文摘Terahertz time-domain spectroscopy is a kind of far-infrared spectroscopy technology, and its spectrum reflects the internal properties of substances with rich physical and chemical information,so the use of terahertz waves can be used to qualitatively identify food additives containing nitrogen elements.Analytic hierarchy process(AHP)was originally used to solve evaluation-type problems, and this paper introduces it into the field of terahertz spectral qualitative analysis, proposes a terahertz time-domain spectral qualitative identification method combined with analytic hierarchy process, and verifies the feasibility of the method by taking four common food additives(xylitol,L-alanine,sorbic acid, and benzoic acid)and two illegal additives(melamine, and Sudan Red No.I)as the objects of study.Firstly, the collected terahertz time-domain spectral data were pre-processed and transformed into a data set consisting of peaks, peak positions, peak numbers and overall trends;then, the data were divided into comparison and test sets, and a qualitative additive identification model incorporating analytic hierarchy process was constructed and parameter optimisation was performed. The results showed that the qualitative identification accuracies of additives based on single factors,i.e.,overall trend, peak value, peak position, and peak number, were 80.23%,70.93%,67.44%,and 40.70%,respectively,whereas the identification accuracy of the analytic hierarchy process qualitative identification method based on multi-factors could be improved to 92.44%.In addition, the fuzzy characterisation of the absorption spectrum data was binarised in the data pre-processing stage and used as the base data for the overall trend, and the recognition accuracy was improved to 94.19%by combining the fuzzy characterisation method of such data with the hierarchical analysis qualitative recognition model. The results show that it is feasible to use terahertz technology to identify different varieties of additives, and this paper constructs a hierarchical analytical qualitative model with better effect, which provides a new means for food additives detection, and the method is simple in steps, with a small demand for samples, which is suitable for the rapid detection of small samples.

文摘Sanhuang chicken is a popular native breed in China and well-known for delicious flavour.Spices could enhance the chicken meat flavour and work well in preservation.Chinese 5-spice blend(CS)and garam masala(GM)are routinely using spices in China and Pakistan, respectively. The flavour profiles of Sanhuang chicken breast(CB)and its blends with CS and GM were obtained by electronic nose(E-nose),solid-phase microextraction gas chromatography-mass spectrometry(SPME GC-MS)and GC-ion mobility spectrometry(GC-IMS).Principal component analysis(PCA)efficiently discriminated the aroma profiles of three chicken formulations. The GC-chromatographs revealed the significant aroma alterations of chicken breast meat after marination with spices.Aldehydes were the major contributors of chicken aroma, while most of the aromatic hydrocarbons were generated by spices.Almost all chicken key-compounds produced by oxidation reaction were either reduced or eliminated by marination, showing the antioxidation capacity of spices leading to meat preservation.GC-IMS is not only a rapid and comprehensive detection method, but also proved to be more sensitive than GC-MS.The substantial role of both traditional spices in enhancing flavour quality of chicken meat, and their exposure as functional ingredients in Chinese and Pakistan cuisines could lead to the cross-cultural meat trade opportunities.
文摘This research aims to understand the fractional order dynamics of the deadly Nipah virus(NiV)disease. We focus on using piecewise derivatives in the context of classical and singular kernels of power operators in the Caputo sense to investigate the crossover behavior of the considered dynamical system. We establish some qualitative results about the existence and uniqueness of the solution to the proposed problem.By utilizing the Newtonian polynomials interpolation technique,we recall a powerful algorithm to interpret the numerical findings for the aforesaid model. Here,we remark that the said viral infection is caused by an RNA type virus which can transmit from animals and also from an infected person to person.Fruits bats which are also known as flying foxes are one of the sources of transmission of NiV disease. Here in this work,we investigate its transmission mechanism through some new concepts of fractional calculus for further analysis and prediction. We present the approximate results for different compartments using different fractional orders.By using the piecewise derivative concept,we detect the crossover ormulti-steps behavior in the transmission dynamics of the mentioned disease. Therefore, the considered form of the derivative is used to deal with problems exhibiting crossover behaviors.
文摘Objective To understand the perceptions of pregnant Jordanian women who received antenatal care via mobile clinic, and to contribute new insights into the experiences of these mothers and how they evaluated the services that were available. Methods Ten Jordanian mothers who had received antenatal care at a mobile clinic discussed their experiences in semi-structured,audiotaped interviews in a study that adopted a qualitative research design. The analysis was done using interpretative phenomenological analysis. Results Three main themes were identified:Being informed about the medical campaign or missing the opportunity of being informed; The experience of receiving antenatal care was wonderful, although there was only one thing lacking;and they safeguard our life and take any opportunity to educate us.Conclusion Data indicate that the mothers were largely satisfied with most facets of the antenatal care services they had received at the mobile clinics. However, while services are generally well received, there are clear opportunities for ameliorating the quality of services provided. For mothers living in remote, deprived areas, outreach is not just an‘optional extra’but rather an essential service.

