The centralized radio access cellular network infrastructure based on centralized Super Base Station(CSBS) is a promising solution to reduce the high construction cost and energy consumption of conventional cellular n...The centralized radio access cellular network infrastructure based on centralized Super Base Station(CSBS) is a promising solution to reduce the high construction cost and energy consumption of conventional cellular networks. With CSBS, the computing resource for communication protocol processing could be managed flexibly according the protocol load to improve the resource efficiency. Since the protocol load changes frequently and may exceed the capacity of processors, load balancing is needed. However, existing load balancing mechanisms used in data centers cannot satisfy the real-time requirement of the communication protocol processing. Therefore, a new computing resource adjustment scheme is proposed for communication protocol processing in the CSBS architecture. First of all, the main principles of protocol processing resource adjustment is concluded, followed by the analysis on the processing resource outage probability that the computing resource becomes inadequate for protocol processing as load changes. Following the adjustment principles, the proposed scheme is designed to reduce the processing resource outage probability based onthe optimized connected graph which is constructed by the approximate Kruskal algorithm. Simulation re-sults show that compared with the conventional load balancing mechanisms, the proposed scheme can reduce the occurrence number of inadequate processing resource and the additional resource consumption of adjustment greatly.展开更多

Filtering is realized by combining neural networks with the nonlinear Schroedinger equation and the time-variant probability density function of signals is estimated by solution of the equation. It is shown that obviously different performances can be achieved by the control of weight coefficients of potential fields. Based on this characteristic, a novel filtering algorithm is proposed, and utilizing this algorithm, the nonlinear waveform distortion of output signals and the denoising capability of the filters can be compromised. This will make the application of quantum stochastic filters be greatly extended, such as in applying the filters to the processing of communication signals. The predominant performance of quantum stochastic filters is shown by simulation results.展开更多

The factors, such as external interference, result in satellite information interaction delays, which is unable to ensure the integrity and timeliness of the information on decision making for satellites. And the optimization of the planning result is affected. Therefore, the effect of communication delay is considered during the multi-satel ite coordinating process. For this problem, firstly, a distributed cooperative optimization problem for multiple satellites in the delayed communication environment is formulized. Secondly, based on both the analysis of the temporal sequence of tasks in a single satellite and the dynamically decoupled characteristics of the multi-satellite system, the environment information of multi-satellite distributed cooperative optimization is constructed on the basis of the directed acyclic graph(DAG). Then, both a cooperative optimization decision making framework and a model are built according to the decentralized partial observable Markov decision process(DEC-POMDP). After that, a satellite coordinating strategy aimed at different conditions of communication delay is mainly analyzed, and a unified processing strategy on communication delay is designed. An approximate cooperative optimization algorithm based on simulated annealing is proposed. Finally, the effectiveness and robustness of the method presented in this paper are verified via the simulation.展开更多

So far, existing protocols of this type only provide a de...It is striking that the quantum Zeno effect can be used to launch a direct counterfactual communication between two spatially separated parties, Alice and Bob. So far, existing protocols of this type only provide a deterministic counterfactual communication service. However, this counterfactuality should be payed at a price. Firstly, the transmission time is much longer than a classical transmission costs. Secondly, the chained-cycle structure makes them more sensitive to channel noises. Here, we extend the idea of counterfactual communication, and present a probabilistic-counterfactual quantum communication protocol, which is proved to have advantages over the deterministic ones. Moreover, the presented protocol could evolve to a deterministic one solely by adjusting the parameters of the beam splitters.展开更多

The main characteristics and the classifications of P2P systems are discussed. Considering the requirements of P2P application modeling and referring to the component-based modeling thought, a description method based on communicating sequential processes (CSP)is proposed for the P2P network models. By using a CSP process group, this method can describe the dynamic interactive relationship which focuses on multiparty concurrent interaction of P2P systems more advantageously and accurately. The application of nondeterministic semantemes of CSP in describing the interactive relationship of P2P networks is discussed. The advantages and description abilities of the proposed method are demonstrated through the modeling of a new P2P media-on-demand system.展开更多
For the first time in the world, underwater acoustic transmission of images, human voice, data and texts between vehicle under 7000 m depth and surface ship was accomplished by underwater acoustic communication system...For the first time in the world, underwater acoustic transmission of images, human voice, data and texts between vehicle under 7000 m depth and surface ship was accomplished by underwater acoustic communication system of manned deep submersible Jiaolong'. In this paper, signal processing in underwater acoustic communication system for manned deep submersible "Jiaolong" is introduced. (1) Four communication methods are integrated to meet different needs: 1) coherent underwater acoustic communication, with a variable transmission rate from 5 kbps to 15 kbps, to transmit images. 2) Non-coherent underwater acoustic com- munication, with a transmission rate 300 bps, to transmit texts, instructions, and sensor data. 3) Spread spectrum underwater acoustic communication, with a transmission rate 16 bps, to transmit instructions. 4) Underwater voice communication, using single sideband modulation to transmit hmnan voice. (2) Signal processing method in coherent communication mainly consists of concatenation of decision feedback equalizer and Turbo decoder, and wavelet based image compression with fixed length coding. In the equalizer, Doppler compensation, multi- channel combining and equalizer coefficients updating are all using fast self-optimized adaptive algorithm. (3) A linear hydrophone array is lowered from the mother ship to certain depth, and spatial diversity combining technology is adopted. (4) Diving trials of "Jiaolong" were carried out in Pacific Ocean. The communication range can cover nearly all ocean depth. One optical/acoustic image can be transmitted in 7 or 14 seconds.展开更多

