Firstly, by a series of coordinate changes, the original system is re-parameterized. Then, by introducing a reduced-order observer, an error system is obtained. Basedon the system, a reduced-order adaptive backstepping controller design scheme is given. It is provedthat all the signals in the adaptive control system are globally uniformly bounded, and the regulationerror converges to zero asymptotically. Due to the order deduction of the controller, the design schemein this paper has more practical values. A simulation example further demonstrates the e?ciency ofthe control scheme. 展开更多

It is shown that there exists a controller with order not greater than the difference between the generalized plant order and the number of independent control variables, if the mixed sensitivity problem is solvable for strict regular flight control plants. The proof is constructive, and an approach to design such a controller can be obtained in terms of a pair of feasible solution to the well known 3 LMI. In this paper,an integrated guidance and control method based on an adaptive path-following controller is proposed to control a spin-stabilized projectile with only translational motion information under the constraint of an actuator,uncertainties in aerodynamic parameters and measurements,and control system complexity.Owing to the fairly high rotation speed,the dynamic model of this missile is strongly nonlinear,uncertain and coupled in pitch,yaw and roll channels.A theoretical equivalent resultant force and uncertainty compensation method are comprehensively used to realize decoupling of pitch and yaw.In response to the strong nonlinear and time-varying characteristics of the dynamic system,the quasi-linear model whose parameters are obtained by interpolation of points selected as the segmentation points in the trajectory envelope,is used for calculation in each step.To cope with the system uncertainty caused by model approximation,parameter uncertainty and ballistic interference,an extended state estimator is used to compensate the output feedback according to the test ballistic angle.In order to improve the tracking efficiency and ensure the tracking error convergence with only translational motion information,the virtual guide point,whose derivative is deduced according to the Lyapunov principle,is calculated in real time according to the projection relationship between the real-time position and the reference trajectory,and a virtual line-of-sight angle and the backstepping method are used for the design of the guidance and control system.In order to avoid the influence of control input saturation on the guidance and control performance due to the actuator limitation and improve the robustness of the system,an anti-saturation compensator is designed according to the two-step method.The feasibility and effectiveness of the path-following controller is verified through closed-loop flight simulations with measurement,control,and condition uncertainties.The results indicate that the designed controller can converge to the reference path and evidently decrease the distance between the impact point and target under different uncertainties. 展开更多

Thus, as compared with a full-order sliding mode observer, in order to reduce the execution time of the estimation, a reduced-order discrete-time Extended sliding mode observer is proposed for on-line estimation of rotor flux, speed and rotor resistance in an induction motor using a robust feedback linearization control. Simulations results on Matlab-Simulink environment for a 1.8 kW induction motor are presented to prove the effectiveness and high robustness of the proposed nonlinear control and observer against modeling uncertainty and measurement noise. 展开更多

So a reduced model based controller has been developed, which requires only the information of space robot base velocity and link parameters. The flexible link is modeled as Euler Bernoulli beam. To simplify the analysis we have considered Jacobian of rigid manipulator. Bond graph modeling is used to model the dynamics of the system and to devise the control strategy. A new kind of generalized reduced-order synchronization of different chaotic systems is proposed in this paper. It is shown that dynamical evolution of third-order oscillator can be synchronized with the canonical projection of a fourth-order chaotic system generated through nonsingular states transformation from a cell neural net chaotic system. In this sense, it is said that generalized synchronization is achieved in reduced-order. The synchronization discussed here expands the scope of reduced-order synchronization studied in relevant literatures. In this way, we can achieve generalized reduced-order synchronization between many famous chaotic systems such as the second-order Drifting system and the third-order Lorenz system by designing a fast slide mode controller. [ Method] The field trids were carried out by routine spraying method, and the control effects of mixtures of Beichuang ( Liangfenbao and Jianweikang) and less dose of phoxim than conrentional against B. odoriphaga larvae were examined. [Result] The results indicated that the control effects of mixtures (containing 14% of Liandeibao or Jian- veikang and 30% -40% less phoxim than conventional dosage) against B. odoriphaga larvae were 84.01% -2.46% and 81.07% -86.12%, respectively. The mntrol effects were equivalent to the conventional dose of phoxim (89.42%). [ Conclusion] When Beichuang is mixed with phoxim in controlling B. odor/phaga arvae, the suitable reduction level of phoxim is 30% -40%. 展开更多

Agricultural sustainability has benefited from the broad adoption of conservation agriculture(CA)practices for decades,in which the reduction of mechanical disturbances to soil(also known as reduced tillage,RT)is one of the most essential principles for CA implementation.Many studies have recommended the advantages of CA practices in the promotion of biodiversity,but the integrated impacts on crop productivity and biodiversity remain unclear.Since CA has been applied in rice production in the subtropical area of southern China for several years,the effects of CA,particularly the RT methods,need to be evaluated for the local and long-term adoption.In this study,we established an integrated network to illustrate how the reduction of tillage intensity influenced organisms including invertebrates(such as rice pests and their predators),pathogens and weeds,and then led to an impact on rice yield.The two-year study demonstrated that major rice pests,such as rice planthoppers,stem borers and apple snails,were effectively controlled by RT practice.Similarly,the occurrence of common diseases declined with less tillage.Compared to the conventional tillage(CT)treatment,the density of weeds in paddy fields deceased significantly in the RT treatment.In addition,the diversity and richness of pest predators increased remarkably in paddy fields where either reduced or no tillage was applied,which highlighted the significance of a CA strategy for the promotion of biodiversity in the agroecosystem.More importantly,the rice yield gradually increased after the two-year reduction of tillage.Taken together,our results suggest that the reduction of tillage intensity is beneficial for the protection of rice crops from various pests,and facilitates the sustainability of the agroecosystem and rice yield,which provides a solid basis and novel insights for the establishment of sustainable agroecosystems by CA-related practices in rice production in southern China. 展开更多

