This paper proposes two schemes for implementing QSC by means of cavity assisted interactions with single-photon pulses. The schemes are insensitive to the cavity decay and the thermal field, thus it might be realizable based on the current cavity QED techniques.展开更多

The cavity is only virtually excited and no quantum information will be transferred from the atoms to the cavity. Thus the scheme is insensitive to cavity decay and the thermal field. In the scheme, Alice can send faithfully 4 bits of classical information to Bob by sending two qubits. Generalized Bell states can be exactly distinguished by detecting the atomic state, and quantum dense coding can be realized in a simple way.展开更多

In the scheme, we investigate that the atoms interact simultaneously with the highly detuned single-mode cavity and the strong classical driving field, and thus our scheme is not sensitive to both the cavity decay and the thermal field. In addition, the four-atom entangled states can be exactly distinguished by performing the single-atom measurements in cavity QED, therefore our scheme might be implemented in a simple way.展开更多
