Seismic Rock physics plays a bridge role between the rock moduli and physical properties of the hydrocarbon reservoirs.Prestack seismic inversion is an important method for the quantitative characterization of elastic...Seismic Rock physics plays a bridge role between the rock moduli and physical properties of the hydrocarbon reservoirs.Prestack seismic inversion is an important method for the quantitative characterization of elasticity,physical properties,lithology and fluid properties of subsurface reservoirs.In this paper,a high order approximation of rock physics model for clastic rocks is established and one seismic AVO reflection equation characterized by the high order approximation(Jacobian and Hessian matrix)of rock moduli is derived.Besides,the contribution of porosity,shale content and fluid saturation to AVO reflectivity is analyzed.The feasibility of the proposed AVO equation is discussed in the direct estimation of rock physical properties.On the basis of this,one probabilistic AVO inversion based on differential evolution-Markov chain Monte Carlo stochastic model is proposed on the premise that the model parameters obey Gaussian mixture probability prior model.The stochastic model has both the global optimization characteristics of the differential evolution algorithm and the uncertainty analysis ability of Markov chain Monte Carlo model.Through the cross parallel of multiple Markov chains,multiple stochastic solutions of the model parameters can be obtained simultaneously,and the posterior probability density distribution of the model parameters can be simulated effectively.The posterior mean is treated as the optimal solution of the model to be inverted.Besides,the variance and confidence interval are utilized to evaluate the uncertainties of the estimated results,so as to realize the simultaneous estimation of reservoir elasticity,physical properties,discrete lithofacies and dry rock skeleton.The validity of the proposed approach is verified by theoretical tests and one real application case in eastern China.展开更多
The meandering channel deposit of the upper member of Neogene Guantao Formation in Shengli Chengdao extra-shallow sea oilfield is characterized by rapid change in sedimentary facies.In addition,affected by surface tid...The meandering channel deposit of the upper member of Neogene Guantao Formation in Shengli Chengdao extra-shallow sea oilfield is characterized by rapid change in sedimentary facies.In addition,affected by surface tides and sea water reverberation,the double sensor seismic data processed by conventional methods has low signal-to-noise ratio and low resolution,and thus cannot meet the needs of seismic description and oil-bearing fluid identification of thin reservoirs less than 10 meters thick in this area.The two-step high resolution frequency bandwidth expanding processing technology was used to improve the signal-to-noise ratio and resolution of the seismic data,as a result,the dominant frequency of the seismic data was enhanced from 30 Hz to 50 Hz,and the sand body thickness resolution was enhanced from 10 m to 6 m.On the basis of fine layer control by seismic data,three types of seismic facies models,floodplain,natural levee and point bar,were defined,and the intelligent horizon-facies controlled recognition technology was worked out,which had a prediction error of reservoir thickness of less than 1.5 m.Clearly,the description accuracy of meandering channel sand bodies has been improved.The probability semi-quantitative oiliness identification method of fluid by prestack multi-parameters has been worked out by integrating Poisson’s ratio,fluid factor,product of Lame parameter and density,and other prestack elastic parameters,and the method has a coincidence rate of fluid identification of more than 90%,providing solid technical support for the exploration and development of thin reservoirs in Shengli Chengdao extra-shallow sea oilfield,which is expected to provide reference for the exploration and development of similar oilfields in China.展开更多
Using a bottom simulating reflector(BSR)on a seismic profile to identify marine gas hydrate is a traditional seismic exploration method.However,owing to the abundance differences between the gas hydrate and free gas i...Using a bottom simulating reflector(BSR)on a seismic profile to identify marine gas hydrate is a traditional seismic exploration method.However,owing to the abundance differences between the gas hydrate and free gas in different regions,the BSR may be unremarkable on the seismic profile and invisible in certain cases.With the improvement of exploration precision,difficulty arises in meeting the requirements of distinguishing the abundance differences in the gas hydrate based on BSR.Hence,we studied other sensitive attributes to ascertain the existence of gas hydrate and its abundance variations,eventually improving the success rate of drilling and productivity.In this paper,we analyzed the contradiction between the seismic profile data and drilling sampling data from the Blake Ridge.We extracted different attributes and performed multi-parameter constraint analysis based on the prestack elastic wave impedance inversion.Then,we compared the analysis results with the drilling sampling data.Eventually,we determined five sensitive attributes that can better indicate the existence of gas hydrate and its abundance variations.This method overcomes the limitations of recognizing the gas hydrate methods based on BSR or single inversion attribute.Moreover,the conclusions can notably improve the identification accuracy of marine gas hydrate and provide excellent reference significance for the recognition of marine gas hydrate.Notably,the different geological features of reservoirs feature different sensitivities to the prestacking attributes when using the prestack elastic inversion in different areas.展开更多
