines.A mathematical model is developed to quantify this amplification.Series resonances can result in high currents,driven by the background voltage distortion in the transmission grid,flowing into thewind park.Weakening of the transmission grid will increase lower order harmonics but reduce higher order harmonics. 展开更多

The high proportion of nonlinear and unbalanced loads results in power quality issues in islanded microgrids.This paper presents a novel control strategy for harmonic and unbalanced power allocation among distributed genera-tors(DGs)in microgrids.Different from the existing sharing strategies that allocate the harmonic and unbalanced power according to the rated capacities of DGs,the proposed control strategy intends to shape the lowest output impedances of DGs to optimize the power quality of the microgrid.To achieve this goal,the feasible range of virtual impedance is analyzed in detail by eigenvalue analysis,and the findings suggest a simultaneous adjustment of real and imaginary parts of virtual impedance.Because virtual impedance is an open-loop control that imposes DG to the risk of overload,a new closed-loop structure is designed that uses residual capacity and absorbed power as feedback.Accordingly,virtual impedance can be safely adjusted in the feasible range until the power limit is reached.In addi-tion,a fuzzy integral controller is adopted to improve the dynamics and convergence of the power distribution,and its performance is found to be superior to linear integral controllers.Finally,simulations and control hardware-in-the-loop experiments are conducted to verify the effectiveness and usefulness of the proposed control strategy. 展开更多
