The session, which was held in October 2011, noted that this will be of far-reaching significance to China's endeavor to build a society of relative prosperity in all fields, usher in a new phase of develop- ment for the cause of socialism with Chinese characteristics, and attain the projected rejuvenation of the Chinese nation. It is against such a background that we are encountering a great opportunity for promoting human rights education.
