Relationship between Authoritative Parenting Style and Preschool Children’s Emotion Regulation:A Moderated Mediation Model

An authoritative parenting style has been shown to promote children’s emotion regulation in European-American family studies.However,little is known about how sleep problems and the child’s sibling status in Chinese families affect this relationship.Based on family system theory,this study attempts to better understand the relationship between authoritative parenting style and emotion regulation.Mothers of preschool children in Chinese kindergartens completed questionnaires about their children’s sleep habits,their authoritative parenting styles,and children’s emotion regulation.A total of 531 children participated in this study.Results showed that authoritative parenting was positively associated with emotional regulation.Sleep problems mediated the effects of authoritative parenting style on emotion regulation.The child’s sibling status moderated the mediating effects of sleep problems in authoritative parenting and emotion regulation relationships.Specifically,the relationship between the authoritative parenting style and sleep problems was significant for only children,while birth order had no significant influence on the authoritative parenting style and sleep problems in two-child families.These findings suggest that a lowauthoritative parenting style predicts low emotion regulation through sleep problems,and this depends on the child’s sibling status,indicating that children without siblings may impair emotion regulation due to increased sleep problems. 展开更多

Edutainment,in the kindergarten education stage,emphasizes the game as the basic activity and combines the content of education with the form of the game,thus it also forms the educational method of gamification teaching.Through investigation and analysis,it is found that the current kindergarten game activity design has the problem of improper combination of educational content and game form.The current kindergarten game activity design has problems such as stereotypes,children’s lack of active learning opportunities in activities,teachers’insufficient theoretical understanding,inappropriate teacher guidance methods,and so on.Embodied cognition theory attaches importance to the important role of the body in the development of cognition,provides new guidance for classroom teaching,and opens up a new path for classroom teaching reform.Based on the perspective of embodied cognition theory,the concept of body and mind integration should be adhered to in kindergarten teaching with games as the basic activity,experiential teaching situation should be created,children’s subjective experience should be respected,and games and interactions should be designed to promote children’s physical and mental participation,thus laying a foundation for the realization of children’s individual freedom,autonomy,and all-round development.Therefore,this paper aims at the existing problems in the current kindergarten gamification teaching and discusses the design strategy of children’s game activities based on embodied cognition theory. 展开更多

Background: Studies have pointed out the influence of different children’s activities and prolonged use of digital products on their social development. However, whether the parent-child activities and using digital devices were serial mediators of the relationship between children’s health and social development needs further verification. Purpose: This study explored how parent-child activities and children’s use of digital devices influence the relationship between children’s health and their social competence. Method: This study used data from Kids in Taiwan: National Longitudinal Study of Child Development and Care. A total sample of 2164 participants was used in this study. Serial mediation analyses were performed using model six of Hayes’ PROCESS (2012). Results: This study found that parent-child activities and the use of digital devices can serially mediate the relationship between children’s health and social competence. Children’s health could directly improve their social competence, but it could also serially mediate social competence by increasing parent-child activities and reducing the use of digital devices. Conclusion: Childcare policy planners and parenting educators should not only call on parents to reduce the use of electronic products for their children, but also encourage parents to spend more time interacting with their children, so that children can learn social skills by interacting with others in their daily lives. 展开更多

