We propose an efficient time scheduling scheme for network performance enhancement, based on which each sensor can always harvest energy from the PB over the entire block except its time slots allocated for passive and active information delivery. Considering the PB and wireless sensors are from two selfish service providers, we use the Stackelberg game to model the energy interaction among them. To address the non-convexity of the leader-level problem, we propose to decompose the original problem into two subproblems and solve them iteratively in an alternating manner. Specifically, the successive convex approximation, semi-definite relaxation(SDR) and variable substitution techniques are applied to find a nearoptimal solution. To evaluate the performance loss caused by the interaction between two providers, we further investigate the social welfare maximization problem. Numerical results demonstrate that compared to the benchmark schemes, the proposed scheme can achieve up to 35.4% and 38.7% utility gain for the leader and the follower, respectively.展开更多

Protection factor is the most critical measure of the performance of a positive pressure bio-protective suit. This study establishes a dynamic detection system for the positive pressure bio-protective suit, to evaluate its safety risks, and explores methods to reduce these risks. A manikin was used to perform human actions, such as raising the arms, sitting, and walking, that were simulated at different levels. Integrity breaches of different shapes and sizes were made to different parts of the suit for evaluation. The aerosol concentration and the pressure of the suit were detected. Positive-pressure suits provide exceptionally good protection even in accident scenarios and provide a greater flexibility and more ergonomic benefits. However, sufficiently large (>3 cm) breaches caused a negative-pressure and an inward airflow during vigorous activities. The location of the breach site on the suit also had a significant effect on bio-aerosol leakage. Studies have shown that effective methods to avoid the risk of damage include increasing the air supply flow and performing gentle movements while wearing the suit. The dynamic detection method and the results obtained in this study are a significant advance to predict and avoid the risks associated with powered air-purifying suits.展开更多

To improve their performance, reduce their size, and increase production efficiency, this paper proposes a multiple staked direct bonded copper(DBC) unit based power module packaging method to parallel more chips. This method utilizes mutual inductance cancellation effect to reduce parasitic inductance. Because the conduction area in the new package is doubled, the overall area of power module can be reduced. Entire power module is divided into smaller units to enhance manufacture yield, and improve design freedom. 文摘The in-core self-powered neutron detector(SPND)acts as a key measuring device for the monitoring of parameters and evaluation of the operating conditions of nuclear reactors.Prompt detection and tolerance of faulty SPNDs are indispensable for reliable reactor management. To completely extract the correlated state information of SPNDs,we constructed a twin model based on a generalized regression neural network(GRNN)that represents the common relationships among overall signals.Faulty SPNDs were determined because of the functional concordance of the twin model and real monitoring sys-tems,which calculated the error probability distribution between the model outputs and real values.Fault detection follows a tolerance phase to reinforce the stability of the twin model in the case of massive failures.A weighted K-nearest neighbor model was employed to reasonably reconstruct the values of the faulty signals and guarantee data purity. The experimental evaluation of the proposed method showed promising results, with excellent output consistency and high detection accuracy for both single-and multiple-point faulty SPNDs.For unexpected excessive failures, the proposed tolerance approach can efficiently repair fault behaviors and enhance the prediction performance of the twin model.
文摘In a rechargeable wireless sensor network, utilizing the unmanned aerial vehicle(UAV)as a mobile base station(BS)to charge sensors and collect data effectively prolongs the network’s lifetime. In this paper,we jointly optimize the UAV’s flight trajectory and the sensor selection and operation modes to maximize the average data traffic of all sensors within a wireless sensor network(WSN)during finite UAV’s flight time, while ensuring the energy required for each sensor by wireless power transfer(WPT).We consider a practical scenario, where the UAV has no prior knowledge of sensor locations. The UAV performs autonomous navigation based on the status information obtained within the coverage area, which is modeled as a Markov decision process(MDP).The deep Q-network(DQN)is employed to execute the navigation based on the UAV position, the battery level state, channel conditions and current data traffic of sensors within the UAV’s coverage area. Our simulation results demonstrate that the DQN algorithm significantly improves the network performance in terms of the average data traffic and trajectory design.

文摘Owing to the persisting hype in pushing toward global carbon neutrality, the study scope of atmospheric science is rapidly expanding.Among numerous trending topics, energy meteorology has been attracting the most attention hitherto. One essential skill of solar energy meteorologists is solar power curve modeling, which seeks to map irradiance and auxiliary weather variables to solar power,by statistical and/or physical means. In this regard, this tutorial review aims to deliver a complete overview of those fundamental scientific and engineering principles pertaining to the solar power curve.Solar power curves can be modeled in two primary ways, one of regression and the other of model chain. Both classes of modeling approaches, alongside their hybridization and probabilistic extensions, which allow accuracy improvement and uncertainty quantification, are scrutinized and contrasted thoroughly in this review.