Noncoherent underwater acoustic communication channel in adverse conditions is modeled as a phase-random Rayleigh fading channel,and its capacity curve is derived.To approach the channel capacity curve,the concatenate...Noncoherent underwater acoustic communication channel in adverse conditions is modeled as a phase-random Rayleigh fading channel,and its capacity curve is derived.To approach the channel capacity curve,the concatenated code of the nonbinary LDPC code and the constant weight code is proposed for noncoherent communication which can late be iteratively decoded in the probability domain.Without information of channel amplitude or phase in the receiver,statistic parameters of the respective signal and noise bins were estimated based on the moment estimation method,the posterior probabilities of the constant weight code words were further calculated,and the nonbinary LDPC code was decoded with the nonbinary factor graph algorithm.It is verified by simulations that by utilizing the proposed concatenated code and its processing algorithm,gap to channel capacity curve is reduced by 3 dB when compared to the existing method.Underwater communication experiments were carried out in both deep ocean(vertical communication,5 km)and shallow lake(horizontal communication,near 3 km,delay spread larger than 50 ms),in which the signal frequency band was 6 kHz to10 kHz,and the data transmission rate Was 357 bps.The proposed scheme can work properly in both experiments with a signal-to-noise ratio threshold of 2 dB.The performance of the proposed algorithm Was well verified by the experiments.展开更多

The proposed device will be tested in the Lamkansa district, in the southwestern part of Casablanca city, Morocco. The approach used is a systemic analysis of communication in order to act on a territory. We have been inspired by several methodological developments concerning multi-actor processes of land use planning. We focused our work on the involvement of the inhabitants in the process of household waste collect. The results show that the urban population can help and contribute to the development of complementary solutions to improve the urban environment and their living environment. Moreover, by integrating citizens in HWC processes, as well as decision communication, we can reduce household waste management costs and make it faster and more efficient, through a geo-collaborative, participatory and incentive logic. The approach described in this article is original, not only considering the technologies used to present and share the collected information, but also regarding the concept of integrating several actors in a collaborative/incentive mode. It arouses great interest by combining geomatics with communication and information sciences. It contributes to improve the participation of the inhabitants in the life of their urban environment in order to establish a reinforced dialogue on the future of their city and public health. Also, it involves the development and testing of new devices and tools for multi-actor collaboration.展开更多

The current study applied classic communication models to investigating 34 laureate impromptu speeches at the 2010 and 2011 "FLTRP (Foreign Language Teaching and Research Press) Cup" English Speaking Contest, one ...The current study applied classic communication models to investigating 34 laureate impromptu speeches at the 2010 and 2011 "FLTRP (Foreign Language Teaching and Research Press) Cup" English Speaking Contest, one of the most influential of its kind in China, to identify the features of public speaking skills of Advanced Chinese EFL learners. The speech scripts and video excerpts from the subsequent manuscript collection with the CD-Rom published by FLTRP were studied. Lucas' framework of speech communication process was borrowed to bridge elements of the communication models and speech delivery process. Three key aspects of the speakers' encoding endeavors were under close examination: the verbal preferences, the non-verbal preferences, and the topic selection for exemplification. It was found that successful speakers demonstrated a clear and strong audience orientation. They chose more first person pronouns, fewer abstract words, a controlled number of dependent clauses, clear transition words, and limited figures of speech. They used very few verbal fillers, slips of tongue, a moderate speech rate and varied tone inflections. The speakers also showed distinctive features in gestures, eye contact and facial expressions. They employed anecdotes which shared a common field of experience. Pedagogical implications on the teaching of public speaking were discussed.展开更多

In this review, we present an overview of the progress achieved so far in the field of hyperentanglement in photon systems and some of its important applications in quantum information processing, including hyperentanglement generation, complete hyperentangled-Bell-state analysis, hyperentanglement concentration, and hyperentanglement purification for high-capacity long-distance quantum communication. According to the rules that have been defined, the corresponding translation algorithm is designed and illustrated with examples . The methods for model checking, model verification and model simulation are also introduced.