Purpose: To identify the social-ecological correlates associated with fundamental movement skills at the child, family, and environment levels in young children.Methods: Preschool children from 4 Colorado Head Start/preschool centers were recruited from 2010 to 2012. Two hundred twenty-eight children(128 girls; age = 56.08 § 4.09 months; body mass index(BMI) z-score = 0.53 § 1.12(mean § SD); 42.1% Hispanic/Latino) and 159 families were included in the final analysis. Children's perceived competence and fundamental movement skills were assessed via the Pictorial Scale of Perceived Competence and Social Acceptance and the Bruininks-Oseretsky Test of Motor Proficiency, 2 nd edition. Data on the number of children in the family, parent age, BMI, education, employment status, family income, perception of child coordination, and home physical activity environment were collected via a questionnaire. Linear regressions adjusted for child BMI, age, sex, and school site were performed at each level.Results: Child perceived cognitive competence was positively associated with locomotor skills(p = 0.04; adjusted R2= 0.035) and object-control skills(p = 0.003; adjusted R2= 0.083) at the child level. Parent education, BMI, and perception of child coordination were positively associated with locomotor skills and explained 8.8% of variance, but only parent education was significant(p = 0.04) at the family level. In addition, physical environment was positively associated with locomotor skills(p = 0.02) and explained 5.5% of variance at the environment level.Conclusion: Social-ecological correlates associated with young children's fundamental movement skills are multidimensional and differ according to skill category at the child, family, and environment levels. 展开更多

Can ECE Classes Sustainably Empower Preschool Children’s Development?-A Longitudinal Study of the Role of ECE Classes in Children’s Learning and Development

Does enrolling children aged 0-3 in early childhood education(ECE)classes continuously empower their learning and development after entering kindergarten?Based on the tracking survey data of 664 children aged 3-6 in 2017 and 367 children aged 3-6 in 2018,this study uses Propensity Score Matching to analyze this issue.The findings reveal that children’s family socioeconomic status is a key factor influencing their participation in ECE classes.The baseline data show that participation in ECE classes does not significantly improve children’s learning and development.However,the follow-up data show that participation in ECE classes plays a significant negative role in motor development for children moving to their second year of kindergarten,but subsequently plays a positive role in language development,health,and safety for those entering their third year of kindergarten.Overall,participation in ECE classes plays no continuous positive role in children’s learning and development after they enter kindergarten.Based on these findings,it is suggested that parents should respect the natural laws of child development instead of blindly following the trend of attending ECE classes,and high-quality parental companionship is crucial.The Chinese government is supposed to implement policies such as“double reduction”to regulate ECE institutions that fail to operate in good faith. 展开更多

目的分析B细胞活化因子(BAFF)与小儿自身免疫性脑炎严重程度的相关性,为临床诊治小儿自身免疫性脑炎提供思路。方法该研究采用病例-对照的研究方法,将该院2020年1月至2022年6月收治的45例自身免疫性脑炎患儿作为病例组,另将该院同期收治... 目的分析B细胞活化因子(BAFF)与小儿自身免疫性脑炎严重程度的相关性,为临床诊治小儿自身免疫性脑炎提供思路。方法该研究采用病例-对照的研究方法,将该院2020年1月至2022年6月收治的45例自身免疫性脑炎患儿作为病例组,另将该院同期收治的45例病毒性脑炎患儿作为对照组;查阅两组患儿电子病历档案,收集性别、年龄、临床特征、脑脊液BAFF、血清BAFF等临床资料;应用改良Rankin量表(mRS)评估自身免疫性脑炎患儿的病情严重程度,比较轻度组、中重度组患儿实验室资料及影像学资料,分析BAFF与小儿自身免疫性脑炎严重程度的关系。结果病例组临床特征为精神行为异常、认知障碍、癫痫发作、语言障碍、意识障碍占比高于对照组,临床特征为发热、恶心占比低于对照组,差异有统计学意义(P<0.05);病例组脑脊液BAFF及血清BAFF水平低于对照组,差异有统计学意义(P<0.05);病例组与对照组其他资料对比,差异无统计学意义(P>0.05);45例自身免疫性脑炎患儿经评估,病情程度为轻度28例,中重度17例;轻度组白细胞计数、中性粒细胞计数、mRS评分低于中重度组,白蛋白、脑脊液BAFF及血清BAFF水平高于中重度组,差异有统计学意义(P<0.05);其他不同病情程度患儿实验室资料及影像学资料对比,差异无统计学意义(P>0.05);经Point-biserial相关性分析显示,脑脊液BAFF及血清BAFF与小儿自身免疫性脑炎严重程度均呈负相关(r=-0.524、-0.562,P<0.05);经Pearson相关性分析显示,自身免疫性脑炎患儿脑脊液BAFF与血清BAFF呈正相关(r=0.437,P<0.05);绘制受试者工作特征曲线,结果显示,脑脊液BAFF、血清BAFF预测小儿自身免疫性脑炎严重程度的曲线下面积均>0.7,均具有良好的预测价值。结论BAFF与小儿自身免疫性脑炎严重程度密切相关,且对预测小儿自身免疫性脑炎严重程度具有良好的价值。 展开更多

