Analyses of circRNA profiling during the development from pre-receptive to receptive phases in the goat endometrium

Background: Recent studies have revealed that noncoding RNAs play important regulatory roles in the formation of endometrial receptivity.Circular RNAs(circRNAs) are a universally expressed noncoding RNA species that have been recently proposed to act as miRNA sponges that directly regulate expression of target genes or parental genes.Results: We used Illumina Solexa technology to analyze the expression profiles of circRNAs in the endometrium from three goats at gestational day 5(pre-receptive endometrium,PE) and three goats at gestational day 15(receptive endometrium,RE).Overall,21,813 circRNAs were identified,of which 5,925 circRNAs were specific to the RE and 9,078 were specific to the PE,which suggested high stage-specificity.Further analysis found 334 differentially expressed circRNAs in the RE compared with PE(P < 0.05).The analysis of the circRNA-miRNA interaction network further supported the idea that circRNAs act as miRNA sponges to regulate gene expression.Moreover,some circRNAs were regulated by estrogen(E2)/progesterone(P4) in endometrial epithelium cell lines(EECs) and endometrial stromal cell line(ESCs),and each circRNA molecule exhibited unique regulation characteristics with respect to E2 and P4.Conclusions: These data provide an endometrium circRNA expression atlas corresponding to the biology of the goat receptive endometrium during embryo implantation.

Receptive Anal Intercourse and HIV Infection

Objective: Inform the public that receptive anal intercourse (RAI) is a key transmission route of the human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) epidemic in the United States. Method: The role of receptive anal intercourse (RAI) in this epidemic will be examined using the following approach: 1) Risk comparison of HIV transmission via RAI to the other major routes of transmission. 2) HIV transmission risks of RAI using some of the present risk reduction techniques. 3) HIV infection via anal intercourse among male youth. 4) HIV infection via anal intercourse among women. Results: Of the major transmission routes of HIV, receptive anal intercourse has the highest transmission risk for acquiring HIV infection. RAI is 2 times the risk of needle-sharing during injection drug use (IDU) and 17 times the risk of receptive vaginal intercourse. The estimated per act probability of acquiring HIV from an infected source by the exposure route of RAI is high in most circumstances: 1) Condoms alone only partially reduce the high risk of RAI. With the addition of pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP), the risk is further reduced. 2) When one or both partners are infected with a sexually transmitted disease (STD), even with condom use, the risks are very high. With the addition of PrEP the risks are reduced, but RAI still carries significant risks. 3) With exposure to acute HIV (high viral load) the risks of RAI are very high and remain significant even with condom use and PrEP. Anal intercourse often begins in adolescence;both genders are at risk. Conclusion: Public knowledge of the high transmission risks of receptive anal intercourse may likely result in a downward trend of new HIV infections and contribute to ending the epidemic.

RELATIONSHIP ETWEEN A GROUP OF ACUPOINTS RECEPTIVE UNITS AND THEIR PERIPHERAL ANATOMY

Using Psychopysical method 126 receptive units in 36 acupoints at human limbs wereclassified.It was shown that the groups of the receptive units were related closely to their peripheralanatomical structures.

Detection of the movement direction by the cells with directional receptive fields in the primary visual cortex of the cat

The study was performed on neurons with direction selective (DS) receptive fields (RFs) in the primary visual cortex of the cat. Preferred directions (PDs) of these cells to a single light spot and a system of two identical light spots moving across the RF with a given angle between them were compared. Directional interactions appeared when the angles between the directions of the two moving spots were 30o or 60o. PD for 56% of the cells coincided with bisectors of these angles. These cells responded to a combination of the two moving stimuli as if only one stimulus moved in the RF in an intermediate direction. This direction coincided with PD of the DS neuron to a single spot. Also, the investigation revealed that DS neurons responded to stimuli moving at such angles as 180o (to preferred and opposite directions simultaneously). In the further experiment we investigated responses of the DS cells in the primary visual cortex of RF. The angle between the directions of the two moving spots was 60o. These cells responded to a combination of the two moving stimuli as if only one stimulus moved in RF in an intermediate direction. The more relative luminance of one of spots in pair was, the closer the intermediate direction approached to the direction of this spot).

