The solution proposes a more effective and non-traditional use of gaseous fuel for heating, the flue gases of which are processed in order to extract additional utilisable heat, with potential elimination of CO2 from them. Deploying of the heating plant in an island regime (OFF-GRID) enables definition of the benefits brought by the 3 years of operational experience and presents visions for the future offering the possibility to utilise the support energy services at the municipal as well as regional level.展开更多

Simulations using ANSYS Workbench, Design Modeler, and AQWA are performed to study the energy absorption at the nodes between the tubes. The analysis is limited to linearized hydrodynamic fluid waves loading on floating bodies by employing three-dimensional radiation/diffraction theory in regular waves in the frequency domain. Three sets of tests are conducted by varying total tube number, each tube length and the order of tubes with different lengths. After a systematic study in the frequency domain, the optimal size and number of the genetic attenuator is recommended.展开更多

Smart grid refers to an electric power system that enhances grid reliability and efficiency by automatically responding to system disturbances. Power crisis is a major problem for a developing country like Bangladesh. Efficient transmission and distribution of electricity with essential energy resources is a fundamental requirement to provide citizens and economies. The paper analyzes the characteristics of Smart Grid and a comparative analysis with conventional grid system. It also discusses about the efficient transmission and distribution process which will integrate power system with renewable energy and information system.展开更多

This advanced module will not only convey means of luxury but will also accomplish real-time energy monitoring and cost es-timation. This developed module will rule out entire re-wiring and will be fruitful at places where installation of a new meter was a problem. The new system after installation will offer means of comfort to the consumer, elderly as well as handicapped and disabled people in operating electric load with ease and comfort. Apart from this, it would also benefit the apartment/hotel owner’s and business personnel who have rented their property or portion of property and face problems in calculating energy bill.展开更多
