Analysis and Evaluation of Red Resources in Shanghai Urban Area based on ArcGIS

Through extensive access to party history materials,combined with professional knowledge,the existing red resources in Shanghai are studied from multi-dimensional,multi-level and multi-integration perspectives,to learn party history from a new perspective.Through ArcGIS platform,the geographical distribution of red resources in Shanghai urban area is analyzed,and classification analysis,kernel density analysis and accessibility analysis are carried out according to resource types,grade of patriotism education base and grade of heritage preservation.The existing red resources in Shanghai urban area are evaluated,and the optimization suggestions are put forward.

Development of Yimeng Red Tourism Resources from the Perspective of Tourist Perception

In this paper,the connotation of red tourism is explained from a new perspective firstly.On the basis of summarizing and evaluating the red tourism resources in Yimeng,combined with the current development status of red tourism in Yimeng region,based on the subjective evaluation of tourists on the development of red tourism in Yimeng region,several targeted suggestions for the development of red tourism in Yimeng are proposed.

Red Resource Excavation and Tourism Industry Revitalization under the Context of Cultural and Tourism Integration: A Case Study of Yubai Village, Mentougou District

Under the background of promoting rural revitalization, the coordinated development of rural red resources and tourism industry has become the urgent need of the development of the times. Through the field survey and literature research of Yubai Village in Yanchi Town, Mentougou District, the red resources of the village are excavated, and the development status of tourism industry is analyzed. Moreover, the development model of “red + tourism” is proposed, and the research value of red resources based on rural construction is summarized.

Distribution and Path of Red Resource in Yuexiu District of Guangzhou City

Guangzhou has abundant red cultural resources, and many historical events took place here,such as the Third National Congress of the Communist Party of China, the first Kuomingtang-Communist Party cooperation, and Guangzhou Uprising. Yuexiu District is the region with the most abundant and concentrated red resources in Guangzhou, covering an area of 33.8 km;. There are 31 red historical sites and 23 patriotic education bases in the district, which record the activities of the Communist Party of China, and are of great significance for tracing history and patriotic education. In this paper, the red resources in Yuexiu District are classified and sorted out. Based on the distribution and protection status of the red resources, the path planning of the red resources in Yuexiu District is made to contribute to the development of red tourism.

Red Soil Resource Information System and Its Preliminary Application

Red soil is a very important soil resource in southern China. However, due to being simultaneously of high productive potentialities and severely degraded, it needs harnessing urgently. Red Soil Resource Information System (RSRIS) based on remote sensing and geographic information system (GIS) plays an important role in survey, evaluation, utilization and management of red soil resource. RSRIS of Quzhou City) Zhejiang Province (1:250000) and RSRIS of Longyou County, Zhejiang Province (1:50000) have been made respectively on SUN SPARC station and using ARC/INFO. This paper introduces the system design,database creation and system functions, and it particularly focuses on developing applied models, such as red soil resource division and mapping, suitability evaluation, erosion risk evaluation, plant utilization zone etc. The problems on study of RSRIS and its developing strategy are also discussed.

Integration of Soil Information System and Interactive Self-Organizing Data for Agricultural Developing Zones in Red Soil Region

Integration of soil information system (SIS) and interactive self-organizing data (ISODATA) was studied to establish proper agricultural developing zones in red soil region of southern China which are of crucial importance to farmers, researchers, and decision makers while utilizing and managing red soil resources. SIS created by using ARC/INPO was used to provide data acquisition, systematic model parameter assignment, and visual display of analytic results. Topography, temperature, soil component (e.g., organic matter and pH) and condition of agricultural production were selected as parameters of ISODATA model. Taking Longyou County, Zhejiang Province as the case study area, the effect of the integration and recommendations are discussed for future research.

The Design and Construction of Jiangxi Red Tourism Resource E-C/C-E Bilingual Parallel Corpus

On the basis of description of the necessity in construction of the Jiangxi red tourism resource E-C/C-E bilingual parallel corpus, this paper discusses the design and construction of the corpus. In its design, it describes the general design and the framework of the corpus, then it describes its construction including data collection, the standard for the sorted data, data selection, data digitalization, data tagging and data aligning. With the construction, it will not only realize purposes and functions of the corpus, but also provide others with ways or means to use the corpus and to establish such kind of corpus.

A Study of Resource Curse Effect of Chinese Provinces Based on Human Developing Index

Traditional opinion considers that natural resources play an important positive role in economic development, while resource curse theory holds that natural resources usually obstruct economic increase. This debate needs further exploration. In most of empirical studies on resource curse theory, the economic development of an area is mainly evaluated by the Gross Domestic Product(GDP), however, the social and cultural contents of economic development are seldom considered. Thus, the Human Developing Index(HDI) was chosen to describe the comprehensive developing situation of an area in our study. Based on the panel data from the year of 2000 to 2011, the relationship between Human Developing Index and resource exploitation degree(RED) of 30 provinces in China(Tibet, Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macao were not included because of the restriction of data acquisition) was investigated by correlation coefficient analysis and regression analysis. We found that resource curse did exist over the entire country and its effect on 30 provinces were not exactly the same. According to the effects of resource curse, these provinces could be classified into four types: no resource curse provinces, slight resource curse provinces, severe resource curse provinces, and extreme resource curse provinces. Testing from two short time periods 2000–2005, and 2006–2011, the resource curse effect was not prominent. However, testing from the entire period of 2000–2011, the effect was obvious among each province.
