Data-derived normal mode extraction is an effective method for extracting normal mode depth functions in the absence of marine environmental data.However,when the corresponding singular vectors become nonunique when two or more singular values obtained from the cross-spectral density matrix diagonalization are nearly equal,this results in unsatisfactory extraction outcomes for the normal mode depth functions.To address this issue,we introduced in this paper a range-difference singular value decomposition method for the extraction of normal mode depth functions.We performed the mode extraction by conducting singular value decomposition on the individual frequency components of the signal's cross-spectral density matrix.This was achieved by using pressure and its range-difference matrices constructed from vertical line array data.The proposed method was validated using simulated data.In addition,modes were successfully extracted from ambient noise. 展开更多

Pedestrian positioning system(PPS)using wearable inertial sensors has wide applications towards various emerging fields such as smart healthcare,emergency rescue,soldier positioning,etc.The performance of traditional PPS is limited by the cumulative error of inertial sensors,complex motion modes of pedestrians,and the low robustness of the multi-sensor collaboration structure.This paper presents a hybrid pedestrian positioning system using the combination of wearable inertial sensors and ultrasonic ranging(H-PPS).A robust two nodes integration structure is developed to adaptively combine the motion data acquired from the single waist-mounted and foot-mounted node,and enhanced by a novel ellipsoid constraint model.In addition,a deep-learning-based walking speed estimator is proposed by considering all the motion features provided by different nodes,which effectively reduces the cumulative error originating from inertial sensors.Finally,a comprehensive data and model dual-driven model is presented to effectively combine the motion data provided by different sensor nodes and walking speed estimator,and multi-level constraints are extracted to further improve the performance of the overall system.Experimental results indicate that the proposed H-PPS significantly improves the performance of the single PPS and outperforms existing algorithms in accuracy index under complex indoor scenarios. 展开更多

Frequency-Modulation Continuous-Wave Synthetic Aperture Radar(FMCW SAR)has shown great potential in the applications of civil and military fields because of its easy deployment and low cost.However,most of these work and analysis are concentrated on airborne FMCW SAR,where the characteristics of the imaging geometry and signal are much similar to that of traditional pulsed-SAR.As a result,a series of test campaigns of automobile-based FMCW SAR were sponsored by Institute of Electronics,Chinese Academy of Sciences(IECAS)in the autumn of 2012.In this paper,we analyze the imaging issues of FMCW SAR in automobile mode(named as near range mode),where a vehicle is used as moving platform and a large looking angle is configured.The imaging geometry and signal properties are analyzed in detail.We emphasize the difference of the near range mode from the traditional airborne SAR mode.Based on the analysis,a focusing approach is proposed in the paper to handle the data focusing in the case.Simulation experiment and real data of automobile FMCW SAR are used to validate the analysis. 展开更多

To study the influence of head-neck ratio and implant position on the range of motion (ROM) after total hip arthroplasty (THA).Methods In this study the author established a three-dimensional computerized model of hip joint and tested the range of motion of three different head-neck ratio after total hip arthroplasty.Results Range of motion after total hip arthroplasty depended on design parameters such as head-neck ratio,but also on the implantation parameters such as the cup’s inclination and antevertion,the stem’s antevertion and their combination of each other.Optimal range of motion required compliant position of total hip components.The range of motion increased with the enlarging of head-hnck ratio.Conclusion Higher head-neck ratio leads to optimal range of motion and decreased the prevalence of prosthetic impingement within compliant,well-defined combination of cup’s inclination,cup’s antevertion and stem’s antevertion depending on the intended ROM.Domestic magnesium-silicon jade total hip prosthesis has too low head-neck ratio to result in enough range of motion that fulfilled daily living after total hip arthroplasty.14 refs,4 figs,3 tabs. 展开更多