A Study of EFL Learners＇ Receptive and Productive Knowledge of SP： With Implications for Vocabulary Teaching

This study attempts to see whether there are any differences between L2 （Second Language） learners＇ receptive and productive knowledge of SP （Semantic Prosody）. SP is defined as the tendency of the use of some words to occur in a certain semantic environment. For example, the verb ＂cause＂ is associated with unpleasant things-death, problem and the like. The study is based on a random sampling of subjects （N = 60） drawn from 180 EFL （English as a Foreign Language） learners taking English classes at different language institutes in Khorramabad, Iran. A test of SP as a task of elicitation was constructed, validated and used to measure the learners＇ knowledge of both productive and receptive SP. A matched t-test was used to compare the mean differences between receptive and productive SP measures. The results showed significant difference between EFL learners＇ knowledge of receptive and productive SP, EFL learners perform better in receptive SP measures than in productive ones. Possible imolications of the findings for teaching vocabularv to EFL learners will be discussed.

Adaptive Bistable Stochastic Resonance Based Weak Signal Reception in Additive Laplacian Noise

Weak signal reception is a very important and challenging problem for communication systems especially in the presence of non-Gaussian noise,and in which case the performance of optimal linear correlated receiver degrades dramatically.Aiming at this,a novel uncorrelated reception scheme based on adaptive bistable stochastic resonance(ABSR)for a weak signal in additive Laplacian noise is investigated.By analyzing the key issue that the quantitative cooperative resonance matching relationship between the characteristics of the noisy signal and the nonlinear bistable system,an analytical expression of the bistable system parameters is derived.On this basis,by means of bistable system parameters self-adaptive adjustment,the counterintuitive stochastic resonance(SR)phenomenon can be easily generated at which the random noise is changed into a benefit to assist signal transmission.Finally,it is demonstrated that approximately 8dB bit error ratio(BER)performance improvement for the ABSR-based uncorrelated receiver when compared with the traditional uncorrelated receiver at low signal to noise ratio(SNR)conditions varying from-30dB to-5dB.

Assessment of Satisfaction in the Reception and Emergency Department of a Health Center

Introduction The main objective of any healthcare establishment must be to ensure the quality of patient care and customer satisfaction. It is necessary to regularly assess patient satisfaction. The aim of this study was to assess the level of satisfaction of customers aged over 18 years attending the emergency department of the health center. Methodology This was a descriptive and analytical cross-sectional study of patients aged 18 years and over, who attended the Samu Municipal emergency department between 02 and 30 May 2023. The satisfaction index was determined using the adapted 2009 SAPHORA-MCO questionnaire and the Likert satisfaction scale. Results A total of 400 patients were surveyed. The average age was 35 years, with a standard deviation of 14.7. Of those surveyed, 51% were women, 87% were educated, 50% lived in Grand Yoff and 59.5% were unemployed. Satisfaction levels linked to perception of the cost of care (72%), waiting time (64.3%), information given to patients (69.1%) and pain management (74 .5%) are fair. On the other hand, the levels of satisfaction linked to administrative procedures (82.5%), staff attitudes towards patients (84%), staff availability (86.4%), patient privacy (89.2%), general atmosphere (87.2%), staff competence (87.3%), and the effectiveness of care (89.4%) were satisfactory. The average waiting time was 38 minutes. However, 32% of patients waited less than 30 minutes and 92% less than an hour. The satisfaction index linked to administration and reception was 72.9% and 79.85%, respectively. The satisfaction index linked to the administration and technical quality of care is equal to 85.8% and 83.7%, respectively. The overall satisfaction index is equal to 80.6%;the level of satisfaction of users of the health structure is satisfactory. Conclusion Patient satisfaction is an essential part of quality care. Patient satisfaction must be based on effective communication from the healthcare team and the creation of a patient-caregiver relationship.

