Ultrasound radiomics is an emerging field that can extract quantitative high-dimensional data from ultrasound images. Recently, ultrasound radiomics has been widely used in the clinical treatment of breast cancer. This paper analyzed the research progress of ultrasound radiomics in the diagnosis and treatment of breast cancer.

Research Progress on Conservative Treatment of Lumbar Disc Herniation

Lumbar disc herniation(LDH)is a common orthopedic disease in clinical practice,with main symptoms of varying degrees of pain and functional impairment,seriously affecting the quality of work and life of patients,and also causing a certain degree of economic burden to the patient's family and society.At present,there are various conservative treatment methods for LDH in clinical practice.Conservative treatment has the characteristics of small trauma and high safety,which can achieve symptom relief and cure for most patients in clinical practice.This article aims to provide a scientific reference for the selection of treatment plans for LDH patients by reviewing relevant literature on conservative treatment of LDH that has been publicly reported both domestically and internationally in recent years.

Research Progress of Traditional Chinese Medicine External Treatment for Cancer Pain

Cancer pain,as a common complication in patients with malignant tumors,is regarded as the fifth vital sign.The involvement of traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)in the treatment of malignant tumors has become a distinctive feature of oncology treatment in China.It is also an important component of cancer pain management.TCM analgesic treatments include various methods,such as internal medicine and external therapies.External analgesic therapies,in particular,are significant methods in TCM pain management and offer both local treatment and systemic regulation.These methods are simple,easy to perform,and non-invasive.They can enhance pain relief effects while reducing the difficulty of oral medication intake and avoiding adverse gastrointestinal reactions,providing new perspectives and approaches for cancer pain treatment with broad development prospects.This article provides a review of the external TCM therapies for cancer pain to share with peers in the field.

The current role of dendritic cells in the progression and treatment of colorectal cancer

Colorectal cancer(CRC)is the third most common cancer and the second leading cause of cancer-related deaths worldwide.Dendritic cells(DCs)constitute a heterogeneous group of antigen-presenting cells that are important for initiating and regulating both innate and adaptive immune responses.As a crucial component of the immune system,DCs have a pivotal role in the pathogenesis and clinical treatment of CRC.DCs cross-present tumor-related antigens to activate T cells and trigger an antitumor immune response.However,the antitumor immune function of DCs is impaired and immune tolerance is promoted due to the presence of the tumor microenvironment.This review systematically elucidates the specific characteristics and functions of different DC subsets,as well as the role that DCs play in the immune response and tolerance within the CRC microenvironment.Moreover,how DCs contribute to the progression of CRC and potential therapies to enhance antitumor immunity on the basis of existing data are also discussed,which will provide new perspectives and approaches for immunotherapy in patients with CRC.

Objective:To review the research progress of using Chinese medicine ginseng to prevent and treat AIDS in China.Methods:Based on the method of TCM syndrome differentiation,Chinese medical researchers divided AIDS into four types:heat toxin stagnation type,Qi and blood deficiency type,stasis and internal resistance type,and Qi and Yin injury type.Results:The therapeutic effects of the compound preparation of traditional Chinese medicine were significant,such as Aikang capsule,Tangcao tablet,Wuweilingqi capsule,Aining granule,compound Sanhuang powder,etc.Astragalus,licorice,honeysuckle,Scutellaria,bupleurum,Salvia miltiorrhiza,Viola,Hedyotis diffusa and other 8 kinds of traditional Chinese medicine have been proved to have anti HIV effect.Conclusion:Among the 27 kinds of Chinese medicine ginseng,Andrographis paniculata,Viola,Arnebia,Arctium lappa,Sophora flavescens,honeysuckle,Guanzhong,Prunella,Coptis,Wolfberry,Wedelia and epimedium have been proved to have the effect of preventing HIV replication.

CLINICAL OBSERVATION ON COMBINED TREATMENT OF 360 CASES OF PROSTATITIS WITH ACUPUNCTURE OF SISHENCHONG POINT, ETC. AND SELF-DRAFTED PRESCRIPTION I, II AND III

In the present series of observations, 360 cases of prostatitis were treated with acupuncture of Sishenchong (EX HN 1), etc. and self drafted prescription I, II and III. After 4 courses (28 sessions) of treatment, 321 cases (89.17%) were cured, 35 cases (9.72%) had improvement and 4 cases (1.11%) failed. The total effective rate was 98.89%.

The progress and related pharmacological mechanism of hyperlipidemia treatment

Hyperlipidemia(HLP)is a long-known risk factor for a series of cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases,such as atherosclerosis,coronary heart disease,hypertension and so on.With its increasing incidence,the prevention and treatment of HLP has also become an important research topic around the world.Traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)has been used to treat HLP for a long time with its better therapeutic efficacy,less side effects and wider indications compared with western medicine.In this review,we summarized the pathogenesis of HLP,the research situation of disease-related targets,and the treatment progress of TCM by conducting literature research and sorting out relevant information,in order to provide reference for further research of HLP and prevent the occurrence of cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases.

Midline Prostatic Cysts Presenting with Chronic Prostatitis or Secondary Infertility and Minimally Invasive Treatment: Endoscopic or Laparoscopic Approach?

Backgrounds: Surgical interventions especially minimally invasive treatments are recommended for symptomatic midline prostatic cysts. The endoscopic unroofing of cysts close to urethra is easy and simple, but it has little effect on the large cysts and cysts lying deeply, in contrast with the laparoscopic approach. Therefore, the selection of minimally invasive therapeutic approaches is important. The aim of this study is to describe our experience in the diagnosis and selection of minimally invasive treatment for midline prostatic cyst. Methods: 15 cases of midline prostatic cyst were studied.10 cases presented with prostatitis-like symptoms, 1 with dysuria and acute urinary retention, 3 with secondary infertility and the rest 1 with hemospermia. 6 patients presented with small cysts (≤2 cm × 2 cm) close to urethra and underwent transurethral unroofing. The other 9 patients with large cysts (>2 cm × 2 cm) or cysts lying closely behind the prostate received the laparoscopic excision. Results: The average duration of transurethral unroofing and laparoscopic excision was 39 mins and 118 mins respectively, whereas the average time of hospitalization was 2.7 days and 4.5 days respectively. After a follow-up of 21 months, all cases were treated successfully without complications and recurrence. Their prostatitis-like symptoms disappeared, and the three patients presented with secondary infertility achieved conception within one year after the operation. Conclusions: A midline prostatic cyst can present with chronic prostatitis-like symptoms and secondary infertility. It can be cured by minimally invasive treatments, but these procedures should be carefully selected according to the size and location of the cyst.
