Working with mean orbital elements, the secular drift of the longitude of the ascending node...For a satellite in an orbit of more than 1600 km in altitude, the effects of Sun and Moon on the orbit can’t be negligible. Working with mean orbital elements, the secular drift of the longitude of the ascending node and the sum of the argu-ment of perigee and mean anomaly are set equal between two neighboring orbits to negate the separation over time due to the potential of the Earth and the third body effect. The expressions for the second order conditions that guaran-tee that the drift rates of two neighboring orbits are equal on the average are derived. To this end, the Hamiltonian was developed. The expressions for the non-vanishing time rate of change of canonical elements are obtained.展开更多

The study of stratospheric airships has become the focus in many countries in recent years,because of its potential applications in many fields.Lightweight and high strength envelopes are the keys to the design of str...The study of stratospheric airships has become the focus in many countries in recent years,because of its potential applications in many fields.Lightweight and high strength envelopes are the keys to the design of stratospheric airships,as it directly determines the endurance flight performance and loading deformation characteristics of the airship.A typical envelope of any stratospheric airship is a coated-fabric material which is composed of a fiber layer and several functional membrane layers.According to composite structure,nonlinearity and viscoelasticity are the two main characteristics of such envelope.Based on the analysis on the interaction between the different components in the micro-mechanical model of the coated-fabric,several invariant values reflecting the characteristics of the envelope material are obtained according to invariant theory.Furthermore,the constitutive equation that describes the viscoelasticity of the envelope material is derived.The constitutive equation can represent both the individual roles of the warp and weft fibers,and their further coupled interactions.The theoretical computation results were verified by off-axial tension tests.The results can help gain a deeper understanding of the mechanical mechanism and provide a reference for structural design of envelope material.展开更多

For fixed number of marked points, we show that such in...In this paper, we study genus 0 equivariant relative Gromov Witten invariants of P1 whose corresponding relative stable maps are totally ramified over one point. For fixed number of marked points, we show that such invariants are piecewise polynomials in some parameter space. The parameter space can then be divided into polynomial domains, called chambers. We determine the difference of polynomials between two neighbouring chambers. In some special chamber, which we called the totally negative chamber, we show that such a polynomial can be expressed in a simple way. The chamber structure here shares some similarities to that of double Hurwitz numbers.展开更多

Relative radiometric normalization (RRN) minimizes radiometric differences among images caused by inconsistencies of acquisition conditions rather than changes in surface. Scale invariant feature transform (SIFT) has ...Relative radiometric normalization (RRN) minimizes radiometric differences among images caused by inconsistencies of acquisition conditions rather than changes in surface. Scale invariant feature transform (SIFT) has the ability to automatically extract control points (CPs) and is commonly used for remote sensing images. However, its results are mostly inaccurate and sometimes contain incorrect matching caused by generating a small number of false CP pairs. These CP pairs have high false alarm matching. This paper presents a modified method to improve the performance of SIFT CPs matching by applying sum of absolute difference (SAD) in a different manner for the new optical satellite generation called near-equatorial orbit satellite and multi-sensor images. The proposed method, which has a significantly high rate of correct matches, improves CP matching. The data in this study were obtained from the RazakSAT satellite a new near equatorial satellite system. The proposed method involves six steps: 1) data reduction, 2) applying the SIFT to automatically extract CPs, 3) refining CPs matching by using SAD algorithm with empirical threshold, and 4) calculation of true CPs intensity values over all image’ bands, 5) preforming a linear regression model between the intensity values of CPs locate in reverence and sensed image’ bands, 6) Relative radiometric normalization conducting using regression transformation functions. Different thresholds have experimentally tested and used in conducting this study (50 and 70), by followed the proposed method, and it removed the false extracted SIFT CPs to be from 775, 1125, 883, 804, 883 and 681 false pairs to 342, 424, 547, 706, 547, and 469 corrected and matched pairs, respectively.展开更多