藏西北绒山羊子宫内膜容受性相关基因和可变剪接事件的综合分析

背景:藏西北绒山羊子宫内膜容受性是胚胎植入的关键因素,目前对于藏西北绒山羊子宫内膜容受性相关基因表达及可变剪接的认识还未明确。目的:分析并挖掘藏西北绒山羊子宫内膜容受性相关的基因和可变剪接事件。方法:在妊娠第5天和第15天(分别代表容受前子宫内膜组和容受性子宫内膜组),分别随机选取3只藏西北绒山羊,采集子宫内膜组织,苏木精-伊红染色观察组织形态,免疫组织化学检测子宫内膜容受性标志蛋白白血病抑制因子、血管内皮生长因子的表达水平;提取子宫内膜组织总RNA,质量检测合格后进行转录组测序,寻找差异表达的mRNA、长链非编码RNA、环状RNA和miRNA,进行功能预测,并分析与子宫内膜容受性相关的可变剪接mRNA和长链非编码RNA。结果与结论:(1)与容受前子宫内膜组比较,容受性子宫内膜组子宫内膜组织中白血病抑制因子和血管内皮生长因子蛋白的表达水平明显升高;(2)测序结果显示,差异表达基因多为mRNA和长链非编码RNA,包括250个上调的mRNA、193个上调的长链非编码RNA、135个下调的mRNA和123个下调的长链非编码RNA,显著富集于Wnt、Hedgehog和Hippo信号通路;(3)可变剪接事件分析显示有8个差异表达的可变剪接转录本,均为mRNA分子,其中2个下调、6个上调,与血管内皮生长因子受体信号、细胞运动和胚胎发育有关。

Pistillate Flower Development and Stigma Receptivity of Euphorbia pulcherrima

Objective] This study aimed to investigate the relationship between pistil-late flower developmental morphology and stigma receptivity in Euphorbia pulcherri-ma. [Method] One-year-old adult plants of E. pulcherrima cultivar ‘Mil enium’ were used as experimental materials to analyze pistil ate flower development process by macroscopic and scanning electron microscope （SEM） observation. Stigma receptivity was detected with benzidine-hydrogen peroxide method and in vivo pol en germina-tion method. [Result] The pistil ate flower development process of E. pulcherrima was consisted of columnar stigma phase, stigma lobe slightly opening phase, Y-shape stigma lobe phase, inverse V-shaped stigma lobe phase and stigma curling phase. Pistil ate flower development and stigma receptivity of E. pulcherrima exhibit-ed certain correlation. The stigma receptive period lasted from stigma lobe slightly opening phase to inverse V-shaped stigma lobe phase; inverse V-shaped stigma lobe phase was appropriate for pol ination, lasting for 3-5 d, with V-shaped stigma lobe and a large amount of exudates on stigma surface according to SEM obser-vation. Stigma receptivity of E. pulcherrima detected with benzidine-hydrogen perox-ide method was consistent with that detected in vivo pol en germination method. [Conclusion] ln breeding practice, the optimal pol ination period of E. pulcherrima can be determined based on the developmental morphology of pistil ate flower.

采用感受野优化与渐进特征融合的图像超分辨率算法

针对现有基于深度学习的超分辨率方法存在参数冗余以及难以学习到全局上下文信息、重建图像高频特征能力欠佳的问题,提出一种基于感受野优化与渐进特征融合的超分辨率网络(RPSRnet),其在单幅图像重建方面实现了较高的性能。该网络采用像素注意力机制与大感受野卷积相结合的方式,设计两条渐进路径将输入表征为不同层次的特征抽象,增强网络捕获上下文信息的能力,同时减少了网络参数冗余。通过分层卷积和多重感受野分支,在保持轻量卷积的前提下,于分层的多路径上学习不同尺度的融合特征,增强网络重建边缘细节和复杂纹理特征的能力。实验结果表明:相比于先进算法,所提算法在基准测试集Set5上的峰值信噪比达到32.47 dB,在测试集Set14上达到28.81 dB,优于现有的先进算法,且网络参数更少,实现了9%的参数缩减,从而验证了算法的有效性。

