Short though it is, it plays an essential role in arousing students' attention, stirring up students' interest, enhancing their motivation, activating the atmosphere of classroom teaching, and achieving teaching objectives. Based on the previous literature about lead-in, the author first discusses the importance and functions of lead-in, and then analyzes some lead-in strategies on the basis of the 17 teaching cases of pre-service English teachers. 展开更多

Environmental Education (EE) has been introduced into the Malaysian Curriculum since 1992. Related to that, EE was found to be an important subject that must be known by the teachers, prior to teach EE indirectly in the classroom. Problems occurred while implementing EE in schools such as;less knowledge about EE an extra burden among teachers to teach. At Teachers Training Institute (TTI), EE is a compulsory subject due to complete their training and this study carried out to identify the attitude of teaching EE among pre-service teachers’. The reliability of the items showed 0.830 cronbach’s alpha. One hundred and twenty five respondents among pre-service teachers’ were analyzed and the result shows pre-service teachers’ have positive attitude towards teaching EE in classroom. Analysis of data shown that there are significant differences between male and female pre-service teachers’ in attitude of teaching, with t = 0.036 (p 0.05). 展开更多

Move analysis is one aspect that has conducted to describe RA abstract. This article analyzed the particular genre with the purpose of helping them work out good abstracts for academic writing to improve their ability of doing research. One hundred abstracts were selected randomly from all the 450 graduation papers written by Eng lish-major pre-service teachers in 2010 in Hunan First Normal University in China. These informative abstracts were analyzed with the framework of Hyland's 2000 Model. The results revealed that these English-major pre-service teachers haven't done well in the abstract writing for their graduation paper, most of whom have no good understanding about the move model and move sequence, which impli cates that explicit introduction of terms of genre, move and move sequence etc., and training on how to write good abstracts in future study are really needed. 展开更多

Language learning beliefs play a very important role in influencing learners' attitudes,motivations and also shape their experiences and actions in classroom.Successful learners develop insightful beliefs about language learning process,their own abilities and the use of effective strategies.However language learning beliefs can be different because of individual learner differences and contextual diversity.This study aimed at exploring beliefs about language learning held by pre-service teachers.159 pre-service teachers majoring in English at Qianan Normal College for Nationalities participated in the study.A 34-item questionnaire adapted from Horwitz's(1987) BALLI was used to collect the data.The results were reported and discussed from the following five aspects:1) beliefs about foreign language aptitude,2) beliefs about difficulty of language learning,3) beliefs about nature of language learning,4) beliefs about learning and communication strategies,and 5) beliefs about motivation and expectations.Suggestions on pedagogical implications and for future research were also indicated. 展开更多

School Support Services Model for Students With Disabilities in General Education Classrooms: Using Data From the Special Needs Education Longitudinal Study in Taiwan

The purposes of this study were to establish a school support service model for students with disabilities in general classroom, and to explore the current status of school support services provided for students with disabilities in preschools, primary, and junior high schools. Therefore, this study used data from the Special Needs Education Longitudinal Study in Taiwan, collected in the 2007-2008 academic year. There were 2,924 students with disabilities selected in the study who were placed in general classrooms; 855 were in preschool, 1,079 were in primary school and 990 were in junior high school. The questionnaires in the database were answered by their teachers. The results of this study are listed, as follows: In terms of the school support service model for students with disabilities in the three stages of education, adjustment in teaching accounts for 1-15% of the explanatory power regarding the overall model, while support services account for 63-85%, which peak in junior high schools. Secondly, itinerant teachers are found to be the most important human resource in preschools. For primary and junior high schools, parents and special education teachers are the more prevalent influences. The more common school support services are tuition refunds, itinerant services, adjustments in examinations, and scholarships. 展开更多

师范生的专业发展水平直接关乎其未来从教的稳定性,也会间接影响教育质量。基于全国五大地区3787名综合性大学师范生的发展水平问卷调查发现:综合性大学师范生的总体专业发展水平较高,专业能力的发展水平低于其他维度,尤其体现为学科转... 师范生的专业发展水平直接关乎其未来从教的稳定性,也会间接影响教育质量。基于全国五大地区3787名综合性大学师范生的发展水平问卷调查发现:综合性大学师范生的总体专业发展水平较高,专业能力的发展水平低于其他维度,尤其体现为学科转化能力有待进一步提升;大三年级师范生的专业发展艰难,具体表现为角色认同摇摆和职业规划尚不明朗。研究还发现,师范生发展水平存在一定差异。随着生源地在城市、乡镇和村(屯)中的变化,师范生在某些方面的表现可能会呈现出不同特征。为提升综合性大学师范生的专业发展水平,应贯通学科课程,提高师范生学科理解力;营造教师教育文化,增强教师角色认同;凸显教师教育课程的区域性,推进高质量教师队伍均衡建设。 展开更多