On Synchronization of Pinning-Controlled Networks with Reducible and Asymmetric Coupling Matrix

This paper investigates the synchronization of directed networks whose coupling matrices are reducible and asymmetrical by pinning-controlled schemes. A strong sufficient condition is obtained to guarantee that the synchronization of the kind of networks can be achieved. For the weakly connected network, a method is presented in detail to solve two challenging fundamental problems arising in pinning control of complex networks: (1) How many nodes should be pinned? (2) How large should the coupling strength be used in a fixed complex network to realize synchronization? Then, we show the answer to the question that why all the diagonal block matrices of Perron-Frobenius normal matrices should be pinned? Besides, we find out the relation between the Perron-Frobenius normal form of coupling matrix and the differences of two synchronization conditions for strongly connected networks and weakly connected ones with linear coupling configuration. Moreover, we propose adaptive feedback algorithms to make the coupling strength as small as possible. Finally, numerical simulations are given to verify our theoretical analysis. 展开更多

An electrochemical biosensing platform was developed based on glucose oxidase(GOx)/Fe3O4-reduced graphene oxide(Fe3O4-RGO) nanosheets loaded on the magnetic glassy carbon electrode(MGCE).With the advantages of the magnetism, conductivity and biocompatibility of the Fe3O4-RGO nanosheets, the nanocomposites could be facilely adhered to the electrode surface by magnetically controllable assembling and beneficial to achieve the direct redox reactions and electrocatalytic behaviors of GOx immobilized into the nanocomposites. The biosensor exhibited good electrocatalytic activity, high sensitivity and stability. The current response is linear over glucose concentration ranging from 0.05 to 1.5 m M with a low detection limit of0.15 μM. Meanwhile, validation of the applicability of the biosensor was carried out by determining glucose in serum samples. The proposed protocol is simple, inexpensive and convenient, which shows great potential in biosensing application. 展开更多

There is always need for secure transmission of information and simultaneously compact-size photonic circuits. This can be achieved if surface plasmon-polaritons(SPPs) are used as source of information, and the reduced hacking as the transmission phenomenon. In this article, an SPP-based reduced hacking scheme is presented at interface between atomic medium and metallic conductor. The SPP propagation is manipulated with conductivity of the metal. The delay or advance of the SPP is found to create nanosecond time gap which can be used for storing and sending the information safely. The reduced hacking is further modified with conductivity of the metal and the control parameters of the atomic medium. 展开更多

The mechanisms of oxygen-reduced air flooding(ORAF)and the explosion limit and the corrosion control approaches were studied based on the pilots of oxygen-reduced air flooding(ORAF)in the Dagang,Changqing and Daqing oil fields in China.On the foundation of indoor investigations and pilots,the explosion limits,oxygen reduction limits and corrosion control approaches were clarified.When the temperature of reservoir is equal to and higher than 120℃,there is a violent reaction between oxygen and crude oil,that means the effect of low temperature oxidation would be fully taken use of to enhance oil recovery by air flooding directly;nitrogen dominated immiscible flooding with oxygen-reduced air should be applied in cases where reservoir temperature is below 120℃ with little oxygen consumption and little heat generated.The oxygen-reduced air flooding is suitable for 3 types of reservoirs:low permeability reservoir,water flooding development reservoir of high water-cut and high temperature and high salinity reservoir.In the process of development,in order to ensure safety,the oxygen reduction limits should be controlled fewer than 10%,while oxygen-reduced air can obviously reduce the corrosion rate of pipes;The surface pipelines and injection wells don’t need to consider about oxygen corrosion with no water,special materials and structure of pipe or corrosion inhibitor can be applied to the surface pipelines and injection wellbores with water.Air/oxygen-reduced air is a low-cost displacement medium and it could be applied in many special conditions of low permeability reservoir for energy supplement,huff and puff and displacement,that means oxygen-reduced air flooding has become the most potential strategic technology in 20 years. 展开更多

The design of reduced-order controllers is considered for stabilization control, covariance upper bound control, linear quadratic regulator, ∞ control, H∞ control, positive real control problems and robust H2 control, robust ∞ control and robust H∞ control problems for generalized linear plants without any additional assumptions. An upper bound of the order is obtained with which the (robust) controllers can guarantee stability constraints and satisfy the same design objectives as the so-called 'full-order' controllers. A unified linear-matrix-inequality ( LMI) based approach to reduced-order (robust) controller design for all the above-mentioned problems is provided. It us shown that each of these problems is solvable if and only if two uncoupled LMIs with an LMI-type constraint have a pair of positive definite solutions, one of which has a lower dimension than that given by Skelton and iwasaki (1995). All desired reduced-order (robust) controllers are parameterized via the solutions of LMIs Moreover, a design procedure is proposed based on the above LMI approach. 展开更多

Aim To study a method realizing noise control for a physical model of progressive wave in a duct. Methods A mathematical model was constructed and a transfer function of the adaptive system for noise control was also worked out; moreover, the effects of some algorithms such as RLS,LMS and LSL on noise control were analyzed and compared. Results Without the feedback of sound, the mean noise reduce value(MNRV) of 27 5 dB for broadband noise from 0 to 500?Hz in frequency were achieved. When acoustic feedback took place and an air stream loudspeaker was used, the MNRV was only about 4 9?dB. But if the loudspeaker had a plain frequency feature, MNRV was improved by 10 2?dB. Conclusion The technique is applied to ruducing the noise from engines' exhausted gas pipes. It is, in principle, used for noise cancelling in a closed three dimensional space. 展开更多