目的:探索学龄前儿童气质和身体活动之间的关系,以及身体活动养育实践在二者中的中介作用。方法:以247名学龄前儿童(男117名,女130名)为被试,使用三轴加速度传感器测量身体活动水平,儿童行为问卷和中国香港学龄前儿童身体活动养育实践... 目的:探索学龄前儿童气质和身体活动之间的关系,以及身体活动养育实践在二者中的中介作用。方法:以247名学龄前儿童(男117名,女130名)为被试,使用三轴加速度传感器测量身体活动水平,儿童行为问卷和中国香港学龄前儿童身体活动养育实践量表测评气质和身体活动养育实践,使用差异分析、相关分析和中介作用分析等探究三者之间的关联。结果:1)男童腾动性与LPA(r=0.25,P<0.01)、MVPA(r=0.41,P<0.01)、TPA(r=0.35,P<0.01)均显著正相关,女童负向情感与LPA显著负相关(r=-0.18,P<0.05);2)男童鼓励与LPA(r=0.32,P<0.01)、TPA(r=0.31,P<0.01)显著正相关,抑制相反与LPA(r=-0.22,P<0.05)、TPA(r=-0.20,P<0.05)显著负相关;3)男童负向情感与鼓励显著负相关(r=-0.31,P<0.01),与抑制显著正相关(r=0.26,P<0.01),女童负向情感与抑制显著正相关(r=0.26,P<0.01),男童(r=0.34,P<0.01)和女童(r=0.41,P<0.01)的主动控制均与鼓励显著正相关;4)鼓励在男童腾动性与LPA、TPA关系中起部分中介作用,在男童主动控制、负向情感与LPA、TPA的关系中起完全中介作用。结论:幼儿气质和身体活动水平具有一定关联,其中身体活动养育实践——鼓励,在男童中发挥重要作用,未来在身体活动水平促进中要大力挖掘科学的身体活动养育实践措施。 展开更多

对湖南省株洲市209名3~6岁学龄前儿童展开横断面调查,通过加速度计测量24 h活动,采用学龄前儿童执行功能问卷父母版评估学龄前儿童执行功能水平,运用成分数据和等时替代模型方法分析24 h活动时间占比与学龄前儿童执行功能的关系,以及24 ... 对湖南省株洲市209名3~6岁学龄前儿童展开横断面调查,通过加速度计测量24 h活动,采用学龄前儿童执行功能问卷父母版评估学龄前儿童执行功能水平,运用成分数据和等时替代模型方法分析24 h活动时间占比与学龄前儿童执行功能的关系,以及24 h活动行为时间重新分配与执行功能的预期变化。结果显示:(1)MVPA时间占比与学龄前儿童执行功能总分呈显著负相关(β_(1)^((4))=-5.45,P=0.03),LPA时间占比与学龄前儿童执行功能总分也呈显著负相关(β_(1)^((4))=-10.67,P<0.001),睡眠时间占比与学龄前儿童执行功能总分呈显著正相关(β_(1)^((4))=15.30,P<0.001),久坐行为时间占比与学龄前儿童执行功能总分无相关性。(2)15 min等时替代模型预测变化显示,MVPA替换其他活动行为后,学龄前儿童执行功能总分均显著下降,反之则上升,且MVPA与其他3种活动行为时间重新分配对执行功能的等时替代效益具有不对称性;在所有替代中,MVPA替代LPA对降低执行功能总分的效应最佳。研究认为:幼儿园、家长应重视学龄前儿童24 h活动行为时间的综合效应,以及MVPA不足对学龄前儿童执行功能的负面效应。不仅要长期坚持“多动少坐”的理念,更应促进久坐与MVPA之间的转换,同时可以通过提高PA强度促使LPA向MVPA转换,以促进学龄前儿童执行功能发展。 展开更多