文摘We study the motion of a hole with internal degrees of freedom, introduced to the zigzag magnetic ground state of Na_(2)IrO_(3),by using the self-consistent Born approximation. We find that the low-,intermediate-,and high-energy spectra are primarily attributed to the singlet, triplet, and quintet hole contributions, respectively. The spectral functions exhibit distinct features such as the electron-like dispersion of low-energy states near the L point, the maximum M-point intensity of mid-energy states, and the hole-like dispersion of high-energy states. These features are robust and almost insensitive to the exchange model and Hund's coupling, and are in qualitative agreement with the angular-resolved photoemission spectra observed in Na_(2)IrO_(3).Our results reveal that the interference between internal degrees of freedom in different sublattices plays an important role in inducing the complex dispersions.

文摘As a crop quality sensor,Raman spectroscopy has been consistently proposed as one of the most promising and non-destructive methods for qualitative and quantitative analysis of plant substances, because it can measure molecular structures in a short time without requiring pretreatment along with simple usage. The sensitivity of the Raman spectrum to target chemicals depends largely on the wavelength, intensity of the laser power, and exposure time.Especially for plant samples,it is very likely that the peak of the target material is covered by strong fluorescence effects. Therefore, methods using lasers with low energy causing less fluorescence, such as 785 nm or near-infrared,are vigorously discussed.Furthermore, advanced techniques for obtaining more sensitive and clear spectra, like surface-enhanced Raman spectroscopy,time-gated Raman spectroscopy or combination with thin-layer chromatography, are being investigated.Numerous interpretations of plant quality can be represented not only by the measurement conditions but also by the spectral analysis methods.Up to date, there have been attempted to optimize and generalize analysis methods. This review summarizes the state of the art of micro-Raman spectroscopy in crop quality assessment focusing on secondary metabolites, from in vitro to in vivo and even in situ, and suggests future research to achieve universal application.

文摘This paper uses the theory of planar dynamic systems and the knowledge of reaction-diffusion equations, and then studies the bounded traveling wave solution of the generalized Boussinesq equation affected by dissipation and the influence of dissipation on solitary waves. The dynamic system corresponding to the traveling wave solution of the equation is qualitatively analyzed in detail. The influence of the dissipation coefficient on the solution behavior of the bounded traveling wave is studied, and the critical values that can describe the magnitude of the dissipation effect are, respectively, found for the two cases of b_3<0 and b_3>0 in the equation. The results show that, when the dissipation effect is significant(i.e.,r is greater than the critical value in a certain situation),the traveling wave solution to the generalized Boussinesq equation appears as a kink-shaped solitary wave solution;when the dissipation effect is small(i.e.,r is smaller than the critical value in a certain situation),the traveling wave solution to the equation appears as the oscillation attenuation solution.By using the hypothesis undetermined method, all possible solitary wave solutions to the equation when there is no dissipation effect(i.e.,r=0)and the partial kink-shaped solitary wave solution when the dissipation effect is significant are obtained;in particular, when the dissipation effect is small,an approximate solution of the oscillation attenuation solution can be achieved. This paper is further based on the idea of the homogenization principles.By establishing an integral equation reflecting the relationship between the approximate solution of the oscillation attenuation solution and the exact solution obtained in the paper, and by investigating the asymptotic behavior of the solution at infinity, the error estimate between the approximate solution of the oscillation attenuation solution and the exact solution is obtained, which is an infinitesimal amount that decays exponentially. The influence of the dissipation coefficient on the amplitude, frequency, period, and energy of the bounded traveling wave solution of the equation is also discussed.
文摘Objective:Sub-Saharan Africa accounts for 66%of global maternal deaths. In Kenya,362 maternal deaths occur in every 100000 live births. Most of these deaths occur as a result of suboptimal quality care of mothers during labor, delivery,or within 24h of delivery. This study explored barriers that nurse-midwives encounter in trying to provide high-quality obstetric care during these periods. Methods:A qualitative research design utilizing focus group discussion as part of a mixed method study was used to find out the participants'experiences.Data were collected between February and March 2022 in the maternity units of two regional teaching and referral hospitals in Kenya.Eligible participants were nurse-midwives in charge of the maternity unit. The discussion was conducted in English,tape-recorded,and transcribed verbatim,Data were analyzed thematically, following Braun and Clarke 6-step framework.Nvivo version 7.0 computer software was used to facilitate this process. Results:Two focused group discussions each involving seven participants were conducted. The participants agreed that maternal mortality due to postpartum hemorrhage and pregnancy-induced hypertension is a major health concern.Further, maternal care in the two hospitals was substandard.Themes that emerged as barriers were:inadequate supplies;inadequate obstetric knowledge and skills;shortage of nurse-midwives,and inadequate support supervision. The underlying factors include inadequate funding by the county government and high staff turnover. Conclusion:This study showed that nurse-midwives are working under very difficult circumstances which are hindering the provision of quality maternal care. This is mainly due to system failures and inadequate nursemidwife numbers.Targeted strategies need to be urgently implemented to mitigate these challenges to improve the quality of maternal health care.

