The links is realized using FPGA and provides a bandwidth of 12. 8 Gbit/s. Using the links, The topologic of multi-DSP system can be changed online to meet the variabilities of the parallel algorithm of image processing. The system can be assembled with utmost tens of boards and maintain the high communication speed. Analysis of the system adaptivity to image processing is testified followed by actual results. In the era of Big Data, typical architecture of distributed real-time stream processing systems is the combination of Flume, Kafka, and Storm. As a kind of distributed message system, Kafka has the characteristics of ...In the era of Big Data, typical architecture of distributed real-time stream processing systems is the combination of Flume, Kafka, and Storm. As a kind of distributed message system, Kafka has the characteristics of horizontal scalability and high throughput, which is manly deployed in many areas in order to address the problem of speed mismatch between message producers and consumers. When using Kafka, we need to quickly receive data sent by producers. In addition, we need to send data to consumers quickly. Therefore, the performance of Kafka is of critical importance to the performance of the whole stream processing system. In this paper, we propose the improved design of real-time stream processing systems, and focus on improving the Kafka's data loading process.We use Kafka cat to transfer data from the source to Kafka topic directly, which can reduce the network transmission. We also utilize the memory file system to accelerate the process of data loading, which can address the bottleneck and performance problems caused by disk I/O. Extensive experiments are conducted to evaluate the performance, which show the superiority of our improved design.展开更多

In this paper, using a Markov decision process (MDP), we propose a modeling method and an optimal control method for real-time pricing systems. First, the outline of real-time pricing systems is explained. Next, a model of a set of customers is derived as a multi-agent MDP. The system structure and working principle of mainly processing multi-BSP board, extended multi-DSP board are analysed. The outstanding advantage is that the communication among different board components of this system is supported by high speed link ports & serial ports for increasing the system performance and computational power. Then the implementation of embedded real-time operating systems (RTOS) by us is discussed in detail. In this system, we adopt two kinds of parallel structures controlled by RTOS for parallel processing of algorithms. The experimental results show that exploitive period of the system is short, and maintenance convenient. Among various sensing devices, Time-of-Flight (ToF) sensors were widely applied due to their low cost. This paper explored the implementation of a human hand posture recognition system using ToF sensors and residual neural networks. Firstly, this paper reviewed the typical applications of human hand recognition. Secondly, this paper designed a hand gesture recognition system using a ToF sensor VL53L5. Subsequently, data preprocessing was conducted, followed by training the constructed residual neural network. Then, the recognition results were analyzed, indicating that gesture recognition based on the residual neural network achieved an accuracy of 98.5% in a 5-class classification scenario. Finally, the paper discussed existing issues and future research directions.展开更多

In this paper, robotic gas metal arc welding experiments are carried out on the mild steel test pieces with Vee-type groove. Through-the-arc sensing method is used to capture the transient values of the welding voltage and current. The raw data of the captured welding current and voltage are processed statistically, and the feature vector SIO is extracted to correlate the welding conditions to the weld penetration information. The standard curve of ACt between CP4-EPSPS gene and Lectin gene of the RR soybean in standard materials was generated and a linear regression equation was obtained. Quantification methods were optimized through two different real-time PCR chemistries, i.e. SYBR Green I and TaqMan, and the RR soybean contents were quantified in five standard samples and seven highly processed products by the two assays. Both methods are proved to be specific, highly sensitive and reliable for both identification and quantification of soybean DNA. The results indicate that the two optimized PCR system can be used for the practical quantitative detection of RR soybean in highly processed products.展开更多

So it is necessary to ...Manual monitoring and seam tracking through watching weld pool images in real-time, by naked eyes or by industrial TV, are experience-depended, subjective, labor intensive, and sometimes biased. So it is necessary to realize the automation of computer-aided seam tracking. A PAW (plasma arc welding) seam tracking system was developed, which senses the molten pool and the seam in one frame by a vision sensor, and then detects the seam deviation to adjust the work piece motion adaptively to the seam position sensed by vision sensor. A novel molten pool area image-processing algorithm based on machine vision was proposed. The algorithm processes each image at the speed of 20 frames/second in real-time to extract three feature variables to get the seam deviation. It is proved experimentally that the algorithm is very fast and effective. Issues related to the algorithm are also discussed.展开更多

The laboratory experiments conducted in th...In our previous work, a novel algorithm to perform robust pose estimation was presented. The pose was estimated using points on the object to regions on image correspondence. The laboratory experiments conducted in the previous work showed that the accuracy of the estimated pose was over 99% for position and 84% for orientation estimations respectively. However, for larger objects, the algorithm requires a high number of points to achieve the same accuracy. The requirement of higher number of points makes the algorithm, computationally intensive resulting in the algorithm infeasible for real-time computer vision applications. In this paper, the algorithm is parallelized to run on NVIDIA GPUs. The results indicate that even for objects having more than 2000 points, the algorithm can estimate the pose in real time for each frame of high-resolution videos.展开更多

In this paper, the algorithm is parallelized to run on NVIDIA GPUs. The results indicate that even for objects having more than 2000 points, the algorithm can estimate the pose in real time for each frame of high-resolution videos.

文摘The real-time measurement principle of high rotational projectile's angular velocity based on 2-axis acceleration sensor and the axial acceleration measurement error caused by the installation error are discussed.The 2-axis acceleration sensor is applied to measure the high rotational projectile's angular velocity and the measurement value of axial acceleration,the axial acceleration of the high rotational projectile equals the measurement value of axial acceleration subtracting the centrifugal acceleration component,so that the high-accuracy real-time measurement of axial acceleration is realized.The memory test has confirmed the strike tally of the theoretical analysis and the test result.The measurement technique can satisfy the high-accuracy measurement of the high rotational projectile axial acceleration in the self-determination course correction fuze projectile.
