In this research, effects of major parameters of thermo mechanical tube spinning process such as preform's thickness, percentage of thickness reduction, mandrel rotational speed, feed rate, solution treatment time and aging treatment time on the wall thickness changes and process time in thermo-mechanical tube spinning process for fabrication of 2024 aluminum spun tubes using design of experiments (DOE), are studied. The statistical results are verified through some experiments. Results of experimental evaluation are analyzed by variance analysis and mathematic models are obtained. A time series model is used in this paper to describe the progress of circulating direct condensation heat recovery of the compound condensing process (CCP) which is made of two water cooling condensing processes in series for a centrifugal chiller in the paper. A finite-time thermodynamics method is used to set up the time series simulation model. As a result, an upper bound of recoverable condensation heat for the compound condensing process is obtained which is in good agreement with experimental result. With the advancement of technology and the increase in user demands, gesture recognition played a pivotal role in the field of human-computer interaction. Among various sensing devices, Time-of-Flight (ToF) sensors were widely applied due to their low cost. This paper explored the implementation of a human hand posture recognition system using ToF sensors and residual neural networks. Firstly, this paper reviewed the typical applications of human hand recognition. Secondly, this paper designed a hand gesture recognition system using a ToF sensor VL53L5. Subsequently, data preprocessing was conducted, followed by training the constructed residual neural network. Then, the recognition results were analyzed, indicating that gesture recognition based on the residual neural network achieved an accuracy of 98.5% in a 5-class classification scenario. Our aim is to find an optimal schedule so as to minimize the objective function. As the problem is NP-hard, some properties and polynomial time solvable cases of this problem are given. To overcome the deficiencies addressed in the conventional PID control and improve the dynamic performance and robustness of the system,a simple design and parameters tuning approach of internal model control-PID(IMC-PID) controller was proposed for the first order plus time-delay(FOPTD) process and the second order plus time-delay(SOPTD) process.By approximating the time-delay term of the process model with the first-order Taylor series,the expressions for IMC-PID controller parameters were derived,and they had only one adjustable parameter λ which was directly related to the dynamic performance and robustness of the system.Moreover,an analytical approach of selecting λ was given based on the maximum sensitivity Ms.Then,the robust tuning of the system could be achieved according to the value of Ms.In addition,the proposed method could be extended to the integrator plus time-delay(IPTD) process and the first order delay integrating(FODI) process.Simulation studies were carried out on various processes with time-delay,and the results show that the proposed method could provide a better dynamic performance of both the set-point tracking and disturbance rejection and robustness against parameters perturbation. 展开更多

For the first-order integrating processes with long delay, the disturbance observer-based 2DoF control scheme is analyzed in detail with regard to the control input limitation. After that, a simple anti-windup scheme, without an additional parameter, is proposed to compensate for the adverse effects of the input saturation. The proposed method can properly keep the control signal saturated for an optimum length of time without discarding the control energy. The simulation results show that the control input saturation can dramatically degrade the closed loop system performance. Under the nominal and model uncertainty cases, the controller with anti-windup strategy will obtain fast and smooth responses. Furthermore, the simulation results illustrate that the proposed anti-windup scheme may achieve good performance for the high order integrating processes with long delay. 展开更多

Considering the fact that the default value of processing time of one certain equipment in the simulation model was not the same as its actual value,a general data driven prediction model of the processing time was built based on support vector regression( SVR),with the utilization of manufacturing information in manufacturing execution system( MES). The processing time of one certain equipment was highly related to the status of the equipment itself and the wafers being processed. To uncover the relationship of the processing time with the information of historical products,process flow,technical standard of silicon wafers and manual intervention,data were extracted from MES and used to build a prediction model. This model was employed on an ion implantation equipment as a case, and the effectiveness of the proposed method was shown by comparing with other approaches. 展开更多

The techniques widely used in ultrasonic measurements are based on the determination of the time of flight (T.o.F). A short train of waves is transmitted and same transducer is used for reception of the reflected signal for the pulse-echo measurement applications. The amplitude of the received waveform is an envelope which starts from zero reaches to a peak and then dies out. The echoes are mostly detected by simple threshold crossing technique, which is also cause of error. In this paper digital signal processing is used to calculate the time delay in reception i.e. T.o.F, for which a maximum similarity between the reference and the delayed echo signals is obtained. To observe the effect of phase uncertainties and frequency shifts (Doppler), this processing is carried out, both directly on the actual wave shape and after extracting the envelopes of the reference and delayed echo signals. Several digital signal processing algorithms are considered and the effects of different factors such as sampling rate, resolution of digitization and S/N ratio are analyzed. Result show accuracy, computing time and cost for different techniques. 展开更多

Considering the two-dimension(2 D) characteristic and the unknown optimal trajectory problem of the batch processes, an integrated model predictive control-iterative learning control(MPC-ILC) for batch processes is proposed in this paper. Firstly, the batch-axis information and time-axis information are combined into one quadratic performance index. It implies the integration of ILC and MPC algorithm idea, which leads to superior tracking performance and better robustness against disturbance and uncertainty. To address the problem of the unknown optimal trajectory, both time-varying prediction horizon and end product quality control are employed. Moreover, an integrated 2 D just-in-time learning(JITL) model is used to improve the predictive accuracy. Furthermore, rigorous description and proof are presented to prove the convergence and tracking performance of the proposed MPC-ILC strategy. A lemma is proposed and proved. In no deadline constrained condition, the problem belongs to polynomial time algorithm. It is proved by using 3 partition that if the problem is deadline constrained, its complexity is strong NP hard. Finally, a conjuncture is proposed that is to be proved. 展开更多

First, the outline of real-time pricing systems is explained. Next, a model of a set of customers is derived as a multi-agent MDP.
