Using approximation technique, we introduce the concepts of canonical extension and symmetrio integral for jump process and obtain some results in the chaotic form.

In the present paper the abundant geological and petroleum information accumulated in process of industry oil and gas exploration and development of the Erlian basin group is comprehensively analyzed, the structures related to formation of basin are systematically studied, and the complete extensional tectonic system of this basin under conditions of wide rift setting and low extensional ratio is revealed by contrasting study with Basin and Range Province of the western America. Based on the above studies and achievements of the former workers, the deep background of the basin development is treated.展开更多

UHP relic structures, including massive eclogites with a weak foliation, UHP shear zones and A type folds, that are preserved in less retrograde metamorphism and deformation overprinted eclogite lenses can be recognized using the tectonic analysis. Examples are drawn from the Chengmagang area and Hejiawan area, Hubei; Bixiling area, Anhui, and Donghai area, northern Jiangsu. A speculative kinematic model is proposed for the collision between the cratons based on the UHP relic structures studied, in combination with the data of petrography, geochronology and P T path of UHP metamorphic rocks in the studied region which were reported in literature. It is stressed that only the early UHP relic structures, particularly, regionally consistent foliation and stretching lineations, record and reflect the formation of the UHP metamorphic rocks, and the relative dynamic and kinematic process related to the Triassic NNE directed oblique collision between the Sino Korean and Yangtze cratons.展开更多

While it is established that brain functions primarily rely on neuronal activity, an active contribution of astrocytes to information processing is only starting to be considered. There is growing evidence that astrocytes, as part of the tripartite synapse, participate in this challenge by receiving and integrating neuronal signals and, in turn, by sending signals that target neurons[1]. The involvement of astrocytes in information processing has mainly been studied at the level of the single astrocyte, often missing the role of astrocyte networks in this process.展开更多

The Shuanghu graben is composed of a series of nearly parallel NE to NNE-trending normal faults. Studies on fault geometry, kinematics and sedimentation in the fault-controlled basin suggest that the faults activated periodically and their early activities began in the Pliocene, which caused the unconformable contact between the Pliocene and the subjacent Shuanghu Formation, as well as between the Pliocene and the overlying Quaternary. The movement rates of the faults had been strikingly increased since Quaternary when the faults activated intensively. The graben resulted from the gravitational spreading after the uplift of the Tibetan Plateau. It is indicated that the collapse has been on setting in plateau hinterland.展开更多