文摘Background:In crisis intervention sites such as infectious disease disasters, counselors are repeatedly exposed, directly or indirectly,to the traumatic experiences of victims.Disaster counseling has a negative effect on coun-selors,which can eventually interfere with the counseling process for disaster victims. Therefore, exploring and understanding the experiences of counselors is necessary to ensure that qualitative counseling for disaster victims can be continuously and efficiently conducted. Objectives:This study investigated the experiences of counselors who participated in mental health counseling as psychological support for victims of the COVID-19 disaster in Korea.Design:This is a qualitative study.Participants:The study participants comprised 18 counselors who had mental health professional qualifications of level 2 or higher and who had provided mental health counseling for COVID-19 confirmed cases and quarantined persons. Methods:Data were collected using focus group interviews from February 21 to May 29,2021.The duration of each interview was 60–90 min,and the data were analyzed using content analysis. Results:Thefinal theme was“Continuing to walk this road anytime, anywhere.”The par-ticipants’experiences were identified in four sub-themes:“being deployed to unprepared counseling,”“encoun-tering various difficulties,”“feeling full of meaning and value,”and“hoping to become a better counselor.”Conclusions:In order to continuously provide qualitative counseling in case of an infectious disease disaster such as COVID-19,it is important to develop a qualification and competency strengthening program through educa-tion and training to secure the crisis intervention expertise of counselors according to the characteristics of the disaster. In addition,a psychological support manual for each disaster should be prepared at the national level according to the type of disaster.
文摘Madness has attracted and frightened for centuries, and talking about this means discussing how this diversity was built and managed in different social contexts and historical periods. Not all societies have had,and still have, the same relationship with madness. It is only with the affirmation of the Modern State, and of Capitalism, that the idea of“normality”indispensable to be able to conceive diversity as something dangerously distant and different from the norm takes over.In our post-modern society, people with mental illness in Italy can resort to specialists and social-health services. But the heterogeneous answers given after the approval of law 180 appear to be increasingly diversified. In this research, much attention will be paid to how the social and health services, located in different areas of Italy(Messina,Rome,Trento)face the current growing risk of social, housing and economic isolation of these fragile subjects. The aim of the research is to explore the possibility of a new relationship between the social-health service and the local community. On the one hand, research investigates what the contribution of the services could be.On the other what the spaces of protagonism and participation of the community could be in inclusion process account. In order to better understand the differences between these two dimensions,a qualitative research approach was chosen through the conduct of in-depth interviews. In this way it was possible to investigate:(1)the partial representations characteristic of the single individual, family members, operators and stackholders in general;(2)the services around the topic dealt with is articulated. From the first results of the research it emerges that the territory can no longer be considered as an abstract entity, but becomes the social space within which the construction of a new community welfare can and must take place.
