This paper summarizes the important progress in the field of oil and gas production engineering during the"Thirteenth Five-Year Plan"period of China,analyzes the challenges faced by the current oil and gas production engineering in terms of technological adaptability,digital construction,energy-saving and emission reduction,and points out the future development direction.During the"Thirteenth Five-Year Plan"period,series of important progresses have been made in five major technologies,including separated-layer injection,artificial lift,reservoir stimulation,gas well de-watering,and workover,which provide key technical support for continuous potential tapping of mature oilfields and profitable production of new oilfields.Under the current complex international political and economic situation,oil and gas production engineering is facing severe challenges in three aspects:technical difficulty increases in oil and gas production,insignificant improvements in digital transformation,and lack of core technical support for energy-saving and emission reduction.This paper establishes three major strategic directions and implementation paths,including oil stabilization and gas enhancement,digital transformation,and green and low-carbon development.Five key research areas are listed including fine separated-layer injection technology,high efficiency artificial lift technology,fine reservoir stimulation technology,long term gas well de-watering technology and intelligent workover technology,so as to provide engineering technical support for the transformation,upgrading and high-quality development of China’s oil and gas industry. 展开更多

WebGIS is the result of combining the technology of Internet with that of Geographic Information Systems (GIS). This paper aims at some problems in the development of GIS, such as the system of development is instable, and presents the method of adopting component technology to accomplish WebGIS middleware which has been successfully applied to the Oil Production Engineering information visible system. It showed in practice that the WebGIS middleware can be casily embedded in the web pages to accomplish GIS application system in a network environment. On the one hand, its application can reduce complexity of system and speed up the pace of development. On the other hand, it is certain to reduce the development costs and improve the maintainability. Naphthenic base oil is an important lubricating base oil and very scarce in the global petroleum resources.Herein,a series of alkylated tetralin fluids similar to naphthenic base oils were produced by the alkylation of tetralin and a-olefins(n-hexene,n-octene,n-decene)with ionic liquid Et_3NHCl/AlCl_(3)as the catalyst,where the applied raw materials are totally derived from the coal chemical industry.The product composition could be controlled by adjusting the feeding ratio of tetralin and olefin.The synthetic fluids were evaluated as lubricating base oils to reveal the structure-property correlations.Their principal physicochemical and tribological properties depend on the chain-length of a-olefins and the number of alkyl groups onto the aromatic rings.Bis-(octyl-or decyl-)alkyl tetralin exhibited good properties in terms of viscosity,thermo-oxidation stability and pour point,as well as friction-reducing and anti-wear performance,showing great potential for producing naphthenic base synthetic oils from coal-based chemicals. 展开更多

A new business concept that offers products and services in a different way of traditional product-sales businesses is getting more attention especially in manufacturing industries. This paper investigates how this new business by means of integration of products and services is achieved in Germany and Italy. In addition, it analyzes the differences according to the company sizes. The results include that this type of business is in many cases motivated by their focus on customers and often consists of physical products and their maintenance. The Italian companies, as opposed to the German ones, often design their physical products specifically for this type of offers. From the analysis based on the size difference, small companies are found to achieve specific design for this type of offers while owning physical products. There do not seem to be any established methods or tools developed to support the development of such offers and within such methods/tools there would be room for more adaptation in form of physical product design. 展开更多

Plant natural products have been particularly important due to their use in food, cosmetic, and pharmaceutical industries. In particular, Traditional Chinese Medicine provides a precious potential for the discovery of bioactive natural products and development of novel modern medicines. However, the existing production methods for plant natural products such as chemical synthesis and plant extraction does not meet the current demand. Due to their environmental and economic concerns, engineered production of valuable natural products in microbial hosts has become an attractive alternative platform. This review covers the recent advances in the engineered production of plant natural products in microorganisms. A special focus was placed on the biotechnological production of plant-derived terpenoids, flavonoids, and alkaloids. Some successful examples of engineered production of plant natural products(or their precursors) such as artemisinin, paclitaxel, naringenin, quercetin, berberine, and noscapine are summarized. This clearly indicates that the engineered production method is a promising approach with various advantages over current methods. 展开更多