CARFB:即插即用的目标检测模块

针对坐标注意力(CA)在水平和垂直方向特征的平均池化可能丢失目标显著特征,以及使用二维普通卷积对小目标特征学习不足的情况,提出了CARFB(coordinate attention and receptive field block)模块。该模块将CA的平均池化修改为平均+最大池化,以保留输入特征在水平和垂直方向的显著和细节信息;利用RFB具有不同大小感受野的优势,在水平和垂直方向分别使用RFB模块代替CA的融合特征统一卷积,以同时提取不同大小目标的特征;引入包含不同大小卷积核和步长的CBS模块,替换CA的二维普通卷积,进一步提取水平和垂直方向的特征,得到重新加权的输出特征。CARFB模块在水平和垂直方向保存目标位置信息,利用不同感受野提取不同大小目标的强辨别性特征,从而具有更强的特征学习能力。为了验证提出的即插即用模块CARFB的性能,将其嵌入ObjectBox目标检测框架,得到ObjectBox-CARFB模型;用CARFB模块替换RFBnet中的RFB模块,得到CARFBnet目标检测模型。MSCOCO数据集的实验测试表明,ObjectBox-CARFB模型的性能得到全面提升,尤其对小目标的检测性能提升突出;PASCALVOC和MSCOCO数据集的实验结果表明,CARFBnet300和CARFBnet512的目标检测能力分别优于原始RFBnet300和RFBnet512模型,并优于其他同系列对比模型。提出的CARFB模块具有更强的特征学习能力,对不同尺度目标均能取得较好的检测效果,特别是在小目标检测方面,效果提升显著。提出的CARFB模块可以嵌入到任何一个卷积神经网络,能保存更多的目标信息,具有更强的特征学习能力和更高的网络性能,对不同尺度目标均能取得较好的检测效果,尤其对小目标的检测效果提升显著。

The Translation of Children's Literature under the Guidance of Reception Aesthetics

Study on Pollen Viability and Stigma Receptivity of Very Later-ripening ‘Dongxing' Apricot

[Objective] The primary aims of this study were to understand the characteristic of floralorgan development in ‘Dongxing＇, and analyze its differences with other apricot varieties. [Method] Floral organ morphology, pollen quantity, pollen viability and stigma receptivityof ‘Dongxing＇ and other apricot varieties were observed and measured. [Result] The ratio between the medium style and long style of‘Dongxing＇ was 82.4%, and the ratio of pistillode was lower than that in the other apricot varieties. Its pollen quantity was 32 183.2 grains per flower, and was fewer than the others. The pollen germination of ‘Dongxing＇ in optimum medium（1% agar ＋15% sucrose ＋ 0.01% boric acid） was 53.0%, i.e. its pollen viability was low. The pollen viability increased at first and then decreased following the period of the bud stage to flowering stage, and pollen viability reached maximum value at the 1st d after flowering. Meanwhile the stored pollen viability continuously decreased with the extension of storage time, and pollen viability of the both vivo or vitro stored was decreased to the half of the maximum value at the 3rdd after flowering or storage.The stigma receptivity of ‘ongxing＇ enhanced at first then weakened, maximum stigma receptivity was found at the period of 2 h to 4 h after flowering. The optimum time for artificial pollination was 1 h to 8 h after flowering and it was shorter than the other apricot varieties was. [Conclusion] The ratio between the medium style and long style of ‘Dongxing＇ was higher than the other apricot varieties, while the pollen viability of ‘Dongxing＇ on the contrary. Its pollen viability reached maximum value at the 1st d after flowering and the optimum time for artificial pollination was1 h to 8h after flowering.

