Research on the Reality of Professional Identity of Teaching of Primary Education Undergraduates—A Case Study on N Higher Normal University

This paper is a reality research on professional identity of teaching of primary education undergraduates of N Higher Normal University.The research was conducted from four dimensions:professional desire and expectation,professional will,professional value,and professional performance.SPSS25.0 was applied in this research to analyze the data.The results indicate that primary education undergraduates have a relatively high level of professional identity of teaching.Besides,there are no significant differences in aspects of gender,class,only child,and professional identity of teaching,whereas the difference in the possession of a teacher qualification certificate is prominent.

Exploring the Significance and Path of Interdisciplinary Integration of Art Education in Primary and Secondary Schools in the Era of Artificial Intelligence

With the advent of the artificial intelligence(AI)era,there is a need to create a more flexible and humanistic educational ecosystem to adapt to the changes.Education needs to move from a unidirectional focus on skills to the cultivation of creative“whole people.”Due to the non-standardized evaluation system of the art discipline,its education has a unique advantage for the cultivation of students’creativity.At the same time,the interdisciplinary integration of fine arts points to the educational goals in the era of AI and the educational requirements for cultivating students’core qualities in China.Therefore,this paper analyzes the theoretical basis and developmental evolution of interdisciplinary integration,studies the significance of interdisciplinary integration in art education from the three levels of students,teaching,and disciplines,and explores four effective paths to realize interdisciplinary integration in art education in the era of AI.In this way,students can realize the contextualized analysis of knowledge,in-depth understanding of the content of the discipline,and accurate expression of the spiritual values embedded in art interdisciplinary learning.The ultimate goal is to cultivate students’ability to solve complex problems,promote the development of students’free personalities,and respond to the national education requirements.

Implementation of STEM Tinkering Approaches in Primary School Education in Greece

In this paper,they are presented the experiences that emerged from the implementation of STEM approaches in primary education in Greece,given the context in which schools operate.The aim is to stimulate discussion on the possibilities and feasibility of introducing STEM activities in Greek schools.Two public schools in Attica were selected as pilot schools to test the proposal in which eight different actions were implemented in different grades.Indicatively,one of the actions implemented for nine classroom hours in elementary school(K5)is presented.From the literature review and the implementation of these actions,it has been demonstrated that while existing curricula have not incorporated the STEM education methodology into their goals,there are links that allow teachers to apply it.In addition,it appears that the scenarios will have to be carefully designed,be clearly depicted and receptive to accepting solutions proposed.In parallel,the positive effect of these actions has multiple levels of impact on students(cognitive domain,affective domain,and psychomotor domain).

A Practical Study on Value-Added Assessment in Primary English Education

As a programmatic document to guide the reform of educational assessment,the“General Plan for Deepening the Reform of Educational Assessment in the New Era”clearly points out the requirement for exploring value-added assessment[1].In the process of exploring,Tennessee Value-Added Assessment System(TVAAS),which was implemented in Tennessee,United States in 1992,has a certain referential significance to the practice of assessment reform in primary English education[2].This study aims to build a value-added assessment model in line with China’s learning conditions by using big data and carry out pilot experiments in order to promote the development of educational assessment in primary schools.

Teaching Strategies for Physical Education in Primary and Secondary Schools Under the Background of National Sports

By the end of 2021,the proportion of people participating in normalized physical exercise in China has reached up to 37.2%,contributing to the transformation of competitive sports into national sports.This has significantly affected the teaching quality of physical education in primary and secondary schools.In the critical period of the“14th Five-Year Plan”construction,it is necessary to deepen the physical education work in primary and secondary schools concertedly with high-quality development goals.Taking this as the starting point,the paper outlines the basic content and main influence of national sports as well as analyzes the new demands of physical education in primary and secondary schools under the background of national sports.On this basis,several targeted teaching strategies are put forward from three aspects:teaching concept,information technology,and teaching goals.

Analysis of the Physical Education Teaching Path in Primary and Secondary Schools Under the Guidance of Core Literacy

Since the 2018 National Education Conference in China,physical education has gained importance as a whole,and the development of physical literacy education and teaching has been promoted.In order to ensure high-quality physical education teaching in primary and secondary schools in the new era,it is necessary to take core literacy as the guide to further improve the level of physical education in primary and secondary schools.This article emphasizes the importance of physical education in primary and secondary schools in the new era and analyzes the need of primary and secondary schools for core literacy-oriented physical education.On this basis,targeted suggestions are proposed from three aspects:new concept,new technology,and new evaluation.

