The system is designed into three layers namely the sensor and actuator layer, the PLC field monitoring and control layer and the remote network monitoring and control layer. Through ZigBee wireless network, PROFIBUS and GPRS wireless network, the system makes the three layers exchange information rapidly, and the system supervises not only various operational parameters of the power generating system but also weather changes as a way to change the solar tracking strategy of the PV power generating system and reduce the operating energy consumption of the system. However, vehicles pass with very low rate in specific periods of time and parts of the streets are not occupied by vehicles ov...The huge amount of electrical power of many countries is consumed in lighting the streets. However, vehicles pass with very low rate in specific periods of time and parts of the streets are not occupied by vehicles over time. In this paper, we propose a system that automatically switches off the light for the parts of the streets having no vehicles and turns on the light for these parts once there are some vehicles that are going to come. Logically, this system may save a large amount of the electrical power. In addition, it may increase the lifetime of the lamps and reduce the pollutions. This system automatically controls and monitors the light of the streets. It can light only the parts that have vehicles and help on the maintenance of the lighting equipments. Vehicular Ad-Hoc Networks (VANET) make it possible to propose such system. VANET enables the possibility to know the presence of vehicles, their locations, their directions and their speeds in real time. These quantities are what are needed to develop this system. An advantage of using VANET is that there is no need to use specific network and equipments to design the system, but VANET infrastructure will be used. This decreases the cost and speed up the deployment of such system. This paper focuses on the proposal of different possible architectures of this system. Results show that the saved energy may reach up to 65% and an increase of the lifetime of the lamps of 53%.展开更多

The China Fusion Engineering Test Reactor plans to build a 200 k V/25 A acceleration grid power supply(AGPS)for the negative-ion-based neutral beam injector prototype system.The AGPS uses a rectifier-inverter-isolated...The China Fusion Engineering Test Reactor plans to build a 200 k V/25 A acceleration grid power supply(AGPS)for the negative-ion-based neutral beam injector prototype system.The AGPS uses a rectifier-inverter-isolated step-up structure.There is a DC bus between the rectifier and the inverter.In order to limit DC bus voltage ripple and transient fluctuations,a large number of capacitors are used,which degrades the reliability of the power supply and occupies a large amount of space.This work finds that due to the difference in the turn-off time of the rectifier and the inverter,the capacitance mainly depends on the rectifier current when the inverter is turned off.On this basis,an active power filter(APF)scheme is proposed to absorb the current.To enhance the dynamic response ability of the APF,model predictive control is adopted.In this paper,the circuit structure of the APF is introduced,the prediction model is deduced,the corresponding control strategy and signal detection method are proposed,and the simulation and experimental results show that APF can track the transient current of the DC bus and reduce the voltage fluctuation significantly.展开更多
A novel operation control method for relay protection in flexible DC distribution networks with distributed power supply is proposed to address the issue of inaccurate fault location during relay protection,leading to...A novel operation control method for relay protection in flexible DC distribution networks with distributed power supply is proposed to address the issue of inaccurate fault location during relay protection,leading to poor performance.The method combines a fault-tolerant fault location method based on long-term and short-term memory networks to accurately locate the fault section.Then,an operation control method for relay protection based on adaptive weight and whale optimization algorithm(WOA)is used to construct an objective function considering the shortest relay protection action time and the smallest impulse current.The adaptive weight and WOA are employed to obtain the optimal strategy for relay protection operation control,reducing the action time and impulse current.Experimental results demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed method in accurately locating faults and improving relay protection performance.The longest operation time is reduced by 4.7023 s,and the maximum impulse current is limited to 0.3 A,effectively controlling the impact of large impulse currents and enhancing control efficiency.展开更多

Three key techniques used in this system have been discussed. First, a combined co-phase traction power supply system is applied at traction substations for compensating negative sequence current and eliminating phase splits at exits of substations; design method and procedure for this system are presented. Second, a new bilateral traction power supply technology is proposed to eliminate the phase split at section post and reduce the influence of equalizing current on the power grid. Meanwhile, power factor should be adjusted to ensure a proper voltage level of the traction network. Third, a seg- mental power supply technology of traction network is used to divide the power supply arms into several segments, and the synchronous measurement and control technology is applied to diagnose faults and their locations quickly and accurately. In order to meet the requirement of a wide temperature range and high yields of products, the schematic extracted from the layout is simulated with five process corners at 27℃ and 90℃. In this paper, superconducting tokamaks in different countries are described, and the TF power supply of the International Thermonuclear Experimental Reactor (ITER) is taken as an example to study the current-sharing characteristics in the current-stabilized stage. Firstly, the mathematical model of the TF power supply is established, and then the 3-loop control method is put forward for achieving the stability and reliability of current-stabilization and current-sharing. Furthermore, further studies indicate that the current-sharing controller has no influence on the current-stabilized control, and current-stabilizing and current-sharing can be realized at the same time. All the work done provides valuable references for the current-sharing design of the TF power supply for a superconducting tokamak, and all these studies lay a solid foundation for developing superconducting tokamaks.展开更多

The toroidal field (TF) power supply of this tokamak should provide a current of 160 kA and a flat duration of 500 ms for the toroidal field coils to generate a maximum toroidal field of 3 T at the geometric center of the vaccum vessel. This paper presents a design of a new control system which takes the real-time feedback control option for the TF power supply operation. The system was tested successfully during the commissioning. In the first experimental campaign of J-TEXT, the system effectively controlled the power supply to provide a fiat current up to 92.5 kA and therein the TF produced reached 1.74 T, which enabled the machine to generate the first plasma successfully.展开更多