An on-chip voltage reference with a wide supply voltage range is required by some applications,especially that of power management (PM) controller chips applied to telecommunication, automotive, lighting equipment, etc., when high power supply voltage is needed. Accordingly,a new bandgap reference with a wide supply voltage range is proposed. Due to the improved structure,it features a high power supply rejection ratio (PSRR) and high temperature stability. In addition, an auxiliary micro-power reference is introduced to support the sleep mode of the PM chip and reduce its standby power consumption. The auxiliary reference provides bias currents in normal mode and a 1.28V reference voltage in sleep mode to replace the main reference and save power. Simulation results show that the reference provides a reference volt- age of 1.27V,which has a 3.5mV drift over the temperature range from -20 to 120~C and 56t^V deviation over a supply voltage range from 3 to 40V. The PSRR is higher than 100dB for frequency below 10kHz. The circuit was completed in 1.5tzm BCD (Bipolar-CMOS-DMOS) technology. In a global positioning system(GPS)passive radar,a high resolution requires a high sampling frequency,which increases the computational load.Balancing the computational load and the range resolution is challenging.This paper presents a method to trade off the range resolution and the computational load by experimentally determining the optimal sampling frequency through an analysis of multiple sets of GPS satellite data at different sampling frequencies.The test data are used to construct a range resolution-sampling frequency trade-off model using least-squares estimation.The theoretical analysis shows that the experimental data are the best fit using smoothing and nthorder derivative splines.Using field GPS C/A code signal-based GPS radar,the trade-off between the optimal sampling frequency is determined to be in the 20461.25–24553.5 kHz range,which supports a resolution of 43–48 m.Compared with the conventional method,the CPU time is reduced by approximately 50%. 展开更多

Range-based algorit... Node localization is commonly employed in wireless networks. For example, it is used to improve routing and enhance security. Localization algorithms can be classified as range-free or range-based. Range-based algorithms use location metrics such as ToA, TDoA, RSS, and AoA to estimate the distance between two nodes. Proximity sensing between nodes is typically the basis for range-free algorithms. A tradeoff exists since range-based algorithms are more accurate but also more complex. However, in applications such as target tracking, localization accuracy is very important. In this paper, we propose a new range-based algorithm which is based on the density-based outlier detection algorithm (DBOD) from data mining. It requires selection of the K-nearest neighbours (KNN). DBOD assigns density values to each point used in the location estimation. The mean of these densities is calculated and those points having a density larger than the mean are kept as candidate points. Different performance measures are used to compare our approach with the linear least squares (LLS) and weighted linear least squares based on singular value decomposition (WLS-SVD) algorithms. It is shown that the proposed algorithm performs better than these algorithms even when the anchor geometry about an unlocalized node is poor. 展开更多

The optical properties associated with Fano resonance of the metamaterials are investigated experimentally and theoretically. The results indicate that the introduction of Fano resonance due to symmetry breaking leads to a much wider absorption range. To realize effective utilization of renewable energy sources,a novel polymorphic topology with hybrid control strategy based LLC resonant converter was analyzed and designed in this paper.By combining the merits of a full bridge LLC resonant converter,three-level half bridge LLC resonant converter,and variable frequency control mode,the converter realizes an intelligent estimation of input voltage by automatically changing its internal cir-cuit topology.Under this control strategy,different input voltages determine different operation modes.This is achieved in full bridge LLC mode when the input voltage is low.If the input voltage rises to a certain level,it operates in three-level half bridge LLC mode.These switches are digital and entirely carried out by the DSP(Digi-tal Signal Processor),which means that an auxiliary circuit is unnecessary,where a simple strategy of software modification can be utilized.Experimental results of a 500W prototype with 100V~600V input voltage and full load efficiency of up to 92%are developed to verify feasibility and practicability.This type of converter is suitable for applications with an ultra-wide input voltage range,such as wind turbines,photovoltaic generators,bioenergy,and other renewable energy sources. 展开更多

This paper focus on solving the problem of seafloor control point absolute positioning with low vertical accuracy based on the survey ship sailing circle. The method of dealing with the systematic error based on a semi-parametric adjustment model was proposed. Firstly, the influence of sound velocity change on ranging error is analyzed. Secondly, a semi-parametric adjustment model for determining three-dimensional coordinates of seafloor control points was established. And respectively proposed solutions under two different conditions, the observation duration is an integral multiple or non-integer multiple of the long-period term of the ranging error. The simulation experiment shows that this method can obviously improve the accuracy of vertical solution of seafloor control point compared with the difference technique and the least-squares method when internal waves exist and observation duration is less than an integer multiple of the long-period term of the ranging error. 展开更多

