The general procedure is shown, and the parameter determination is explained through the applications to this particular case I1/6(x)and I1/7(x). In this way, it shows how to apply the technique to any particular orderν, in order to obtain an approximation valid for any positive value of the variable x. In the present method power series and asymptotic expansion are simultaneously used. The technique is an extension of the multipoint quasirational approximation method, MPQA. The main idea is to look for a bridge function between the power and asymptotic expansion of the I1/6(x), and similar procedure for I1/7(x). To perform this, rational functions are combined with hyperbolic ones and fractional powers. The number of parameters to be determined for each case is four. The maximum relative errors are 0.0049 for ν=1/6, and 0.0047 for ν=7. However, these relative errors decrease outside of the small region of the variables, wherein the maximum relative errors are reached. There is a clear advantage of this procedure compared with any other ones.展开更多

Using the transverse E-field mode matching and the conservation of complex power technique (CCPT), we deduce the scattering matrix at coaxial line to coaxial line and coaxial line to circular waveguide junctions. Then using the overall cascaded junction scattering matrix, the numerical results for the reflection coefficient of the coaxial line and the power distribution of TMon multi-modal are presented. The numerical results are in agreement with HFSS simulation results and experimental results. The analysis shows that by choosing the appropriate position of coaxial line probe, the power proportion of the device operating mode excited in circular waveguide could be the largest.展开更多

Additionally, distributed generations are used for self-consumption with excess energy injected into centralized grids (CGs). However, the improper sizing of renewable energy systems (RESs) exposes the entire system to power losses. This work presents an optimization of a system consisting of distributed generations. Firstly, PSO algorithms evaluate the size of the entire system on the IEEE bus 14 test standard. Secondly, the size of the system is allocated using improved Particles Swarm Optimization (IPSO). The convergence speed of the objective function enables a conjecture to be made about the robustness of the proposed system. The power and voltage profile on the IEEE 14-bus standard displays a decrease in power losses and an appropriate response to energy demands (EDs), validating the proposed method.展开更多

Therefore, most of the problems encountered with traditional measuring techniques are avoided. The temperature dependency of the current shunt from 5oC up to 50oC has been investigated. Its temperature coefficient proves to be negligible which means that the temperature dependency of the solar cell is completely independent of the current shunt. The solar module installed in a tilted position at the optimum angle of the location, has been tested in two different seasons (winter and summer). One of the most issues in WSNs that researchers have proposed a hundred of technique to solve its impact is the energy constraint since sensor nodes have small battery, small memory and less data processing with low computational capabilities. However, many researches efforts have focused on how to prolong the battery lifetime of sensor nodes by proposing different routing, MAC, localization, data aggregation, topology construction techniques. In this paper, we will focus on routing techniques which aim to prolonging the network lifetime. Hence, we propose an Energy-Efficient Routing technique in WSNs based on Stationary and Mobile nodes (EERSM). Sensing filed is divided into intersected circles which contain Mobile Nodes (MN). The proposed data aggregation technique via the circular topology will eliminate the redundant data to be sent to the Base Station (BS). MN in each circle will rout packets for their source nodes, and move to the intersected area where another MN is waiting (sleep mode) to receive the transmitted packet, and then the packet will be delivered to the next intersected area until the packet is arrived to the BS. Our proposed EERSM technique is simulated using MATLAB and compared with conventional multi-hop techniques under different network models and scenarios. The deficiency in electricity has not only obstructed the business activities but also affected the domestic consumers, educational institutes and hospitals. Usually electrical power companies are liable for electricity shortfall and power interruption. However, electricity end consumers are also equally responsible behind strange shortfall and unusual power interruption. Frequently, the consumers use the heavy electrical equipment in their homes including heaters, geysers, irons and water motors which causes the more electricity consumption, load shedding and huge amount of bills. For escaping the huge amount of electricity bill, the consumers commit the illegal and unethical connections. The illegal usage of electrical power failed the power companies to plan schedule load shedding accordingly and the other side the damaged electricity wires or Pole Mount Transformer increased faults due to overburdening, which directly affected on extend power interruption. In addition that, responsible teams of electrical power companies cannot reach instantly to repair faults and prevent the theft. Electricity thieving is social crime committed by the consumers or meter readers which causes the electricity strange shortfall within country. This paper presents the practical demonstration about the common energy theft methods and techniques done by electricity consumers within their home and residential building. In Pakistan EPC (electrical power companies) deploy the traditional electromechanical meters for electricity consumption measurements, however, these meters do not have any real time communication. Therefore there are many easy ways to manipulate the meter reading as well as internal structural of metering system.展开更多

It is developed with the aim of improving inductor losses estimation achievable by averaged models, which inherently neglect inductor current ripple. In order to account for its contribution to the overall inductor losses, an appropriate parallel resistance is thus enclosed into the inductor model, whose value should be chosen in accordance with the DC-DC converter operating conditions. This allows the development of improved averaged models of DC-DC converters, especially in terms of power losses estimation. The effectiveness of the proposed modeling approach has been validated through a simulation study, which refers to the case of a boost DC-DC converter and is performed by means of a suitable circuit simulator designed for rapid modelling of switching power systems (SIMetrix/SIMPLIS).展开更多

The structuralresponse is first expressed as a multivariable power polynomialexpansion, of which the coefficients ae then determined by utilizing the higher-order perturbation technique and Galerkinprojection scheme. Therefore there are many easy ways to manipulate the meter reading as well as internal structural of metering system.
文摘This paper presents the comparison of various current control strategies employed for an interleaved power factor correction (PFC) boost converter for improving the power quality. The major control strategies discussed in this paper are: peak current control, average current control, hysteresis control, borderline current control and non-linear control. These strategies are implemented in MATLAB/SIMULINK and the performance of the proposed converter is compared under open loop and closed loop operation. From the results, the input current waveform was close to input voltage waveform implying improved power factor and reduced total harmonic distortion for nonlinear current control technique. Experimental results validate the proposed method.
文摘A suitable inductor modeling for power electronic DC-DC converters is presented in this paper. The effectiveness of the proposed modeling approach has been validated through a simulation study, which refers to the case of a boost DC-DC converter and is performed by means of a suitable circuit simulator designed for rapid modelling of switching power systems (SIMetrix/SIMPLIS).

文摘A new method for calculating the failure probabilityof structures with random parameters is proposed based onmultivariate power polynomial expansion, in which te uncertain quantities include material properties, structuralgeometric characteristics and static loads. The structuralresponse is first expressed as a multivariable power polynomialexpansion, of which the coefficients ae then determined by utilizing the higher-order perturbation technique and Galerkinprojection scheme. Then, the final performance function ofthe structure is determined. Due to the explicitness of theperformance function, a multifold integral of the structuralfailure probability can be calculated directly by the Monte Carlo simulation, which only requires a smal amount ofcomputation time. Two numerical examples ae presented toillustate te accuracy ad efficiency of te proposed metiod. It is shown that compaed with the widely used first-orderreliability method ( FORM) and second-order reliabilitymethod ( SORM), te results of the proposed method are closer to that of the direct Monte Carlo metiod, and it requires much less computational time.
文摘A CAD tool based on a group of efficient algorithms to verify, design, and optimize power/ground networks for standard cell model is presented.Nonlinear programming techniques, branch and bound algorithms and incomplete Cholesky decomposition conjugate gradient method (ICCG) are the three main parts of our work.Users can choose nonlinear programming method or branch and bound algorithm to satisfy their different requirements of precision and speed. The experimental results prove that the algorithms can run very fast with lower wiring resources consumption. As a result, the CAD tool based on these algorithms is able to cope with large-scale circuits.
