The steam turbine is a prime mover that converts kinetic energy in steam into rotational mechanical energy through the impact or reaction of the steam against the blades. The aim of this study is to design a steam turbine for a small scale steam power plant with target of producing electricity. The turbine is driven by the heat energy from palm kernel shells as a renewable energy source obtained at a lower or no cost. The study was concentrated on design of turbine elements and its validation using computer packages. Specifically, the microturbine design was limited to design, modeling, simulation and analysis of the rotor, blades and nozzle under the palm kernel shell as fuel for the micro power plant. In blade design, stress failures, efficiency and blade angle parameters were considered. In casing volume design, the overall heat transfer and mean temperature, and different concepts were applied. The thermal distribution on stator and rotor was considered in order to determine its level of tolerance. The design software packages used for design validation were Solidworks and Comsol Multiphysics for analysis. Simulation results showed that the designed steam turbine can adequately tolerate change in stress/load, torsion/compression, temperature and speeds. 展开更多

An intelligent design software system for the power station pipe-prefabrication (PPDS) has been developed in the paper,which is taking pipe material database as core and developed on the platform of AutoCAD and Borland C++. Whereas design and construction of power plants in China belong to different deportments,the input and recognition problem of pipeline system disposition chart must be solved firstly for the prefabrication design.Based on AI technology,the model fast building subsystem (MFBS) was established for entering the 3-D pipeline graph data,so that the problems of reconstruction of pipeline digital model and computer identification of original 2-D design data can be solved. The optimization design scheme in the pipe-prefabrication process has been studied and also the corresponding algorithm put forward.The technique and system mentioned can effectively raise the pipe-prefabrication design quality and efficiency in the con- struction of large scale power plants,reduce the period of design and the waste of raw material.PPCADS has still offered the functions such as the construction design for pipeline prefabricated process,the detailing drawing for manufacturing pipe section and automatic generating the technical files for the completed project. 展开更多

The anti-seismic standards provide two basic m... : Consideration of the dynamic effects of the site and structural parameter uncertainty is required by the standards for nuclear power plants (NPPs) in most countries. The anti-seismic standards provide two basic methods to analyze parameter uncertainty. Directly manually dealing with the calculated floor response spectra (FRS) values of deterministic approaches is the first method. The second method is to perform probability statistical analysis of the FRS results on the basis of the Monte Carlo method. The two methods can only reflect the overall effects of the uncertain parameters, and the results cannot be screened for a certain parameter's influence and contribution. In this study, based on the dynamic analyses of the floor response spectra of NPPs, a comprehensive index of the assessed impact for various uncertain parameters is presented and recommended, including the correlation coefficient, the regression slope coefficient and Tornado swing. To compensate for the lack of guidance in the NPP seismic standards, the proposed method can effectively be used to evaluate the contributions of various parameters from the aspects &sensitivity, acuity and statistical swing correlations. Finally, examples are provided to verify the set of indicators from systematic and intuitive perspectives, such as the uncertainty of the impact of the structure parameters and the contribution to the FRS of NPPs. The index is sensitive to different types of parameters, which provides a new technique for evaluating the anti-seismic parameters required for NPPs. 展开更多

Linked with the flow structure and dynamic characteristic of electricity generation subsystem and its components, a simulation model is proposed. Thermo-dynamical performance on off-design conditions have been analyzed with constant air mass flux and constant gas combustion temperature. Some simulation diagrams of curve are plotted too. 为适应新型电力系统的多能互补需求,本文以李家峡水电站水轮机适用多能互补改造为研究对象,对多能互补系统中的常规水电站机组进行了深化设计研究,提出了水轮机改造深化设计理念,阐明了多能互补系统要求下机组的运行加权因子计算方法,... 为适应新型电力系统的多能互补需求,本文以李家峡水电站水轮机适用多能互补改造为研究对象,对多能互补系统中的常规水电站机组进行了深化设计研究,提出了水轮机改造深化设计理念,阐明了多能互补系统要求下机组的运行加权因子计算方法,并提出了机组改造深化设计的水力设计目标,为水轮机改造的深化设计提供了方向指导。根据水轮机改造深化设计后的水力模型试验表明:深化设计后的水轮机比前期改造的水轮机(未经过深化设计)在空化、压力脉动和叶片应力水平相当的情况下,有更高的水力模型额定效率和加权平均效率。深化设计后的水轮机不仅满足新型电力系统对水电站电能负荷调节能力的要求,而且机组的水力性能也得到了明显提升,可为类似水电站的水轮机改造设计提供借鉴。 展开更多

核电站事故环境对环氧涂层理化性能的影响

以双酚A型环氧树脂和聚酰胺固化剂为主原料制备了环氧涂层,分别研究了核电站设计基准事故(DBA)和严重事故环境对其理化性能的影响。利用红外光谱(FTIR)对试验后的样品结构进行了对比分析,样品在辐照试验后检测出了苯醌结构的特征吸收峰... 以双酚A型环氧树脂和聚酰胺固化剂为主原料制备了环氧涂层,分别研究了核电站设计基准事故(DBA)和严重事故环境对其理化性能的影响。利用红外光谱(FTIR)对试验后的样品结构进行了对比分析,样品在辐照试验后检测出了苯醌结构的特征吸收峰。采用热重分析仪(TGA)测定了样品试验后的热稳定性参数。通过涂层附着力测试,评价了各试验对碳钢板与环氧涂层黏结强度的影响。结果表明:辐照试验产生苯醌是导致涂层黄变的主要原因;辐照和高温高压处理过程会导致环氧涂层的网络结构重排和断裂,对不同热稳定性参数的影响方向并不完全一致;湿热试验和DBA试验对涂层黏结强度影响较小,而辐照试验和严重事故则会显著降低涂层附着力。 展开更多
