This lack of resources has an impact of the context of the digital divide as well as in joining the knowledge society. The present article will deal with the outfitting of classrooms with the enciclomedia system in the 5tb and 6th grade in the State of Puebla. It will demonstrate important findings, demonstrating the deepening digital divide between the state capital and the rest of the municipalities in this state. In fact, the furthest (300 km far away from Puebla city) the less primary school equipped with the enciclomedia system. We will also demonstrate the resource distribution by school-type and inhabitants. Another finding is the influence in resource distribution by political party. This study should provide public policy decision-makers with valuable information for the apportionment of resources in all municipalities of the State of Puebla.展开更多

An additional language, sign language was approved as an official language at the end of 2008. The Constitution of the Republic of South Africa and the South African Schools Act 84 of 1996 emphasise teaching and learning through any mother tongue, a learner would understand best. Section 29(1) of the Constitution of the Republic of South Africa categorically states that: "Everyone has the right to receive education in the official language or languages of their choice in public educational institutions where that education is reasonably practicable". However, most text books written in English have been prescribed at many schools. One is not certain whether the subjects are taught in English or in the indigenous language at these schools. In the end, those teachers use the mother tongue, together with English, in teaching learners. This result in code switching and code mixing takes place in classes, which are meant to facilitate communication across barriers of colour, language, and region, while creating an environment in which respect for languages other than one's own would be encouraged. Teaching and learning in one's mother tongue promotes full participation in the economy of the country. The aim of the paper is to investigate teaching and learning in Vhembe primary schools of the Limpopo Province in South Africa, within the framework of existing legislation. This will be compared with empirical evidence. The researcher seeks to establish what language(s) primary schools use for teaching and learning. Based on this, conclusions and recommendations will be made to assist stakeholders in language-in-education policy formulation.展开更多

文摘To investigate the levels of arsenic(As)in the groundwater and drinking water of primary schools and their potential impact on human health is main objective of this study. To assess risk, the following parameters i.e.,carcinogenic indices(CI),hazardous indexes(HI),carcinogenic risk(CR),and hazardous quotient(HQ)have been measured for both dermal and oral arsenic exposure. This study has been focused on primary schools located in four tehsils of Multan, where water samples were collected.Arsenic levels, with concentrations ranging from 3.31 to 191 mg/l,exceeding the safe limit set by the World Health Organization(WHO)have been detected in 99.9%of the samples. The results show that arsenic content ranged from 3.31 to 191 mg/l,with 99.9%of the samples exceeding the World Health Organization's safe limit of 10 mg/l.The CR and CI exceeded the USEPA limit of 10–6 in all four tehsils ranged from 2.6×10^(-6) to 9.4×10^(-6) and 0.00023 to 0.0009 respectively in both dermal and oral cases.,Multan Sadar(1.51,1.39)and Multan City(1.76,1.71)exhibited HI and HQ values that surpassed the threshold of 1.0,signaling a significant likelihood of chronic and cancer-causing health consequences for individuals who are exposed to polluted water causing health. The findings suggest that the groundwater in the Multan district poses a significant health risk to humans due to high levels of arsenic contamination. This contamination is associated with an increased risk of mortality from internal cancers(including liver, kidney, lung, and bladder),as well as a higher HI&CI incidence of skin cancer.Furthermore, pregnancy outcomes are affected, with associations found between arsenic exposure and lower birth weight, and infant mortality. The researchers propose that water supply organizations and educational institutions promptly take measures to ensure that the affected areas have access to arsenic-free drinking water for the well-being of students and residents.