The phase of cross-correlation function of two different normal modes contains source range information, which can be extracted by warping transform due to the dispersive characteristics of the shallow water waveguide. The autocorrelation function of the received pressure or particle velocity contains both modal autocorrelation component(MAC) and modal cross-correlation component(MCC), with the former part usually treated as interference for source ranging. Because the real part of the vertical intensity flux(RPVIF) only contains MCC, a passive impulsive source ranging method based on the frequency warping transform of RPVIF with a single vector receiver in shallow water is presented. Using a waveguide-invariant-based frequency warping operator, the cross-correlation components of two different modes in the vertical intensity flux are warped into separable impulsive sequences, the time delays of which are subsequently used for source ranging. The advantages of source ranging based on warping the vertical intensity flux compared with warping the pressure autocorrelation function are pointed out, and the experiment results are also presented. 展开更多

A long-term analysis of signal-in-space range error (SISRE) is presented for all healthy Galileo satellites, and the first pair of full operational capability satellites in wrong elliptical orbits. Both orbit and clock errors for Galileo show an obvious convergence trend over time. The annual statistical analyses show that the average root mean squares (RMSs) of SISRE for the Galileo constellation are 0.58 m (2015), 0.29 m (2016), 0.23 m (2017), and 0.22 m (2018). Currently, the accuracy of the Galileo signal-in-space is superior to that of the global positioning system (GPS) Block IIF (0.35 m). In addition, the orbit error accounts for the majority of Galileo SISRE, while the clock error accounts for approximately one-third of SISRE due to the high stability of the onboard atomic clock. Single point positioning results show that Galileo achieves an accuracy of 2-3 m, which is comparable to that of GPS despite the smaller number of satellites and worse geometry. Interestingly, the vertical accuracy of Galileo, which uses the NeQuick ionospheric model, is higher than that of GPS. Positioning with single frequency E1 and E5 show a higher precision than E5a and E5b signals. Regarding precise point positioning (PPP), the results indicate that a comparable positioning accuracy can be achieved among different stations with the current Galileo constellation. For static PPP, the RMS values of Galileo-only solutions are within 1 cm horizontally, and the vertical RMSs are mostly within 2 cm horizontally. For kinematic PPP, the RMSs of Galileo-only solutions are mostly within 4 cm horizontally and 6 cm vertically. 展开更多

The effect of short-range ordering (SRO) on the low-cycle fatigue (LCF) behavior of low solid-solution hardening Ni-Cr alloys with high stacking fault energies (SFEs) was systematically studied under cycling at constant total strain amplitude (Δε t /2) in the range of 0.1%–0.7%. The results show that an inducement of SRO structures can notably improve the fatigue life of the alloy regardless of Δε t /2, and several unique fatigue characteristics have been detected, including the transition of fatigue cracking mode from intergranular cracking to slip band cracking, the non-negligible evolution from non-Masing behavior in pure Ni to Masing behavior in the Ni-40Cr alloy, and the secondary cyclic hardening behavior in the Ni-10Cr and Ni-20Cr alloys. All these experimental phenomena are tightly associated with the transformation in cyclic deformation mechanisms that is induced by SRO based on the “glide plane softening” effect. Furthermore, a comprehensive fatigue life prediction model based on total hysteresis energy has been reasonably proposed, focusing on the analyses of the macroscopic model parameters (namely the fatigue cracking resistance exponent β and the crack propagation resistance parameter W 0 ) and microscopic damage mechanisms. 2022年1月8日门源发生6.9级地震,造成某线隧道二衬坍塌、桥梁梁体移位、接触网脱落等基础、设备严重损坏,并伴随钢轨折断、扣件脱落、道床倾斜等轨道震害,是我国高速铁路首次遭遇的强震作用下严重受灾事件。结合震后预测余滑变形量水平1... 2022年1月8日门源发生6.9级地震,造成某线隧道二衬坍塌、桥梁梁体移位、接触网脱落等基础、设备严重损坏,并伴随钢轨折断、扣件脱落、道床倾斜等轨道震害,是我国高速铁路首次遭遇的强震作用下严重受灾事件。结合震后预测余滑变形量水平150~300 mm,垂向100 mm条件下,在设防区段提出一种“三孔连体套管承轨台可调式WJ-8型扣件+长枕埋入式单层道床预留切割孔”新型大调整量无砟轨道结构方案。其中,三孔连体套管承轨台可调式WJ-8型扣件在既有WJ-8型扣件基础上通过增设铁承轨台、调距块和三联套管等部件可满足单股钢轨左右位置调整量达152 mm,长枕埋入式单层道床中预留切割孔,便于在基础变形超出扣件调整范围后切割纠偏;通过对余滑变形后线路拟合获得拨距包络图,确定了大调整量无砟轨道铺设范围。 展开更多