The Barrier of the Child and Parent Expected Models for Entering the School System-A Secondary Publication

The recognition of the positive value of student diversity and their right to full participation are key aspects of inclusion as a means of managing heterogeneity of the school population from an equality perspective.As the school cannot welcome the diversity of children without including their families,the same logic needs to apply to the relationship between the school and parents,particularly in the current environment where the school-family partnership appears as a privileged institutional leverage in the fight against inequalities at school.Based on an ethnographical study exploring how the relationship between the school and the families builds up in a Swiss school located in a context of strong cultural diversity,this paper interrogates how the school norm can be the main limitation to the inclusion of students and parents who are unfamiliar with the school.Derived from field observations and interviews,our results show how the teachers tend to approach their relationship with new students and their parents from the standpoint of narrowly defined expected models,leading them to engage in a vain attempt to conform the students and parents when they deviate from these models.The possibility of entering the school system for students and parents unfamiliar with school is hindered by the exclusive and excluding normativity on which the models of the child and the parent expected by the teachers are grounded.Based on these observations,we discuss how an inclusive approach seems to us to require in the first place a necessary process of decentering from the school and teachers,as a condition for recognition of the actual child and parent.

Authentic Assessment of Compulsory Subjects in Primary Schools:A Case Study in the Western Area of China

This article discusses a case study that explores the relationship between 21st century learning and curriculum alignment.It investigates three compulsory subjects:Chinese,mathematics,and English.By inquiring the survey on individual perspectives on curriculum content and authentic assessment in different schools within the scope of western Chinese primary schools,this article concluded that 21st century learning skills are well developed in primary schools.Although authentic assessment from parents5 perspective is diminutive,it is progressive for some students.Numerous factors can influence the actual practice of authentic assessment as teachers and pedagogies significantly contribute to studentsJ learning outcomes.The authentic assessment in China still has a long way to go in order to boost these learning skills to a higher level.

A Brief Analysis of the Application of Situational Teaching Method in Primary School Music Class

Music situational teaching method aims to mobilize the students’thoughts in a natural state so as to enhance the attractiveness and efficiency of music classes.In the process of this method,some specific situational are designed according to the characteristics of music and under the guidance of psychology,methodology,pedagogy and other theories,and various sensory organs are employed.Different from traditional teaching method,situational teaching method creates learning situational for students,which is consistent with the characteristics of primary school students’physical and mental development and maximizes students’experience and feeling of music.

The Useof Drama Pedagogy in Teaching Morality in a Chinese Primary School

Purpose:This paper aims to explore the potential of the drama pedagogy that may contribute to primary children's moral growth in the Chinese educational context.It argues that drama may offer an ensemble-based,dialogic,and narrative pedagogy for teaching morality to complement thedidactic traditional model.Design/Approach/Methods:The methodological approach is that of case study research,using different methods to assess the effects and effectiveness of the author's teaching.The fieldwork was undertaken in a public primary school in Beijing,in which the drama workshop The Boat was taught to I6 children on a voluntary basis.Findings:The study demonstrates that drama can be seen to some extent to assist pupils in aspects of their empathetic attitudes,dialogic thinking abilities,and autonomous thinking capacities.Originality/Value:The author hopes the study might stimulate more and deeper research in similar contexts and that this may further extend the understanding of Chinese teachers of this resourceful new pedagogy.

K-12 Students’Online Learning Experiences during COVID-19:Lessons from China

Online learning has become the new educational pattern during the COVID-19 pandemic and is likely to supplement conventional schooling in the post-pandemic world.Lacking prior online learning experiences,the population of K-12 students deserves our special attention.Using purposeful sampling,this study investigated K-12 online learning experiences in China based on a large-scale survey(N=118,589).Leveraging both quantitative and qualitative evidence,this study supported online learning as a flexible alternative to conventional schooling in emergency situations with a discussion of its benefits and limitations,and revealed key findings regarding K-12 students’online learning pattern,experiences,and engagement,as well as the influencing factors.The research findings can inform the future design and implementation of online learning programs in primary and secondary schools.
