With the rapid advancements in technology,especially in digitalization and intelligence,numerous modern technologies have poured into rural schools,effectively improving their informatization conditions.Nevertheless,t...With the rapid advancements in technology,especially in digitalization and intelligence,numerous modern technologies have poured into rural schools,effectively improving their informatization conditions.Nevertheless,these technologies remain detached from rural teachers,failing to significantly enhance the quality of education and teaching in rural areas.Rural education is a crucial aspect of ensuring balanced development in education.The question of how to enhance rural teachers’technological application abilities and fully leverage the positive role of technology in rural education and teaching has become a significant topic of current research on rural education issues.To better address this question,this study conducted a thorough examination of the specific appeals of rural teachers in the process of technology enablement.It was discovered that rural teachers generally face dilemmas such as insufficient technological application abilities,difficulties in obtaining quality teaching resources,and the lack of continuous technical support and update mechanisms.Based on these findings,specific pathways such as strengthening rural teacher training,optimizing the allocation of educational resources,and establishing mechanisms for continuous technical support and updates are proposed to aid in the high-quality development of rural education.展开更多

It has been developed from w...This paper outlines a curriculum model for contemporary programme design for the purpose of embedding educational innovation and technology within an inter-professional nursing curriculum. It has been developed from work within the School of Nursing and Midwifery at Keele University during the re-write of both the nursing and midwifery curriculum. The Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) require approval of all recordable programmes every five years and as such the school took this review as an opportunity to explore the curriculum model currently in use and develop an approach that would facilitate the professional requirements of the programme alongside the embedding of innovative learning and teaching methodologies. The model springs from extensive application of contemporary pedagogy underpinning adult learning, and forces consideration of cognitive alignment within a multi-modal delivery framework [1]. The model builds upon the early work of Fowler and Mayes [2] and later work of Bird [3] who explored the antecedents and underpinning theory for success within online learning experiences. This study sought to find out the effects of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) on health service delivery at Tafo Government Hospital. A descriptive survey design was used. Data were collected through the...This study sought to find out the effects of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) on health service delivery at Tafo Government Hospital. A descriptive survey design was used. Data were collected through the use of semi-structured questionnaire and administered to 50 respondents where stratified random sampling technique was used by ranking position as strata. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics. From the findings, 56% of the respondents overwhelmingly agreed to the fact that the applications of ICT provide quicker medical diagnoses, reduced workload among users, improvement in patients’ waiting time and information accessibility. Nonetheless, 72% bemoaned lack of ICT infrastructure, poor ICT network concerns coupled with that insufficient knowledge on the use of ICT could impede the impact of ICT in quality service delivery. This could be deduced from the findings that ICT improves collaboration and clinical decision support in facilitating clinical work flow integration among nurses and other medical professionals. Moreover, the findings above affirm the fact that without electricity, ICT infrastructure, insufficient skills and technical knowledge in dealing with ICT innovations, it is impossible to successfully adopt ICT resources in health care delivery. The above findings show that the majority of healthcare professional generally had a positive attitude towards ICT prospects as they rated their skill as fairly well. The study recommends that the Ministry of Health plays a supporting role by investing in health care ICT.展开更多

The collection of information at the formative stage: followed by process evaluation to assess implementation as the curriculum progresses, and summative evaluation to assess impact is required for accreditation of program in the United States by the Joint Review Committee for Education in Radiologic Technology. Formative evaluation research is used to enhance effectiveness of the curriculum, guide development of teaching and learning strategies, and reveal promising and ineffective components of curriculum.