The draw-out power coil can induce voltage from the transmission line, using single-chip microcomputer to analog and output PMW wave to control the charging module, provides a stable 3.4 V DC voltage to the load, and solve the problem of easy saturating of core. The power supply based on this kind of draw-out power coil has undergone the overall testing, and it is verified-showing that it can properly work in a non-saturated status within the current range of 50 - 1000 A, and provide a stable output. The equipment also design protection circuit to improve the reliability to avid the impacts of the impulse current or short-circuit current. Simultaneously, a simulation analysis has been carried out. All the work done provides valuable references for the current-sharing design of the TF power supply for a superconducting tokamak, and all these studies lay a solid foundation for developing superconducting tokamaks.
文摘Electron cyclotron resonance heating (ECRH) system is one of the most important Tokamak auxiliary heating methods. However, there are growing demands for ECRH system as the physical experiments progress which meanwhile adds the difficulty of designing and building the control system of its power source. In this paper, the method of designing a control system based on Single Chip Microcomputer (SCM) and Field Programmable Gate Array (FPGA) is introduced according to its main requirements. The experimental results show that the control system in this paper achieves the conversion of different working modes, gets exact timing, and realizes the failure protection in 10us thus can be used in the ECRH system.

文摘J-TEXT, formerly TEXT-U at the University of Texas at Austin in USA, is a medium-sized tokamak at the Huazhong University of Science and Technology. The toroidal field (TF) power supply of this tokamak should provide a current of 160 kA and a flat duration of 500 ms for the toroidal field coils to generate a maximum toroidal field of 3 T at the geometric center of the vaccum vessel. This paper presents a design of a new control system which takes the real-time feedback control option for the TF power supply operation. The system was tested successfully during the commissioning. In the first experimental campaign of J-TEXT, the system effectively controlled the power supply to provide a fiat current up to 92.5 kA and therein the TF produced reached 1.74 T, which enabled the machine to generate the first plasma successfully.
文摘This paper uses CT to gain the energy directly from the high-voltage transmission line, to address the problem of power supply for monitoring system in high voltage side of transmission line. The draw-out power coil can induce voltage from the transmission line, using single-chip microcomputer to analog and output PMW wave to control the charging module, provides a stable 3.4 V DC voltage to the load, and solve the problem of easy saturating of core. The power supply based on this kind of draw-out power coil has undergone the overall testing, and it is verified-showing that it can properly work in a non-saturated status within the current range of 50 - 1000 A, and provide a stable output. The equipment also design protection circuit to improve the reliability to avid the impacts of the impulse current or short-circuit current. It effectively solves the problem of power supply for On-line Monitoring System of Transmission.
文摘In recent years,with the rapid development of high-speed railways(HSRs),power interruptions or disturbances in traction power supply systems have become increasingly dangerous.However,it is often impossible to detect these faults immediately through single-point monitoring or collecting data after accidents.To coordinate the power quality data of both traction power supply systems(TPSSs)and high-speed trains(HSTs),a monitoring and assessing system is proposed to access the power quality issues on HSRs.By integrating train monitoring,traction substation monitoring and data center,this monitoring system not only realizes the real-time monitoring of operational behaviors for both TPSSs and HSTs,but also conducts a comprehensive assessment of operational quality for train-network systems.Based on a large number of monitoring data,the field measurements show that this real-time monitoring system is effective for monitoring and evaluating a traction-network system.

文摘As weather radar stations require headroom environment to operate,they were mostly built on highlands which are usually unattended.The mains supply is relatively poor,and the risk of radar stoppages due to power outage is therefore ever-present.As such,the radar construction program is used to build a complementary security video monitoring system.By collecting monitoring images of the regulated power supply in real-time from power supply auto transfer systems in distribution rooms and radar transceiver rooms,using Spearman’s rank correlation coefficient to analyse pixel variation trends,and supplementing statistical analysis of pixel characteristics difference to eliminate misjudgments resulting from low image contrast in special scenarios,a software can be developed through C#.It has the function of automatically monitoring mains supply and alerting staff on duty to handle the power outage in a timely manner via text message so that any potential risk is neutralised before it can cause damage.This monitoring and auto-alerting approach is generally applicable to unattended rooms with large amounts of electronical equipment.

文摘Few applications with electrorheological (ER) fluids have been found in industry. One reason is high voltage power supplies cannot meet the requirement for ER effect. In this paper, an ER control high voltage power supply for engineering application was designed which reduced power wastage by adopting soft switch technology; lessened its volume to satisfy micromation when adopting the planar transformer and improved its response character- istic by choosing an assistant discharging circuit. Simultaneously, a simulation analysis has been carried out. As results, the output voltage of this high voltage power supply is 5 kV, and the voltage can be continuously regulated and the voltage ripple is only 0. 7 %, so the requirement of stability is also achieved.

文摘The redundancy technology for the aircraft multi-channel DC electrical power supply system is studied. In this system, the key loads can obtain power from seven sources. The direct current bus power control unit (DC BPCU) is put forward to manage the power supply system automatically. The redundancy innovation is also applied in both hardware and software of DC BPCU. Furthermore, redundancy fault diagnosis is discussed through the existing parts. Experiments and applications show that the proposed aircraft DC power supply system possesses many advantages of high reliability, high automation and so on.
文摘In order to satisfy the requirement of ECRH for power supply, pulse high voltage ( HV ) power supply has been developed. The main parameters of the power are: output voltage -55 kV, output current 25 -2 A, stability ±0.5%, pulse duration 1 s, the leading edge and lagging edge of the pulse is about 40 μs and so on. On the other hand, the system should have preferable protective capability. In this paper, the hardware and principle of the power supply, hardware, software and arithmetic method of the control system are presented.
