Taking the aquaculture area, the number of farming boats and that of aquaculturist as input variables, the aquaculture production as desirable output variable and polluted economic loss as undesirable output variable,...Taking the aquaculture area, the number of farming boats and that of aquaculturist as input variables, the aquaculture production as desirable output variable and polluted economic loss as undesirable output variable, this paper conducts SBM model to evaluate the aquaculture efficiency based on the data of 16 aquaculture-developed provinces in China from 2004 to 2011. The results show the efficiency in China has not changed much in recent years with the efficiency values mainly between 0.39 and 0.53, and the efficiency of marine-aquaculture-dominated provinces is generally higher than that of freshwater-aquaculture-dominated ones. To analyze the difference under the efficiency, the panel Tobit model is used with education level factor, training factor, technology extension factor, technical level factor, scale factor and species factor as the efficiency influencing factors. The results show that technology extension factor and technical level factor have significant positive influence.展开更多

One reason for peak voltage is the resonance of the transformer's leakage inductance and the rectifier diodes' junction capacitances. The other reason is that the fast reverse recovery current of the rectifier diodes flows through the transformer's leakage inductance. An H bridge composed of four diodes,an auxiliary inductance, and a clamping winding were adopted in the proposed converter,and peak voltage was suppressed by varying the equivalent inductance, principally in different operating modes. Experimental results demonstrate that the peak voltage of rectifier diodes decreases by 43%,the auxiliary circuit does not lead to additional loss, and the rising rate, resonant frequency,and amplitude of the rectifier diodes' voltage decrease.Peak voltage and electromagnetic interference( EMI) of rectifier diodes are suppressed.展开更多

This paper focuses on the design and simulation of the voltage doubler rectifier circuit at 2.45 GHz operating frequency. The design of a rectifier is optimized based on the use of Schottky diode HSMS 286 B due to its low forward voltage at this frequency. 2 stages of the Schottky diode voltage doublers circuit are designed and simulated in this paper. The shunt capacitor and optimal load resistance are also introduced in the course to reduce signal loss. A multi-stage rectifier is used to produce maximum power conversion from AC to DC. The simulated results present that the maximum output voltage of 6.651 V with an input power of 25 dBm is produced, which presents a maximum power conversion efficiency of 73.13%, which applicable in small device applications.展开更多
This paper presents a compact multi-band rectifier with an improved impedance matching bandwidth.It uses a combination of–matching network(MN)at Port-1,with a parallel connection of three cell branch MN at Port-2.The...This paper presents a compact multi-band rectifier with an improved impedance matching bandwidth.It uses a combination of–matching network(MN)at Port-1,with a parallel connection of three cell branch MN at Port-2.The proposed impedance matching network(IMN)is adopted to reduce circuit complexity,to improve circuit performance,and power conversion efficiency(PCE)of the rectifier at low input power.The fabricated rectifier prototype operates at 0.92,1.82,2.1,2.46 and 2.65 GHz covering GSM/900,GSM/1800,UMTS2100,and Wi-Fi/2.45–LTE2600.The size of the compact rectifier on the PCB board is 0.13λ_(g)×0.1λ_(g).The fabricated rectifier achieved an RF-to DC(radio frequency direct current)PCE of 31.8%,24%,22.7%,and 15%,and 14.1%for−20 dBm at the five respective measured operating frequencies.The circuit attains a peak RF-to-DC PCE of 82.3%for an input power of 3 dBm at 0.92 GHz.The proposed rectifier realizes an ambient output dc voltage of 454 mV for multi-tone input signals from the two ports.The rectifier drives a bq25504-674 power management module(PMM)to achieve 1.21 V from the two-port connection.The rectifier has the ability to exploit both frequency domain through the multi-band operation with good impedance bandwidth and a spatial domain using dual-port configuration.Hence,it is a potential candidate for various applications in radio frequency energy harvesting(RFEH)system.展开更多

Purpose–Under the dual pressure of resources and environment,many countries have focused on the role of railways in promoting low-carbon development of integrated transportation and of even the whole society.This pap...Purpose–Under the dual pressure of resources and environment,many countries have focused on the role of railways in promoting low-carbon development of integrated transportation and of even the whole society.This paper aims to provide a comprehensive study on methods to improve railway energy efficiency in other national railways and achievements made by China’s railways in the past practice,and then to propose ways in which in the future China’s railways could rationally select the path of improving energy efficiency regarding the needs of the nation’s ever-shifting development and carry out the re-engineering for mechanism innovation in energy conservation and emission reduction process.Design/methodology/approach–This paper first studies other national railways that have tried to promote the improvement of railway energy efficiency by the ways of technology,management and structural reconstruction to reduce energy consumption and carbon emissions.Among them,the effect of structural energy conservation and emission reduction has become more prominent.It has become the main energy conservation and emission reduction measure adopted by foreign railway sectors.The practice of energy conservation and emission reduction of railways in various countries has tended to shift from a technical level to a structural one.Findings–Key aspects in improving energy efficiency include re-optimization of energy structure,reinnovation of energy-saving technologies and optimization of transportation organization.Path selection includes continuing to promote electrified railway construction,increasing the use of new and renewable energy sources,and promoting the reform of railway transportation organizations.Originality/value–This paper provides further challenges and research directions in the proposed area and has referential value for the methodologies,approaches for practice in a Chinese context.To achieve the expected goals,relevant supporting policies and measures need to be formulated,including actively guiding integrated transportation toward railway-oriented development,promoting innovation in energy-saving and emission reduction mechanisms and strengthening policy incentives,focusing on improving the energy efficiency of railways through market behavior.At the same time,it is necessary to pay attention to new phenomena in the railway industry for track and analysis.展开更多

The bottleneck of strontium compounds preparing from celestite is the promotion of Sr/S isolation efficiency.Low energy consumption and zero release method for isolating Sr/S in preparing Sr(OH)2 process from celestit...The bottleneck of strontium compounds preparing from celestite is the promotion of Sr/S isolation efficiency.Low energy consumption and zero release method for isolating Sr/S in preparing Sr(OH)2 process from celestite in mild condition was described.Sr element remained in precipitation with formation of Sr(OH)2,while S element entered into leachate with formation of Na2SO4.The effects of initial concentration of NaOH,conversion temperature,liquid-to-solid(L/S)ratio and conversion time on Sr/S ratio of samples for celestite conversion were systematically investigated by experiments.The results demonstrated that the efficiency of Sr/S isolation increased with the initial concentration of NaOH,L/S ratio and conversion time,and decreased with conversion temperature.The maximum conversion ratio of Sr(OH)2 was 93.88%under the optimum condition,whose Sr/S ratio of sample could reach to 41.16.It illustrated that better isolation efficiency of celestite could be achieved in alkaline treatment.The results of SEM-EDS analyses demonstrated that the conversion reaction was a dissolution-precipitation process.展开更多
