N2, CF4, 20% CF4+N2 and 50%CF4+50%N2 binary gas mixtures were tested under the conditions of –153–25 ℃ and 50–2000 Pa. The experimental results show that the minimum of Paschen curves of all test samples shifts to low pressure, from 500 Pa to 200 Pa. The value of Paschen curve minimum of N2 shows remarkable fluctuation. This fluctuation is explained by molecule agglomeration and electronic mean energy. The fluctuation decreases with the increasing mixing ratio of CF4. What’s more, the value of Paschen curve minimum of CF4 decreases with temperature. This phenomenon is ascribed to attach-radiation and secondary process.展开更多

In order to improve of bio-preservation efficacy ofL. delbrueckii MH 10 mutations causing resistance to streptomycin (str) were used. Among UV-mutagenized population of L. delbruecla'i three str mutants producing high amounts of H2O2 were selected. Sir mutants produced significant amounts of hydrogen peroxide 50-60 μg/ml in sodium phosphate buffer (0.2 M, pH 6.5) and in beef broth (BB) at 5 ℃ for 5 days submerged cultivation without of growth. Evaluation mutants antibacterialactivity at refrigeration temperatures against food-borne pathogen Escherichia coli O157:H7 revealed elimination of pathogen total number up to practically undetectable amount for 3 days. In case of solid-state cultivation on agar-based medium, disks soaked by mutant cells suspensions formed larger inhibitory zones on E. coli O157:H7 lawn for one-day cold exposition. The size of inhibition zone depends on concentration of LAB cells. Str mutants L. delbrueckii reduced initial amount 2 - 105 of E. coil O 157:H7 in ground beef up to 3 log for 3 days of solid-state cocultivation when the wild strain reduced only 2 log. The application ofL. delbrueckii mutants did not cause any changes in sensory characteristics of ground beef, moreover promotes expanding of shelf-life due to inhibition of psychrophilic spoilage microorganisms.展开更多

The thermodynamic investigations on per- formance of MRERC2 using zeotropic mixture refrigerant R23/R134a are performed, and the comparisons of cycle performance between MRERC2 and MRERC1 CMRERC with one-stage vapor-liquid separator) are conducted. The results show that MRERC2 can achieve refrigeration temperature varying between -23.9℃ and -42.0℃ when ejector pressure ratio ranges from 1.6 to 2.3 at the generation temperature of 57.3-84.9℃. The parametric analysis indicates that increasing condensing temperature decreases coefficient of performance (COP) of MRERC2, and increasing ejector pressure ratio and mass fraction of the low boiling point component in the mixed refrigerant can improve COP of MRERC2. The MRERC2 shows its potential in utilizing low grade thermal energy as driving power to obtain low refrigeration temperature for the ejector refrigeration cycle.展开更多

The results showed that all the compounds presented cubic Na Zn13-type structure. Their Curie temperatures changed complicatedly with decreasing Al content due to changes of antiferromagnetic and ferromagnetic interaction. Under a field change from 0 to 2 T, the maximum magnetic entropy change for La_(0.8)Ce_(0.2)Fe_(11.5)Al_(1.1)Si_(0.4), La_(0.8)Ce_(0.2)Fe_(11.5)Al_(1.0)Si_(0.5), La_(0.8)Ce_(0.2)Fe_(11.5)Al_(0.9)Si_(0.6) and La_(0.8)Ce_(0.2)Fe_(11.5)Al_(0.8)Si_(0.7) were found to be –9.6, –4.8, –5.8 and –11.7 J/(kg·K), respectively. Moreover, their hysteresis losses were 1.13 J/(kg·K) or less. The large magnetic entropy changed and small hysteresis losses made them potential candidates for practical magnetic refrigeration application.展开更多