目的基于计算机云平台智能化主动筛查,研究深圳市龙华区4~5岁的学龄前儿童多动行为现状及其相关影响因素,以期实现对学龄前儿童多动行为的早期筛查。方法运用计算机“璟云平台”对深圳市龙华区6个街道共239家幼儿园在2019年秋季入学的... 目的基于计算机云平台智能化主动筛查,研究深圳市龙华区4~5岁的学龄前儿童多动行为现状及其相关影响因素,以期实现对学龄前儿童多动行为的早期筛查。方法运用计算机“璟云平台”对深圳市龙华区6个街道共239家幼儿园在2019年秋季入学的学龄前儿童进行调查,共收集59564名学龄前儿童问卷数据,年龄4~5岁,获得有效问卷59114份。试验创新性在于将经过本领域专家论证有效可行的问卷收集量表放置于计算机云平台上,实现智能化收集数据并通过智能分析,方便早期筛查与智能判断。用专家论证编制的问卷收集被调查对象的一般人口学资料,用Conners父母用症状问卷(PSQ)评估被调查学龄前儿童的多动行为,并对采集的数据分析儿童多动行为的现状及相关影响因素。结果深圳市龙华区6个街道共239家幼儿园4~5岁学龄前儿童多动行为检出率为4.86%。儿童性别、父母婚姻状况、在深圳居住时间、所处街道环境及转校情况与学龄前儿童多动行为均存在关联(P<0.05);logistic回归分析显示,深圳居住时间是保护因素(95%CI 0.798~0.975),并且在深圳居住时间越长,女孩受保护比男孩更明显。儿童父母亲的婚姻状况为丧偶(95%CI 3.154~19.646)、未婚(95%CI 1.027~5.268),儿童所在幼儿园位于龙华街道(95%CI 1.138~2.508)、大浪街道(95%CI 1.384~2.971)以及观澜街道(95%CI 1.470~3.509)均是学龄前儿童多动行为的危险因素。结论通过计算机云平台的主动筛查,能够简便有效筛查出有多动行为的学龄前儿童,以及可分析得到影响学龄前儿童多动行为的相关保护或危险因素,在较大范围区域的早期筛查中建议推广使用。 展开更多

目的 了解安宁市3~6岁儿童龋病患病状况,检测龋活跃性指数,分析3~6岁儿童龋病发生的相关因素。方法 2023年5月至2023年6月在云南省安宁市采用分层随机整群抽样的方法,对安宁市学龄前儿童进行口腔健康检查和龋活跃性检测(Cariostat),并... 目的 了解安宁市3~6岁儿童龋病患病状况,检测龋活跃性指数,分析3~6岁儿童龋病发生的相关因素。方法 2023年5月至2023年6月在云南省安宁市采用分层随机整群抽样的方法,对安宁市学龄前儿童进行口腔健康检查和龋活跃性检测(Cariostat),并请家长填写问卷调查表,采用Logistic回归分析方法,分析与乳牙龋病相关的因素。结果 共有3 070名3~6岁儿童参与研究,安宁市3~6岁儿童患龋率为65.8%,龋均为2.0(0.0,7.0)。患龋率(χ^(2)=227.134,P <0.001)和龋均(χ^(2)=331.844,P <0.001)在不同龋病活跃性分组间差异有统计学意义。多因素回归分析显示,儿童所在街道、性别、刷牙方式、开始刷牙的年龄、牙疼痛经历和看牙经历、进食糖果频率、龋态检测值分组与乳牙龋的发生差异有统计学意义(P <0.05)。结论 云南省安宁市3~6岁儿童患龋情况严重,乳牙龋病患龋率高,需要引起重视。龋活跃性检测(Cariostat)可以有效评估儿童患龋风险,早期识别龋高风险人群,及早进行防治工作。龋齿的发生与家庭社会经济地位和口腔健康相关行为有关,需加强相关政策和支持措施来降低儿童的患龋率,预防龋病的发生。 展开更多

