The effects of the thickness of hole transport layer and the barriers of organic/organic interface on the combination efficiency and recombination width have been discussed. It is found that: (1) When the electrons are blocked fully and the holes are not blocked significantly at the organic/organic interface, for a given Lh/L, the recombination efficiency increases with increasing the applied voltage, but at a higher applied voltage, the recombination efficiency decreases with increasing Lh/L; (2) The recombination efficiency increases with increasing applied voltage and Hh', and when applied voltage and Hh' exceed some value, the recombination efficiency appears as a plateau; (3) The recombination width decreases with increasing the applied voltage and Lh/L. This model might explain the relative experiment phenomena.展开更多

The influences of the applied electric field on the injection efficiency, recombination efficiency and electroluminescent efficiency are discussed. It is found that: (1) The injection efficiency is increasing while the recombination efficiency is decreasing with the applied electric field increasing. (2) The EL efficiency is enhanced at low electric field slowly but is decreasing at high electric field with the increase of applied voltage. (3) The EL efficiency is decreasing with the increase of the host-guest molecular distance (R). So, it is concluded that the EL efficiency in single-layer organic electrophosphorescent devices is dominated by injection efficiency at lower electric field and recombination efficiency at higher electric field.展开更多

The phosphorus utilization efficiency(PUE) and PUE related traits(tiller number(TN), shoot dry weight(DW), and root dry weight) under different phytate-P conditions(low phytate-P, 0.05 mmol L^-1 and normal phytate-P, 0.5 mmol L^-1) were investigated using a population consisting of 128 recombinant inbred lines(RILs) at the vegetative stage in barley. The population was derived from a cross between a P-inefficient genotype(Baudin) and a P-efficient genotype(CN4027, a Hordeum spontaneum accession). A major locus(designated Qpue.sau-3 H) conferring PUE was detected in shoots and roots from the RIL population. The quantitative trait locus(QTL) was mapped on chromosome 3 H and the allele from CN4027 confers high PUE. This locus explained up to 30.3 and 28.4% of the phenotypic variance in shoots under low and normal phytate-P conditions, respectively. It also explains 28.3 and 30.7% of the phenotypic variation in root under the low and normal phytate-P conditions, respectively. Results from this study also showed that TN was not correlated with PUE, and a QTL controlling TN was detected on chromosome 5 H. However, dry weight(DW) was significantly and positively correlated with PUE, and a QTL controlling DW was detected near the Qpue.sau-3 H locus. Based on a covariance analysis, existing data indicated that, although DW may affect PUE, different genes at this locus are likely involved in controlling these two traits.展开更多

The power conversion efficiency of this new class of solar cells has been increased to a point where they are beginning to compete with more established technologies. Although PSCs have evolved a variety of structures, the use of hole-transporting materials(HTMs) remains indispensable. Here, an overview of the various types of available HTMs is presented. This includes organic and inorganic HTMs and is presented alongside recent progress in associated aspects of PSCs, including device architectures and fabrication techniques to produce high-quality perovskite films. The structure, electrochemistry, and physical properties of a variety of HTMs are discussed, highlighting considerations for those designing new HTMs. Finally, an outlook is presented to provide more concrete direction for the development and optimization of HTMs for highefficiency PSCs.展开更多
