In the classical QBFO algorithm, the rotation angle updated by the rotation gate is discrete and constant, which cannot affect the situation of the solution space and limit the diversity of bacterial population. In this paper, an improved QBFO(IQBFO) algorithm is proposed, which can adaptively make the quantum rotation angle continuously updated and enhance the global search ability. In the initialization process, the modified probability of the optimal rotation angle is introduced to avoid the existence of invariant solutions. The modified operator of probability amplitude is adopted to further increase the population diversity. The tests based on benchmark functions verify the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm. Moreover, compared with the integerorder PID controller, the fractional-order proportion integration differentiation(PID) controller increases the complexity of the system with better flexibility and robustness. Thus the fractional-order PID controller is applied to the servo system. The tuning results of PID parameters of the fractional-order servo system show that the proposed algorithm has a good performance in tuning the PID parameters of the fractional-order servo system.展开更多

The time–frequency profile of the harmonics shows that the long quantum trajectory is dominant at both lower and higher gas densities for a low laser intensity. At high laser intensities, the long quantum trajectory plays an important role for lower gas densities, while the short quantum trajectory is dominant at higher gas densities. An analysis of the phase mismatch for high-order harmonic generation shows that the primary emission of the quantum trajectories is determined by dynamic changes in the laser electric field during the propagation process.展开更多

The real part Rex^(3)(0,0,ω) and the imaginary part Imx^(3)(0,0,ω) of the third-order susceptibil- ity describe quadratic electro-optic effects and electro-absorption process of the QDs respectively. And both of them have been calculated in directions parallel and vertical to z axis. Furthermore, the study shows Rex^(3)(0,0,ω) and Imx^(3)(0,0,ω) increase under resonant conditions with the QDs' radius and height increase, and the same results occur when the content increase. In addition, the resonant position shift to the lower energy region when the parabolic frequencies increase.展开更多

Furthermore, the hlgher-order uncertainty relations in the process of non-degenerate four-wave mixing are presented for the first time. In this work, we introduce a nonstandard iterative technique where the Liouville space is briefly expanded with an additional (virtual) space only within ultrashort subintervals. This tremendously reduces the cost of time-consuming calculations. We implement our technique for an example of a charged particle in both harmonic and anharmonic potentials. The temporal evolutions of the probability for the particle being in the ground state are obtained numerically and compared to the analytical solutions. We further discuss the physics insight of this technique based on a thought-experiment. Successive processes intrinsically “hitchhiking” via virtual space in discrete ultrashort time duration, are the hallmark of our technique. We believe that this technique has potential for solving numerous problems which often pose a challenge when using the traditional approach based on time-ordered exponentials.展开更多

This model can be diagonalized by using a general canonical transformation to the fermionic Hamiltonian mapped from the spin system. The ground-state Riemannian metric is derived exactly on a parameter manifold ring S^1, which is introduced by performing a gauge transformation to the spin Hamiltonian through a twist operator. The cyclic ground-state quantum distance and the second derivative of the ground-state energy are studied in different exchange coupling parameter regions. Particularly, we show that, in the case of exchange coupling parameter J a = J b, the quantum ferromagnetic phase can be characterized by an invariant quantum distance and this distance will decay to zero rapidly in the paramagnetic phase.展开更多

It is found that the multilayer magnetic order-disorder transition temperature depends strongly on the value of the transverse anisotropy. The multilayer transition temperature decreases when increasing the transverse anisotropy. Furthermore, there exists a critical quantum transverse anisotropy △xL beyond which the separate transitions occur in the two magnetic layers. The critical transverse anisotropy AxL decreases (increases) on increasing the non-magnetic spacer of thickness M (on increasing the crystal field), and AxL undergoes oscillations as a function of the Fermi level.展开更多

Carrier dynamics in these lasers were under analysis and the rate equations are solved using 4th order Runge-Kutta method. We have shown that by increasing injected current to the active medium of laser, switching-on and stability time of the system would decrease and power peak and stationary power will be increased. Also, emission in any state will start when the lower state is saturated and remain steady. The results including P-I characteristic curve for the ground state (GS), first excited state (ES1), second excited state (ES2) and output power of the QD laser will be presented.展开更多
