The inherent teaching approach can no longer meet the demands of society.In this paper,current issues within the teaching landscape of architectural engineering technology in higher vocational colleges as well as the ...The inherent teaching approach can no longer meet the demands of society.In this paper,current issues within the teaching landscape of architectural engineering technology in higher vocational colleges as well as the policies and teaching demands that formed the basis of this model were analyzed.The study shows the importance of the implementation of the teaching model“promoting teaching and learning through competitions.”This model puts emphasis on the curriculum and teaching resources,while also integrating the teaching process and evaluation with competition.These efforts aim to drive education reform in order to better align with the objectives of vocational education personnel training,while also acting as a reference for similar courses.展开更多

Background: Diabetes self-management education (DSME) for patients with type 2 diabetes requires efficient teaching methods that make patients want to change lifestyle in terms of their diabetes. The study looks at wh...Background: Diabetes self-management education (DSME) for patients with type 2 diabetes requires efficient teaching methods that make patients want to change lifestyle in terms of their diabetes. The study looks at what may be the active ingredient in this DSME. Objective: To explore how participants in DSME, with an interactive learning method, experienced changes in relation to diet and physical activity. Method: We studied possible changes in diet and physical activity by semi-structured individual interviews of 16 participants attending DSME. Results: Before the DSME, the participants felt insecure about what to eat, and they expressed little interest in changing their physical activity. Just after the DSME, they were more optimistic about diet because they had learned how to interpret food labels and compose their meals. Furthermore, they had experienced the benefit of physical activity in relation to their blood glucose levels. Behavior changes appeared to persist the following half year. We discuss the findings in light of the principles of interactive learning. The participants experienced an effect of their behavior changes, and blood glucose measurement was used as a tool to gain control and reach a state of well-being. Conclusion: From being insecure about what to eat, the patients acquired knowledge to handle their diet through the DSME. They learned how to compose their meals and use physical activity to regulate their blood glucose. We suggest that the interactive learning used in the DSME was an active ingredient that led to changes in behavior and should be considered as an educational method in DSME for patient with type 2 diabetes.展开更多
In the socio-professional environment,the existence of values proves to be essential to the individual in order to live in harmony.It is by the search of oneself that you discover the world around you.Under this aspec...In the socio-professional environment,the existence of values proves to be essential to the individual in order to live in harmony.It is by the search of oneself that you discover the world around you.Under this aspect,the philosophy of education can contribute to the conveyance of a decisive reflection on the impact of the educator’s mission on the people who are taught.On the one hand,the relativity of values puts into question their universal dimension,since they diversify in place and time according to different eras but also to different customs of each country.In this case,what is the finality of education and learning in relation to cultural diversification with regard to innovation in teaching?On the other hand,the educator’s personality plays a considerable and effective role in motivating his/her target group to seek out the higher and universal values and disseminate the principles of citizenship.Lastly,with regard to vocational training,the introduction of diversified pedagogical approaches as well as the adoption of learning strategies will enable the Educator to act in full knowledge and awareness of his action while being preoccupied in the management of the pedagogical process.His/her effective intervention will offer the opportunity to the group members to create synergies,in order to develop their unexploited potential and achieve a high level of awareness through the development of their personality.展开更多
