Marcelo Dascal University of Bucharest,Bucharest,Romania 1 The modern turn of epistemology offers an open view about the cognitive process,the mechanism of which is discursive.Marcelo Dascal’s epistemological studies belong to the new epistemology.His approach develops the logic of the discursive dynamics of epistemology,with a particular stress on the pragmatic parameters of the philosophical enterprise.The way Marcelo Dascal conceives epistemology could be defined as a kind of logique du vivant was one of the important representatives of the modern turn in epistemology,interested in the investigation of the communicative/pragmatic parameters of cognition.The way Marcelo Dascal conceived epistemology could be defined as a kind of logique du vivant(the logic of the living).The pragmatic dimension of epistemology—in Marcelo Dascal’s interpretation—does not mean an extreme relativity of truth,but a dialectical approach of cognitive means.Marcelo Dascal’s original contribution in epistemology is due to the philosophical convergence that he discovered between Leibniz’principle of rationality and the Talmudic dialectics. 展开更多
