Thermoelectric materials have aroused widespread concern due to their unique ability to directly convert heat to electricity without any moving parts or noxious emissions.Taking advantages of two-dimensional structure...Thermoelectric materials have aroused widespread concern due to their unique ability to directly convert heat to electricity without any moving parts or noxious emissions.Taking advantages of two-dimensional structures of thermoelectric films,the potential applications of thermoelectric materials are diversified,particularly in microdevices.Well-controlled nanostructures in thermoelectric films are effective to optimize the electrical and thermal transport,which can significantly improve the performance of thermoelectric materials.In this paper,various physical and chemical approaches to fabricate thermoelectric films,including inorganic,organic,and inorganic–organic composites,are summarized,where more attentions are paid on the inorganic thermoelectric films for their excellent thermoelectric responses.Additionally,strategies for enhancing the performance of thermoelectric films are also discussed.展开更多
To address the scheduling problem involving energy storage systems and uncertain energy,we propose a method based on multi-stage robust optimization.This approach aims to regulate the energy storage system by using a ...To address the scheduling problem involving energy storage systems and uncertain energy,we propose a method based on multi-stage robust optimization.This approach aims to regulate the energy storage system by using a multi-stage robust optimal control method,which helps overcome the limitations of traditional methods in terms of time scale.The goal is to effectively utilize the energy storage power station system to address issues caused by unpredictable variations in environmental energy and fluctuating load throughout the day.To achieve this,a mathematical model is constructed to represent uncertain energy sources such as photovoltaic and wind power.The generalized Benders Decomposition method is then employed to solve the multi-stage objective optimization problem.By decomposing the problem into a series of sub-objectives,the system scale is effectively reduced,and the algorithm’s convergence ability is improved.Compared with other algorithms,the multi-stage robust optimization model has better economy and convergence ability and can be used to guide the power dispatching of uncertain energy and energy storage systems.展开更多
This work is based on a direct current(DC)natural current commutation topology,which uses load-carrying branch contacts carrying rated current and multiple sets of series arcing branch contacts in parallel to achieve ...This work is based on a direct current(DC)natural current commutation topology,which uses load-carrying branch contacts carrying rated current and multiple sets of series arcing branch contacts in parallel to achieve circuit breaking.The proposed topology can meet the new requirements of higher voltage DC switches in aviation,aerospace,energy and other fields.First,a magneto-hydrodynamic arc model is built using COMSOL Multiphysics,and the different arc breaking characteristics of the arcing branch contacts in different gas environments are simulated.Then,a voltage uniformity coefficient is used to measure the voltage sharing effect in the process of dynamic interruption.In order to solve the dispersion of arcing contact action,a structural control method is adopted to improve the voltage uniformity coefficient.The uniform voltage distribution can improve the breaking capacity and electrical life of the series connection structure.展开更多
By combing the characteristics of drilling in Antarctic region, performance requirements on drilling fluid for Antarctic low temperature conditions, and research progress of low temperature drilling fluid, current pro...By combing the characteristics of drilling in Antarctic region, performance requirements on drilling fluid for Antarctic low temperature conditions, and research progress of low temperature drilling fluid, current problems of the drilling fluid have been sorted out, and the development direction of the drilling fluid has been pointed out. Drilling in the Antarctic region mainly includes drilling in snow, ice and subglacial rock formations, and drilling in Antarctic low temperature conditions will face problems in four aspects:(1) low temperature and large temperature changes in the drilling area;(2) likely well leakage and drillstring-sticking in the snow layer, creep in the ice layer, ice chip gathering jamming in the warm ice layer, well wall collapse in the subglacial rock formations;(3) lack of infrastructure and difficulty in logistical support;(4) fragile environment and low carrying capacity. After years of development, progresses have been made on low-temperature