Both the re...First a remanufactming logistics network is con- structed, in which the structure of both the forward logistics and the reverse logistics are of two levels and all the logistics facilities are capacitated. Both the remanufactming products and the new products can be used to meet the demands of customers. Moreover, it is assumed that homogeneous facilities can be designed together into integrated ones, based on which a mixed integer nonlinear programming (MINLP) facility location model of the remanufacturing logistics network with six types of facilities to be sited is built. Then an algorithm based on enumeration for the model is given. The feasible combinations of binary variables are searched by enumeration, and the remaining sub-problems are solved by the LP solver. Finally, the validities of the model and the algorithm are illustrated by means of an example. The result of the sensitivity analysis of parameters indicates that the integration of homogeneous facilities may influence the optimal solution of the problem to a certain degree.展开更多

The deliveries of every client as uncertain parameters are expressed as triangular fuzzy numbers. In order to describe MVRPRL, a multi-objective fuzzy programming model with credibility measure theory is constructed. Then the simulationbased tabu search algorithm combining inter-route and intra-route neighborhoods and embedded restarts are designed to solve it. Computational results show that the tabu search algorithm developed is superior to sweep algorithms and that compared with handling each on separate routes, the transportation costs can be reduced by 43% through combining pickups with deliveries.展开更多

An example is presented to prove the feasibility and validity of the proposed method. In a reverse logistics network, there are many decision problems to be taken into consideration such as facility location, capacity allocation, production planning and vehicle routing. Each of these problems can be categorized into three types of decision planning: strategic, tactical or operational, based on the time planning horizon. In this paper, we review the literature of supply chain network in an effort to achieve green through implementing reverse logistic practices, and classify the defined problems by the group of decision planning. In general, most of the literatures are focused on the strategic and tactical decision planning, only a few are operational-based. The total cost of closed-loop supply chain was selected as fitness function, and a unique and tidy coding mode was adopted in the proposed algorithm. Then, some mutation and crossover operators were introduced to achieve discrete optimization of RCSCN structure. The simulation results show that the proposed algorithm can gain global optimal solution with good convergent performance and rapidity. The failure rate of the manufacturing machine depends on its produ...This paper deals with the production-dependent failure rates for a hybrid manufacturing/remanufacturing system subject to random failures and repairs. The failure rate of the manufacturing machine depends on its production rate, while the failure rate of the remanufacturing machine is constant. In the proposed model, the manufacturing machine is characterized by a higher production rate. The machines produce one type of final product and unmet demand is backlogged. At the expected end of their usage, products are collected from the market and kept in recoverable inventory for future remanufacturing, or disposed of. The objective of the system is to find the production rates of the manufacturing and the remanufacturing machines that would minimize a discounted overall cost consisting of serviceable inventory cost, backlog cost and holding cost for returns. A computational algorithm, based on numerical methods, is used for solving the optimality conditions obtained from the application of the stochastic dynamic programming approach. Finally, a numerical example and sensitivity analyses are presented to illustrate the usefulness of the proposed approach. Our results clearly show that the optimal control policy of the system is obtained when the failure rates of the machine depend on its production rate.展开更多

The failure rate of the manufacturing machine depends on its production rate, while the failure rate of the remanufacturing machine is constant. In the proposed model, the manufacturing machine is characterized by a higher production rate. The machines produce one type of final product and unmet demand is backlogged. At the expected end of their usage, products are collected from the market and kept in recoverable inventory for future remanufacturing, or disposed of. The objective of the system is to find the production rates of the manufacturing and the remanufacturing machines that would minimize a discounted overall cost consisting of serviceable inventory cost, backlog cost and holding cost for returns. A computational algorithm, based on numerical methods, is used for solving the optimality conditions obtained from the application of the stochastic dynamic programming approach. Finally, a numerical example and sensitivity analyses are presented to illustrate the usefulness of the proposed approach. Our results clearly show that the optimal control policy of the system is obtained when the failure rates of the machine depend on its production rate.