近年来编程教育逐渐延伸至学前阶段,呈现低龄化趋势,但编程教育对学前儿童发展的影响缺乏充分的实证研究。研究以计算思维和创造性思维两项高阶思维为视角,依托无屏幕编程机器人工具,基于5E教学法设计实施系列编程教育活动,采用准实验... 近年来编程教育逐渐延伸至学前阶段,呈现低龄化趋势,但编程教育对学前儿童发展的影响缺乏充分的实证研究。研究以计算思维和创造性思维两项高阶思维为视角,依托无屏幕编程机器人工具,基于5E教学法设计实施系列编程教育活动,采用准实验法考察编程教育对学前儿童发展的影响。研究发现,无屏幕编程教育活动对学前儿童计算思维发展具有显著促进作用,对学前儿童的创造性思维具有部分促进作用,创造性思维的独创性和变通性维度并未得到显著提升。由此建议:理性看待编程教育对学前儿童发展的价值与限度,加强编程教育与幼儿园教育活动的融合创新,优化编程教学设计以更好地促进学前儿童思维发展。 展开更多

家庭环境与农村儿童早期语言发展的关系

本研究以374名贵州农村地区小、中、大班年龄儿童为研究对象,开发并采用适合农村儿童的图片命名测验以及家庭环境调查问卷,描述农村学前儿童的口语词汇发展水平及家庭环境现状,并探讨家庭环境各因素(父母教育水平、家庭阅读活动、教育... 本研究以374名贵州农村地区小、中、大班年龄儿童为研究对象,开发并采用适合农村儿童的图片命名测验以及家庭环境调查问卷,描述农村学前儿童的口语词汇发展水平及家庭环境现状,并探讨家庭环境各因素(父母教育水平、家庭阅读活动、教育观念、家长评估及早期阅读教育)与学前儿童口语词汇发展的关系。结果表明:(1)农村学前儿童的口语词汇表现出随年龄增长而提高的发展模式;(2)农村儿童处于较为不利的早期家庭环境,包括较低的父母教育水平、早期阅读教育起步较晚等;(3)在这些家庭环境因素中,母亲教育水平和家庭阅读活动与儿童口语词汇显著相关,并且二者可以相对独立地预测儿童口语词汇发展。研究结果为农村贫困地区学前儿童语言发展的干预可行性提供重要的理论基础。 展开更多

基于代理报告式问卷的身体活动测量法是学龄前儿童身体活动测量的主要方法之一。本研究对学龄前儿童身体活动代理报告问卷进行述评,为从事学龄前儿童身体活动研究的学者们提供理论参考。首先,采用系统综述的方法对目前世界上常用的10种... 基于代理报告式问卷的身体活动测量法是学龄前儿童身体活动测量的主要方法之一。本研究对学龄前儿童身体活动代理报告问卷进行述评,为从事学龄前儿童身体活动研究的学者们提供理论参考。首先,采用系统综述的方法对目前世界上常用的10种问卷进行特征凝练,并选取了三例问卷进行“案例介绍”;随后,汇编问卷应用选取决策指南,为学者们进行工具选取时提供方法论;最后,提出学龄前儿童身体活动测评启示。研究认为,在考虑身体活动研究的目的和可用资源的情况下,基于代理报告式问卷的学龄前儿童身体活动测量法的优势明显。未来学者们可以从继续扩大经典问卷的信效度研究、构建基于本国儿童情况的测量工具以及继续探索新型身体活动测量方法等方面开展相关的研究工作。 展开更多
