As Po2 increases from 10% to 30%, it is found that the device shows enhanced bias stress stability with significantly reduced threshold voltage drift under positive gate bias stress. Based on the x-ray photoelectron spectroscopy measurement, the concentration of oxygen vacancies (Or) within the a-IGZO layer is suppressed by increasing Po2. Meanwhile, the low-frequency noise analysis indicates that the average trap density near the channel/dielectric interface continuously drops with increasing Po2. Therefore, the improved interface quality with increasing Po2 during the channel layer deposition can be attributed to the reduction of interface Ov-related defects, which agrees with the enhanced bias stress stability of the a-IGZO TFTs.展开更多

However, the effect of APG on this outer peak is not clearly understood. In this paper, the effect of APG is analysed using the numerical and experimental results in the literature. Because the effect of upstream flow is inherent in the TBL, we first analyse this effect in TBLs with zero pressure gradient on flat plates. Under the individual effect of upstream flow, an outer peak already appears in the profile of streamwise Reynolds stress when the TBL continues developing in the streamwise direction. The APG accelerates the appearance of the outer peak, instead of being a trigger.展开更多

Using the covariant equations of the a-coordinate to create a one-term PGF (the covariant method) can reduce the PGF errors. This study investigates the factors inducing the PGF errors of these two methods, through geometric analysis and idealized experiments. The geometric analysis first demonstrates that the terrain slope and the vertical pressure gradient can induce the PGF errors of the classic method, and then generalize the effect of the terrain slope to the effect of the slope of each vertical layer (φ). More importantly, a new factor, the direction of PGF (a), is proposed by the geometric analysis, and the effects of φ and a are quantified by tan φ.tan a. When tan φ.tan a is greater than 1/9 or smaller than -10/9, the two terms of PGF of the classic method are of the same order but opposite in sign, and then the PGF errors of the classic method are large. Finally, the effects of three factors on inducing the PGF errors of the classic method are validated by a series of idealized experiments using various terrain types and pressure fields. The experimental results also demonstrate that the PGF errors of the covariant method are affected little by the three factors.展开更多

Due to the lack of necessary data, the two parameters are studied by experimental method. The experimental results show that heat conduction of sinter impacts the measurement of convection heat transfer coefficient. Convection heat transfer increases with the increase of air volumetric flow rate. Sinter layer without small particles(sample I) gives higher convection heat transfer coefficient than that with small particles(sample II). Under the considered conditions, volumetric convection heat transfer coefficient is in the range of 400-1800 W/(m3·°C). Air pressure drop in sinter layer increases with the increase of normal superficial velocity, as well as with the rise of air temperature. Additionally, air pressure drop also depends on sinter particle size distribution. In considered experimental conditions, pressure drop in sinter sample II is 2-3 times that in sinter sample I, which resulted from 17% small scale particles in sinter sample II.展开更多

In order to reduce the titanium layer thickness, the explosive welding of TA1 titanium foil to Q235 steel plate was carried out. The interfacial bonding performance was analyzed by micromorphology analysis and mechanical property test, and the formation process of interfacial wave and molten block in the vortex was simulated by smoothed particle hydrodynamics(SPH) method. The results showed that salt as pressure transfer layer used in explosive welding could play a good buffer effect on the collision between flyer and base layers. Regular waveforms were formed on the bonding interface, and the titanium foil/steel clad plate exhibited good welding quality and bonding property. The crest of the observed interfacial wave moved 200 μm from the beginning to the final formation, and it was important of jet on the formation of interfacial waveform. The interface was mainly bonded in the form of molten layer, and the grains near the interface were streamlined. Molten block containing intermetallic compounds and metal oxides appeared in the vortex of wave crest.展开更多

This paper presents a dynamic finite element method to investigate the strength degradation and associated pore pressure development of the intercalated soft layer under wave cyclic loading. By combining the undrained shear strength with the empirical formula of overconsolidation clay produced by unloading and the development model of pore pressure, the dynamic degradation law that describes the undrained shear strength as a function of cycle number and stress level is derived. Based on the proposed dynamic degradation law and M-C yield criterion, a dynamic finite element method is numerically implemented to predict changes in undrained shear strength of the intercalated soft layer by using the general-purpose FEM software ABAQUS, and the accuracy of the method is verified. The effects of cycle number and amplitude of the wave force on the degradation of the undrained shear strength of the intercalated soft layer and the associated excess pore pressure response are investigated by analyzing an overall distribution and three typical sections underneath the breakwater. By comparing the undrained shear strength distributions obtained by the static method and the quasi-static method with the undrained shear strength distributions obtained by the dynamic finite element method in the three typical sections, the superiority of the dynamic finite element method in predicting changes in undrained shear strength is demonstrated.展开更多

Using the wave number frequency transfer function to desribe the whole system , consisting of the plate and the liquid loading, a general expression of the cross spectrum was derived. It is an integral in the complex wave number plane and leads to a sum of the residues at the poles of two types. One pole introduced by the convective ridge of the pressure fluctuations yields a direct transfer component , which is an evanescent wave in liquid because the pole lies in the high wave number region . The other poles introduced by the transfer function of structure produce the radiation field components with the resonance modes of a liquid loaded plate. The pole positions and their residues can be computed approximately by use of the Resonance Scattering Theory . For the case of hydrodynamic noise, where the range of the frequency-thickness product of interest is relatively low , the symmetric zero-order mode dominates the noise radiation.展开更多