文摘Noncoherent underwater acoustic communication channel in adverse conditions is modeled as a phase-random Rayleigh fading channel,and its capacity curve is derived.To approach the channel capacity curve,the concatenated code of the nonbinary LDPC code and the constant weight code is proposed for noncoherent communication which can late be iteratively decoded in the probability domain.Without information of channel amplitude or phase in the receiver,statistic parameters of the respective signal and noise bins were estimated based on the moment estimation method,the posterior probabilities of the constant weight code words were further calculated,and the nonbinary LDPC code was decoded with the nonbinary factor graph algorithm.It is verified by simulations that by utilizing the proposed concatenated code and its processing algorithm,gap to channel capacity curve is reduced by 3 dB when compared to the existing method.Underwater communication experiments were carried out in both deep ocean(vertical communication,5 km)and shallow lake(horizontal communication,near 3 km,delay spread larger than 50 ms),in which the signal frequency band was 6 kHz to10 kHz,and the data transmission rate Was 357 bps.The proposed scheme can work properly in both experiments with a signal-to-noise ratio threshold of 2 dB.The performance of the proposed algorithm Was well verified by the experiments.
文摘The aim of this paper is to develop a Multi-Actor Geo-Collaborative Device to improve the processes of household waste collect (HWC) in urban areas. The proposed device will be tested in the Lamkansa district, in the southwestern part of Casablanca city, Morocco. The approach used is a systemic analysis of communication in order to act on a territory. We have been inspired by several methodological developments concerning multi-actor processes of land use planning. We focused our work on the involvement of the inhabitants in the process of household waste collect. The results show that the urban population can help and contribute to the development of complementary solutions to improve the urban environment and their living environment. Moreover, by integrating citizens in HWC processes, as well as decision communication, we can reduce household waste management costs and make it faster and more efficient, through a geo-collaborative, participatory and incentive logic. The approach described in this article is original, not only considering the technologies used to present and share the collected information, but also regarding the concept of integrating several actors in a collaborative/incentive mode. It arouses great interest by combining geomatics with communication and information sciences. It contributes to improve the participation of the inhabitants in the life of their urban environment in order to establish a reinforced dialogue on the future of their city and public health. Also, it involves the development and testing of new devices and tools for multi-actor collaboration.

文摘Multi-user detection is one of the important technical problems for moderncommunications. In the field of quantum communication, the multi-access channel onwhich we apply the technology of quantum information processing is still an openquestion. In this work, we investigate the multi-user detection problem based on thebinary coherent-state signals whose communication way is supposed to be seen as aquantum channel. A binary phase shift keying model of this multi-access channel isstudied and a novel method of quantum detection proposed according to the conclusionof the quantum measurement theory. As a result, the average interference betweendeferent users is presented and the average error probability of the quantum detection isderived theoretically. Finally, we show the maximum channel capacity of this effectivedetection for a two-access quantum channel.

文摘The current study applied classic communication models to investigating 34 laureate impromptu speeches at the 2010 and 2011 "FLTRP (Foreign Language Teaching and Research Press) Cup" English Speaking Contest, one of the most influential of its kind in China, to identify the features of public speaking skills of Advanced Chinese EFL learners. The speech scripts and video excerpts from the subsequent manuscript collection with the CD-Rom published by FLTRP were studied. Lucas' framework of speech communication process was borrowed to bridge elements of the communication models and speech delivery process. Three key aspects of the speakers' encoding endeavors were under close examination: the verbal preferences, the non-verbal preferences, and the topic selection for exemplification. It was found that successful speakers demonstrated a clear and strong audience orientation. They chose more first person pronouns, fewer abstract words, a controlled number of dependent clauses, clear transition words, and limited figures of speech. They used very few verbal fillers, slips of tongue, a moderate speech rate and varied tone inflections. The speakers also showed distinctive features in gestures, eye contact and facial expressions. They employed anecdotes which shared a common field of experience. Pedagogical implications on the teaching of public speaking were discussed.

文摘Hyperentanglement is a promising resource in quantum information processing with its high capacity character, defined as the entanglement in multiple degrees of freedom(DOFs) of a quantum system, such as polarization, spatial-mode, orbit-angular-momentum, time-bin and frequency DOFs of photons.Recently, hyperentanglement attracts much attention as all the multiple DOFs can be used to carry information in quantum information processing fully. In this review, we present an overview of the progress achieved so far in the field of hyperentanglement in photon systems and some of its important applications in quantum information processing, including hyperentanglement generation, complete hyperentangled-Bell-state analysis, hyperentanglement concentration, and hyperentanglement purification for high-capacity long-distance quantum communication. Also, a scheme for hyper-controlled-not gate is introduced for hyperparallel photonic quantum computation, which can perform two controlled-not gate operations on both the polarization and spatial-mode DOFs and depress the resources consumed and the photonic dissipation.
文摘Discourse pragmatics interprets the context-specific meaning of communicative events underlining texts in use. It is a cross-disciplinary study based on pragmatics, social linguistics and discourse analysis. This paper uses the theories and dynamic descriptions of conversation analysis and thematic structure analysis to examine two real texts for their textual and interpersonal meanings in order to illustrate the necessity as well as the feasibility of applying modern linguistic theories in transforming traditional methods of language teaching.

Logarithmic Area Ratio (LAN).[2] quanrizarion for short term Parameters and eeeicient adaptive codebook search are used. An overlapping center-clipping codebook and the fonnufor for fast searching are proposed. The MOS of the synthesized speech is over 3.5.