drilling fluids for the Antarctic region. Low-temperature petroleum-based drilling fluid, ethanol/ethylene glycol-based drilling fluid, ester-based drilling fluid and silicone oil-based drilling fluid have been developed. However, these drilling fluids have problems such as insufficient low-temperature tolerance, low environmental performance and weak wellbore stability, etc. In order to meet the performance requirements of drilling fluid under low-temperature conditions in Antarctic region, the working mechanisms of low-temperature drilling fluid must be examined in depth;environment-friendly low-temperature base fluid of drilling fluid and related additives must be developed to prepare environmentally friendly low temperature drilling fluid systems;multi-functional integrated adjustment method for drilling fluid must be worked out to ensure well wall stability and improve cutting-carry capacity when drilling ice formations and ice-rock interlayers;and on-site support operation codes must be established to provide technical support for Antarctic drilling.展开更多

Objective To evaluate the clinical effectiveness of professor WU Lian-zhong's "resuscitation and regulating muscle" acupuncture method for spasmodic torticollis(ST) based on syndrome differentiation,and to compar...Objective To evaluate the clinical effectiveness of professor WU Lian-zhong's "resuscitation and regulating muscle" acupuncture method for spasmodic torticollis(ST) based on syndrome differentiation,and to compare the efficacy of acupuncture treatment between the patients with spasmodic torticollis who were not given botulinum toxin A by injection and the patients given botulinum toxin A by injection.Methods Forty patients were divided into treatment group(not given botulinum toxin A by injection) and control group(given botulinum toxin A by injection),with 20 patients in each group."Resuscitation and regulating muscle" acupuncture method was adopted in both two groups,and the treatment lasted for 6 months.The clinical efficacy in both two groups was compared after treatment.Tsui's Scale was applied to evaluate the overall effect,the abnormal posture of cervical spine and dystonic tremor.Toronto Western Spasmodic Torticollis Rating Scale(TWSTRS) was used for scoring the severity of torticollis,quality of life and pain.Results After treatment,the markedly effective rate and the total effective rate in treatment group were 35.0% and 90.0%,respectively,which were superior to those in control group,namely 20.0% and 75.0%,and the efficacy difference was statistically significant for the total effective rate(P0.05).It was shown according to the Tsui's Scale and TWSTRS that the differences were statistically significant when compared the two groups before and after treatment(all P0.01);the difference of intergroup comparison after treatment was statistically significant(P0.05).No adverse effect was found in both two groups during acupuncture treatment.Conclusion "Resuscitation and regulating muscle" acupuncture method can effectively improve the clinical symptoms of ST patients,and better efficacy is found in the patients not given botulinum toxin A by injection.The course of treatment of acupuncture treatment for torticollis patients is longer,and the patients should insist on treatment,and keep a good attitude.展开更多
Objective To observe the clinical efficacy of the needling method for regulating wei qi and strengthening brain on insomnia.Method Two hundred patients with insomnia were randomly divided into a group of regulating we...Objective To observe the clinical efficacy of the needling method for regulating wei qi and strengthening brain on insomnia.Method Two hundred patients with insomnia were randomly divided into a group of regulating wei qi and strengthening brain(group A) and a group of normal acupuncture(group B)through random number table method,with 100 cases in each group.In group A,Baihui(百会 GV20),Dazhui(大椎 GV 14),Shenmai(申脉 BL62),Zhaohai(照海 KI 6) and auricular points Yuanzhong(缘中 AT 2,3,4i),and Shenmen(神门TF 4) were selected;and in group B,Sishencong(四神聪 EX-HN 1),Shenmen(神门 HT 7),and Sanyinjiao(三阴交 SP 6) were selected.Acupuncture was given on these points once daily for 15 days.Pittsburgh sleep quality index(PSQI) was used for scoring and curative effect was evaluated before and after treatment.Results The total effective rate was 89.0%(89/100) in group A and 65.0%(65/100) in group B with a very significant difference between the two groups(P〈0.01);the difference of PSQI scores before and after treatment was(-9.15±5.68)in group A and(-5.64±5.73)in group B,with a very significant difference before and after treatment in the two groups(P〈0.01).Conclusion The therapeutic effect of the needling method for regulating wei qi and strengthening brain on insomnia is superior to that of normal needling method.展开更多
