Radiative Corrections to e^+e^-→ Zh at Future Higgs Factory in the Minimal Dilaton Model

Abstract The minimal dilaton model (MDM) extends the Standard Model by one singlet scalar called dilaton andone top quark partner called t. In this work we investigate the t-induced radiative correction to the Higgs-strahlung production process e+e^→ Zh at future Higgs factory. We first present the analytical calculations in detail and show how to handle the ultraviolet divergence. Then we calculate the correction numerically by considering the constraints from precision electroweak data. We find that, for sinθL=0.2 and mt= 1200 GeV, the correction is 0.26% and 2.1% for SE+E = 240 GeV, 1 TeV respectively, and a larger value can be achieved as sin θL increases. 展开更多

When these corrections are applied to the new combined data on the π^±π^0 spectral function, the prediction for aμ^had.LO based on τ lepton data gets closer to the one obtained using e^+e^- data. 展开更多

The status and accuracy of the precision Monte Carlo generators used for luminosity measurements at flavour factories is reviewed. It is shown that, thanks to a considerable, long-term effort in tuned comparisons between the predictions of independent programs, as well as in the validation of the generators against the presently available calculations of the next-to-next-to-leading order QED corrections to Bhabha scattering, the theoretical accuracy reached by the most precise tools is of about one per mille. This error estimate is valid for realistic experimental cuts, appears to be quite robust and is already sufficient for very accurate luminosity measurements. However, recent progress and possible advances to further improve it are also discussed. 展开更多

We explain the framework for calculating next-to-leading-order (NLO) corrections to exclusive processes in the kT factorization theorem, taking πγ^*→γ as an example. Patrons off-shell by kT^2 are considered in both the quark diagrams from full QCD and the effective diagrams for the pion wave function. The gauge dependences in the above two sets of diagrams cancel, when deriving the kw-dependent hard kernel as their difference. The light-cone singularities in the kT-dependent pion wave function are regularized by rotating the Wilson lines away from the light cone. Both the large double logarithms In^2 kT and In^2x, x being a parton momentum fraction, arise from the loop correction to the virtual photon vertex, the former being absorbed into the pion wave function, and the latter into a jet function. 展开更多