文摘Honesty is one of the most important moral qualities of a person, and therefore, integrity education is also a crucial aspect of quality education in China’s curriculum reform. However, the current effectiveness of integrity education is not prominent, and many students still face issues of insufficient creditworthiness in their daily lives.Since schools and families are key links in primary school moral education on credit, moral education on credit in primary schools should be constantly innovated ideologically, exploring new educational channels and actively promoting collaboration with families to effectively fulfill its functions of nurturing students’personality and enhancing their healthy growth.
文摘As an important carrier of red culture, red music culture carries the glorious history of revolution, construction, and reform led by the Communist Party of China(CPC),and has significant functional value in cultivating students’ideals, values, and cultural identity,as well as patriotic consciousness and national pride. However, the integration of red music culture into the ideological and political education of primary and secondary schools faces the dilemmas of low cultivation awareness, insufficient excavation of resources, and lack of optimization of atmosphere and field. In view of these problems, the strategies of enhancing cultivation awareness, excavating the resources in-depth,and creating a positive atmosphere and field provide new ideas and methods for ideological and political education in primary and secondary schools.
文摘Rule of law education in primary and secondary schools is an educational process to popularize legal knowledge, establish legal awareness, and cultivate the ability to respect, abide by,and use the law for the special group of primary and secondary school students. The research found that rule of law education in primary and secondary schools in Chaoshan has yielded positive outcomes. However, there exist problems such as uneven synergy, incomplete inclusion of teachers and students, shortage of adequately trained professional teachers, and the need for enhanced organizational support. The relevance and effectiveness of rule of law education in primary and secondary schools will be enhanced by clarifying the target tasks, enhancing the effectiveness of the classroom, creating an atmosphere of the rule of law,and strengthening organizational support.

文摘With the vigorous development of social economy in China, various advanced technologies and equipment have emerged, among which artificial intelligence(AI)has rapidly developed and achieved remarkable results when applied to many fields. Therefore, leaders and teachers in primary and secondary schools should pay more attention to AI education and explore effective measures to optimize the effectiveness of this education.Among them, carrying out artificial intelligence education and teaching from the perspective of thinking quality, with an aim to improve students’technical ability and effectively cultivate their thinking skills, may improve students’learning efficiency and teachers’teaching efficiency. How to carry out AI education from the perspective of thinking quality is an important issue that teachers need to address urgently.Through in-depth research,we focus on this issue,in hope to benefit primary and secondary school teachers.
文摘Music education under the frame name of arts education has been integrated into the primary and secondary education curriculums in Hong Kong for more than 20 years, starting from 2001,the year of launching the Learning to Learn curriculum for the reconstruction of the education system for the younger generation.Music education, embedded into the arts education, was therefore regarded as one of the key subjects to cultivate and uplift student holistic development, focusing on aesthetic skill training and moral growth development. This research was an exploration study of music teaching practices from two private international and two general public school music teachers at the primary school level. The value of this study rested on borrowing the idea of Shulman’s pedagogical content knowledge(PCK)principle to create a social constructivist music teaching framework from five commonly-used instructional methods, namely,Orff,Kodaly,Dalcrozes,Suzuki, and Gordon’s approaches.Based on the evaluations of these four case studies, hypotheses on the differences in the PCK were tested with the types of schools and found to be no difference. The preliminary results suggested that music teachers in private international schools had similar pedagogical approaches to music instruction to teachers in aided-public schools.Additionally, the modeling, guiding, and training approach was identified as a grounded teaching method for music education at the primary school level regardless of different types of schools.Other implications like the further development of the framework were discussed.
文摘In the digital age, traditional media ethics norms lack sufficient explanatory power and binding force in practice. This paper uses the“Primary School Student Lost Homework in Paris”incident as a case study to explore the ethical controversies surrounding the dissemination of this event.By adopting a hierarchical media ethics perspective, the paper dynamically examines the ethical conduct of various communicators, elucidates the ethical responsibilities of each party involved, and reveals the complexity of communication ethics in the digital age.
文摘The use of role models for learning and publicity is widespread in China.By comparing four sets of primary school textbooks complied and published by People’s Education Press between 1999 and 2005,this study reveals the similarities and differences between these textbooks with regard to the positive role models covered and the virtues conveyed. The major role models in both versions of the textbooks can be characterized as representing four main types of persons:children,Han Chinese, males, and modern people. However, the occupations of these role models are more diverse in the new textbooks, and the more recent editions place more emphasis on moral values such as“protecting the environment,”“loving peace,”and“promoting democratic cooperation.”The implications of the findings and the potential problems arising in the textbooks are discussed at the end, particularly noting the changing mode of regulation with regard to the individual-collective relationship.