3种树莓品种花粉活力及贮藏条件的比较

本研究以大红泡、黑莓和掌叶覆盆子3种树莓品种为试材,测定其不同发育时期(花期Ⅰ、Ⅱ、Ⅲ和Ⅳ),不同时间段(8:30、10:30、12:30、14:30和16:30),不同干燥条件(自然干燥法和硅胶干燥法)及不同贮藏条件(4和20℃)下的花粉活力,同时测定树莓花粉不同发育时期的柱头可授性,以筛选出适宜的花粉采集、处理时间及贮藏条件。结果表明,树莓最佳花粉采集期为花期Ⅲ,杂交的最佳授粉期为花期Ⅲ,最佳去雄期为花期Ⅰ和Ⅱ;正午间树莓花粉活力均有所下降,最佳采粉时间段是12:30—14:30;硅胶干燥24 h处理后其花粉活力保存较佳;大红泡、黑莓和掌叶覆盆子含水量分别为20.59%、14.67%和15.36%时耐贮藏性较好,在-20℃贮藏条件下能贮藏90 d。研究结果为树莓杂交育种工作提供参考。

基于数据挖掘与网络药理学探究中医药改善子宫内膜容受性的用药规律及作用机制

目的:基于数据挖掘与网络药理学探究中医药改善子宫内膜容受性(ER)的组方用药规律及潜在作用机制。方法:以ER为主题,通过中国知网、万方学术期刊全文数据库、维普中文科技期刊数据库检索相关文献。依据限定条件筛选后,应用Microsoft Excel 2019软件建立数据库,计算药物使用频次,应用SPSS Modeler 18.0软件进行关联规则分析及复杂网络构建,应用SPSS Statistics 26.0软件进行系统聚类分析。归纳中医药改善ER的用药规律及配伍关系;通过中药系统药理学平台与SwissTargetPrediction数据库获取核心药物的活性成分及靶点,在GeneCards数据库中获取ER低下的潜在作用靶点,将核心药物与ER低下的交集靶点导入String数据库和Cytoscape 3.7.1软件获取关键靶点,对交集靶点进行基因本体(GO)功能富集分析和京都基因与基因组百科全书(KEGG)通路富集分析。结果:通过检索文献,筛选出方剂130首,中药159味,使用频次较高的4味中药依次为菟丝子、当归、熟地黄、丹参;关联规则分析结果显示菟丝子、当归、熟地黄、丹参是改善ER的核心药物;聚类分析获得养血、温阳、滋阴3类药物组合。对“菟丝子-当归-熟地黄-丹参”进行网络药理学分析,获取45个核心药物与ER低下的交集靶点,10个关键靶点。GO功能富集分析结果显示,核心药物改善ER可能通过影响激素反应、细胞迁移与细胞运动的正向调节等生物过程,膜筏、转录调节因子复合物等细胞组分,激素结合、转录因子结合等分子功能发挥作用。KEGG通路富集分析结果显示,核心药物可能通过磷脂酰肌醇3-激酶/蛋白激酶B(PI3K/Akt)信号通路、缺氧诱导因子-1(HIF-1)信号通路、血管内皮生长因子(VEGF)信号通路、叉头框蛋白O(FOXO)信号通路等改善ER。结论:中医药改善ER以补肾填精、养血活血为主,核心药物菟丝子-当归-熟地黄-丹参可能通过肿瘤坏死因子、丝氨酸/苏氨酸激酶1、白细胞介素1β等靶点,调控PI3K/Akt、HIF-1、VEGF、FOXO及细胞衰老、凋亡、自噬等信号通路,减轻炎症反应、促进血管生成、调节蜕膜化等,发挥改善ER的作用,为中医药提高体外受精-胚胎移植成功率提供数据支持及理论依据。