职前教师学科教学知识的认知包括学科知识认知与教学实践两个层面。研究基于9位职前教师的27次反思报告,运用质性研究方法,通过分析职前教师对学科知识的诠释、重组、呈现,探究职前教师学科知识认知与教学实践之间的关系,并阐释职前教... 职前教师学科教学知识的认知包括学科知识认知与教学实践两个层面。研究基于9位职前教师的27次反思报告,运用质性研究方法,通过分析职前教师对学科知识的诠释、重组、呈现,探究职前教师学科知识认知与教学实践之间的关系,并阐释职前教师学科教学知识的认知困境与原因。研究发现,如果职前教师未能意识到学科知识的独立性和专业性,则很难恰当地将学科知识融入教学实践,以致教学实践中存在学科知识欠缺的现象。故教师培养者应补充相关的学科知识,以帮助职前教师形成合理、整体、全面的学科教学知识;职前教师应深化、重组学科知识认知,调整审视教学内容的视角并在教学实践中恰当地呈现学科知识。 展开更多

Promoting the online flow of high-quality teacher resources has emerged as an important way to pursue coordinated progress in burden reduction and quality improvement under the"double reduction"policy.Based on the Open Online Tutoring Program of Secondary School Teachers(hereinafter referred to as"the open tutoring program")in City A,China,this study examined the factors influencing teachers'continuance intention to participate in the open tutoring program and their structural relationships,using a structural equation modeling analysis based on 1,159 sample data.The results show that:Firstly,teachers'reputation enhancement,perceived playfulness,perceived usefulness,and perceived ease of use have a positive effect on teachers'continuance intention to participate in online after-school teaching services.Secondly,online teaching efficacy has no direct effect on teachers'continuance intention,but rather impacts their reputation enhancement and beliefs about the value of the open tutoring program.Thirdly,social influence has a positive effect on teachers'reputation.Fourthly,perceived ease of use has a positive effect on teachers'perception of the value of the open tutoring program.In light of the above,relevant suggestions are proposed to encourage teachers to continue participating in online after-school teaching services. 展开更多

中小学教师职前培养是其职业生涯的主体中心环节,在此过程中强调“经师”与“人师”的统一,是其可否成为教师职业胜任者的重中之重,也是中小学教师职前培养的关键难点。当前我国中小学教师职前培养偏重“经师”,体现出知识本位、技能本... 中小学教师职前培养是其职业生涯的主体中心环节,在此过程中强调“经师”与“人师”的统一,是其可否成为教师职业胜任者的重中之重,也是中小学教师职前培养的关键难点。当前我国中小学教师职前培养偏重“经师”,体现出知识本位、技能本位、实践本位等目标取向。实现“经师”与“人师”的统一培养特别是培养“人师”意义重大,培养“人师”不仅是弘扬中华优秀传统文化的内在要义,而且是落实“立德树人”教育根本任务的必然要求,还是新时代建设高质量教师队伍的根本遵循。目前在实现“经师”与“人师”统一过程中,还面临着培养主体育人理念存在错位、培养对象在专业学习过程中功利化倾向较为严重、培养过程的核心维度和关键内容失之偏颇等问题。基于此,中小学教师职前培养应遵循国家聚焦制度政策建设、学校致力培养过程改革、高校教师夯实“人师”培养能力、师范生主动提升“人师”力等多维协同,最终实现“经师”与“人师”的统一培养。 展开更多

高校作为师范类专业认证的重要行动者,其认证行为的质量直接关涉认证目标的实现与认证价值的发挥。研究发现:高校在推进师范类专业认证工作的过程中存在诸多行为偏差,包括认证前的行为意向偏差、认证中的改革行为偏差以及认证后的持续... 高校作为师范类专业认证的重要行动者,其认证行为的质量直接关涉认证目标的实现与认证价值的发挥。研究发现:高校在推进师范类专业认证工作的过程中存在诸多行为偏差,包括认证前的行为意向偏差、认证中的改革行为偏差以及认证后的持续改进行为偏差。究其原因在于,认证客体的认证素养储备不足、认证主客体组织架构固化、认证政策体系不完善及认证保障性措施欠缺。为矫正高校师范类专业认证行为偏差,需要从提升认证客体的认证素养,打破认证主客体固化的组织架构,完善认证政策体系及优化认证保障条件等方面作出努力。 展开更多

该文旨在验证修改后的整合技术的学科教学知识(TPACK)量表的可靠性和有效性,并评估在职业教育教师中TPACK认知水平的情况,突出对职业教育教师TPACK的研究的必要性和重要性。采用定量研究设计方法进行验证性因子分析,共纳入2898个样本。... 该文旨在验证修改后的整合技术的学科教学知识(TPACK)量表的可靠性和有效性,并评估在职业教育教师中TPACK认知水平的情况,突出对职业教育教师TPACK的研究的必要性和重要性。采用定量研究设计方法进行验证性因子分析,共纳入2898个样本。结果显示:教师们的TPACK认知水平处于中等水平,经验更丰富的教师比没有经验的同行具有更高水平;同时,在欠发达地区,TPACK认知水平明显低于发达地区。因此,建议职教老师的TPACK发展路径需要结合教育数字化战略和新技术的要求,提供培训和发展机会,培养技术能力,集成技术和学科知识,培养教师的专业素养,建立协作和分享机制,并加强基础设施建设。这样才能使职教老师在教学实践中更好地运用技术、学科知识和教学能力,提高教育质量和学生的职业素养。这项研究的结果强调了对职业教育教师的TPACK认知水平进行深入研究的重要性,这将有助于了解其对职业教育发展的作用,并为政策制定者、教育机构和教师提供可行的策略和方案,以提高职业教育质量、培养适应时代需求的人才。 展开更多
