Water conservancy engineering construction enterprises should refer to oneself circumstance, and the characteristics of the water conservancy project, determine the quality objectives of specific quality assurance plan and the related measures, clear implementation content, methods and effects. Strictly control the factors influencing the water conservancy engineering quality of many aspects, in the process of the water conservancy project construction, to establish a meet the requirements of the technical process and quality standards, operation procedures. Establish the strict appraisal system, continuous improvement and improve the level of construction technique and technology. However, contents of target entities for assessment are various, and it is very difficult to define the whole scope of TQM. On the other hand, it is very important to define the whole target entities of quality management about the TQM because lack of important target entities may cause significant risk of loss in future. Furthermore, target entities of TQM should correspond to needs and priority of an objective requirement and that should be based on the consideration of basic principle of quality management. In the previous study, we have proposed the “framework of new TQM” of assessment for a total quality management of organizations based on the original concept of “TQM matrix”. On the other hand, we have proposed the view point of “Three-Dimensional Unification Value Models” for an evaluation of system product. Therefore, in this paper, we propose the target entities of whole assessment of quality management of organization totally based on the consideration of “New TQM framework” and the view point of “Three-Dimensional Unification Value Models”. Also, this paper proposes the result of verification based on the result of comparison between proposed target entities of assessment and American Malcolm Baldrige Prize for Performance Excellence.展开更多

The common assumptions in t...The Economic Production Quantity (EPQ) model is commonly used by practitioners in the fields of production and inventory management to assist them in making decision on production lot size. The common assumptions in this model are that all units produced are perfect and shortages are not allowed. But, in real situation the defective items will be produced in each cycle of production and shortages and scrap are possible. These assumptions will underestimate the actual required quantity. Hence, the defective items can not be ignored in the production process. Rework process is necessary to convert those defective into finished goods. This study proposes EPQ model that incorporates both imperfect production quality and falsely not screening out a proportion of defects, thereby passing them on to customers, resulting in defect sales returns. To active this objective a suitable mathematical model is developed and the optimal production lot size which minimizes the total cost is derived. An illustrative example is provided and numerically verified. The validation of result in this model was coded in Microsoft Visual Basic 6.0.展开更多

The effect of CMS design effectiveness on cost information quality is investigated. Moreover, the effect of cost information quality on business success is investigated. Furthermore, executive management support and cost accountant competency are assumed to become the antecedents of CMS design effectiveness. Electronics manufacturing businesses in Thailand are samples of the research. A mail survey procedure via the questionnaire was used for data collection from accounting controllers. The results indicate that CMS design effectiveness has a positive significant effect on cost information quality. Moreover, cost information quality also has a positive significant effect on business success. Additionally, both executive management support and cost accountant competency have a positive significant effect on CMS design effectiveness.展开更多
